This is a lovely 1 story house with quality amenities, walking distance to the center of Friday Harbor. Hardwood floors. A refined, superclean environment with artistic pizzazz. In a quiet, safe neighborhood near the historical museum and grounds.

Watch the sunrise: French doors open to a large front deck that looks over the treetops and roofs to a distant water view. Excellent feng shui!

Enjoy the sunset: A private cobblestone courtyard in the back is perfect for barbecues, with a big hammock, teak furniture, lovely flowers.

RENTED PER MONTH ONLY. It is a residential neighborhood, no weekly or daily rentals allowed by city law. Please don't ask about daily rentals.

AVAILABLE AS FULLTIME RENTAL: This house is also available for full time rental - furnished - a yearly lease for $1900 a month. Perfect place to stay while you wait to finish your island dream house.

  • Air Conditioning : One bedroom has a window air conditioner. It rarely gets hot on San Juan Island. This is the only bedroom that might get too hot, maybe once a century.

  • Catering Available : There are several local caterers and lots of good food within walking distance.

  • Deck/Patio : Lots of outdoor space to sit and contemplate. There is even a family of deer and a pair of silver foxes who will visit if you encourage (i.e., feed) them.
  • Balcony : Big outdoor deck, looks over rooftops toward the harbor. Beautiful sunrises.
• View/Location
  • Water View : Kinda sorta. The front deck looks out over the town, with peek-a-boo views of other islands and the water. You can see a spot of harbor, and a spot of Lopez Island.
• Communications
  • Telephone : Outgoing only local and toll free. Excellent cell phone reception.
  • WiFi (Wireless Internet) : Wifi is totally reliable for Macs and PCs.
• Other Amenities
  • This home is model-perfect, but still family-friendly. You won't be disappointed. The owner is a professional interior designer.
• Suitability
  • Pet Friendly : Back patio is fenced, but gates might not lock. Quiet dogs are welcome. Cats? Why would anyone travel with their cat? Nevertheless, it would be totally cat friendly as well. We love animals so much that we don't even eat them.
  • Smoking Not Allowed : NO exceptions! Any smoke smell will result in forfeiture of your cleaning deposit.
