Year Purchased: 2007
My husband grew up visiting Waiwera, training at the hot pools and spending days at the beach.
We began bringing our family to Waiwera once a year from the States and fell in love with it. After eight years of looking we finally became the proud owners of our perfect beach house. We already have many happy memories here. We hope you will too!

The Unique Benefits of this House
Watching the dramatic tide rushing in and out is a daily spectacle. We love to hike the headland opposite through real New Zealand forest, lush green tree ferns towering above delicate wildflowers then the awesome vista of the Hauraki Gulf opening suddenly in front of you.
We swim and fish and kayak right in front of the house. We BBQ seafood and roast marshmallows, we soak in the thermal spring and snooze on the daybed. This is our place to slow down, eat well and play. When we need a change of pace, we travel over to historic Puhoi and eat lunch at the famous pub and search the little antique stores for treasures. We head to Puhoi's Cheese store and restaurant and stock up or pick up gourmet finds at Matakana's weekend market.
This whole area is heaven. Uncrowded, unhurried and we love it and hope you will too.
