Our newly remodeled South Lake Tahoe Chalet is a wonderful retreat for friends and family year around. We are ideally located for all that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. We are just 4.5 miles from the casinos and 3 miles from Heavenly Ski resort.
Views of Tahoe peaks, The Heavenly Ski Resort, and spectacular wildlife can be seen from the open kitchen, living room and the spacious loft. Our large fenced in backyard with a beautiful springtime flowering landscape, opens to a 27 hole Frisbee/Disc Golf Course. Adjacent to the Disc Course and a 2 minute walk from our rear gate, is the Bijou Community Park that includes a children's playground, skate park, basketball and volleyball courts. There is also an exercise course that runs from our back yard through the meadow, around the 9 hole golf course, past the disc golf course, skate park and then back to our rear fence and gate. I've been coming to SLT for greater than 35 years, winter and summer, usually renting a different home each visit. I now have found a place I will return to repeatedly. The house has been completely redone and is lovely and very comfortable. The back yard opens to Bijou Park but remains private. There is a beautiful meadow a short walk from the back yard for walking and running. The Lake is close, the neighborhood quiet. Highly recommend.
