My family's stay at this great condo in Del Mar was wonderful. It is quiet and attractive private condo complex yet very close to the beach and walking distance to the village of Del Mar. It is great for a small family stay and the upstairs master bedroom is very relaxing and nice. The kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking meals at the place. My son, daughter and husband all surf so they enjoyed the waves within walking distance and I loved the beach for daily jogs. We definitely want to come again! The Tolin family

I cannot express enough what a wonderful time I had at this Rental. From the onset, the owner was very friendly and punctual when responding to my inquiries. More importantly, he was extremely interested in making sure that my stay was the best one possible. I had informed him that I intended to propose to my girlfriend during our stay and he went out of his way to make sure that everything was in-line with my personal schedule and planning. I went to school at UCSD and even lived off Carmel Valley RD for a year during that time and consider myself well versed on the area. Quite honestly, I can say that this condo is a STEAL for the rate being charged. It is by far the best value on VRBO. In fact, my Fiance' and I plan on returning to this same rental frequently in the future. During the week that we spent, we were able to quickly walk to restaurants and stores on Camino del mar, ride our bikes up to dog beach in Solana Beach, Walk down the beach to Torrey Pines, and enjoyed a clear view of 4th of July fireworks at both Sea World and the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Everynight we walked just one block (no exaggeration) to enjoy the sunset, and we sat out on out patio for all of our meals. The owner has beach chairs, towels, and all the home and beach ammenities there for us. We were literally depressed when it came time to leave. What probably sets this owner apart is the fact that he is a local product of the area and truly values his home and the environment it provides rather than simply treating it as a source of income. He absolutely went the distance for us,.. going as far as to meet us in Encinitas on our way down from Orange County. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.. local flavor, tranquil relaxation, a caring owner, and the best beach in San Diego at a stone's-throw distance. Enough said!.. Enjoy your stay

Great Condo by the Beach

Grew up in Del Mar and was in need to relive memories of days at the beach. Have stayed a couple of other places in the past but this by far was the best ( condition of condo, proximity to the beach and secured parking ) . This condo is directly across the street from 17th street beach ( where I spent most of my time time growing up ). It also is within easy walking distance to downtown Del Mar. We went for morning strolls on the beach walking from 17th street to 29th street and back. Spent time at the Poseiden ( used to be named the Fire Pit ) where we dined on the patio on the beach. Also a great spot for catching the sunset. We walked to Bully's ( another old favorite ) in downtown Del Mar. At the end of the day, it was great to hop in the Hot Tub and relax. One cool feature is that there is a great patio in back with a BBQ that we used to Grill fresh fish we got at the Fish Market ( a restaurant / fresh fish market across fro the Racetrack ). For me, Coast Blvd is Del Mar and 17th Street beach is the best sand in North County. The Condo has a locking gate for both street entry and parking ( huge in Del Mar ) especially in Summer where it can take hours to find a place to park just to get to the beach. Booking was straightforward ( but this place is in demand so best to reserve it early ) and Tim ( the owner ) went above and beyond to make sure that we were completely comfortable during our stay. Didn't need anything but was nice to know that had there been any issues we could have resolved them due to the fact that we could get hold of the owner. He seemed to really care that we had everything we needed. This place is immaculate and has a great beach feel to it. ( decor definitely about the Ocean ) When I get the need again to feel Del Mar, I will be back.

I stayed at this lovely condo with my daughter and her friend and we had a ball. Wonderful location with respect to a fabulous beach. Great for families. You can even walk to downtown Del Mar in just a few minutes. Highly recommend it.

This condo is perfectly located in Del Mar. right across the street from two great restaurants on the beach, and a walk away from Jimmy O's, a cool nightclub. It takes 30 seconds to be on the sand at one of the best beaches I've ever visited. The condo was clean and comfortable with good tv and stereo amenities. Everything we needed to make our stay easy was there. It had a very nice bbq area as well as a spa for post beach relaxing. It was a 3 minute walk to the village of Del Mar with numerous additional restauraunts and great shopping. Be sure to take bikes with you. The surrounding beaches are fun to ride through.. The owners addressed all of our needs during our stay. Quite friendly.
