The Chalet is a luxury home that has three levels and provides sleeping in beds and sofa beds for 20 people. Two levels have a full kitchen and laundry, VCR/DVD, and local phone.
The lower level has a master bedroom with a king-size bed, 3 bedrooms with queenbeds and one bedroom(especially designed for kids) has 2 singles and a double bed. The upper level has a bedroom with 2 twins that can be made into a king. The third level is a studio apartment with a king and sofa bed.
The lower level great room has ping pong, fuseball, and air hockey. The upper level has a piano, card table, and large visiting area.
In addition, there is a Jacuzzi in a sun room. The lower covered deck has a gas grill, porch swing, preschool play equipment, toddler swing and sandbox. The upper deck has lounge chairs and an umbrella/table/chairs.
There are 88 steps to the two-story boat dock, fully enclosed for young children's safety, which has a tube slide from the second story. There is also a large mid-deck that has a fire pit, playground equipment for older children and a 16 foot slide into a large sandbox. The Chalet is a paradise for families with children. You can walk into the lake and not worry about someone falling off the bank or kids can play along the edge.
The Chalet is perfect for large family reunions. There is space for parking 6 cars and 2-boat trailers. It is possible to drive down to the boat dock. Sequoyah Marina is fairly close by boat for those who enjoy dining out, need gas, or want to rent water "toys." Demory Mart is only a few miles away for a deli and quick meals and staples.
A community launching site is only a few minutes away by water. Volleyball and a space for a motor home or camping is available in the cove next door.

Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2001
The owners have a ministry called Family Matters Ministry. The Chalet is used for retreats during the off-season. Currently, the owners travel back and forth from Tennessee to Kauai where they have family. When they are in TN they use the Chalet as their ministry office. Dr. Kay Kuzma is a motivational speaker and writer for families. David Tate, a local realtor, handles all rentals.

Norris Lake is the cleanest TVA lake and is a highly desirable vacation destination for those who enjoy lake living, water skiing, and fishing. The Big Creek area #6 on the lake is quiet, away from tourist activities, and is great for swimming in the clear water.
