The Master suite has a separate shower and jetted tub for those relaxing moments. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds and a TV that the kids will surely enjoy. This house was a nice home and met my familly's needs. However, the televisions were very old and small. The 35 inch main tv could not support computer hook up. Additionally there was no wi-fi. But, more seriously there were no smoke detectors in the house and limited egress in case of fire. There were two kitchen smoke detectors. The kitchen has limited bowls and there were only four salad/cereal/soup bowls in the house. Make sure to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper! The code that we were given for the entrance gate was wrong. The floors were filthy and walking barefoot will make your feet black with grime. Overall, the house has a very nice layout and the furnishings are comfortable. The theme for the house is SHELLS and they cover eveything. It is for unique design tastes. The beach was close and lovely and it was a very pet friendly house. We enjoyed it, but the house could use some enhancements.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for the suggestions that you posted. We sent the suggestions over to the owner of the property. We are working with them to update the TV's in the living room and in the master bedroom to flat screens this weekend and the other TV's in the near future. There are two hardwired smoke detectors located upstairs and also two regular smoke detectors located in the kitchen area. This home is also equipped with a fire extinguisher. There are several exits located downstairs; one at the front door, one at the back door, and one out to the garage. The upstairs bedrooms have balcony access, except for the room with two twins. There are additional bowls in the home that are fish-shaped. We only provide the first initial supply of toiletries items for each guests stay. We are also working on having the floors steamed cleaned, but this is part of deep cleaning that is done in off season. We purchased this home because it is located in a quiet subdivision and we loved the fact that the subdivision offers a gulf front pool. There is hardly any traffic on this side of Panama City Beach, which makes crossing the road to go to beach easy. There are shopping centers and grocery stores located near by and Pier Park is just a short drive away! We hope that you love it as much as we do.
