We rented the Rose Cottage for a week in May. The cottage is clean, in a ‘great’ location, and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. If you desire, you can walk to Main Street or to the beach and Huntington Pier! There was so much to do…we are sorry to report, we did not have time to use any of the three bicycles which were provided! In the garage, we also noticed beach chairs and wave boards, and a washer and dryer for general use. The cottage flowers are amazing! There are quaint front yard and backyard patio areas (with lots of flowers), which we very much enjoyed! The backyard area had a barbeque and a great outdoor shower if you might come back with sandy feet! Parking was a non-issue. You can park in the driveway, but there is also plenty of street parking available. And for those who might want to eat at the cottage, there is a large refrigerator, and fully remodeled kitchen, with dishwasher. There is also a big screen TV and wireless. We had such a great time, and Lenga was only a phone call away if we needed anything at all! And if you're looking for dining options or local amenities, just ask! If we ever have the opportunity to be in the Huntington Beach area again, we’ll absolutely be calling in the hopes of reserving this property.

My kids and I rented this cottage while on vacation from Texas. The beds were comfortable and the cottage had all the amenities of home. It was walking distance to shopping and beaches. There were bikes in the garages for the kids to ride to the beach. There were also boogie boards! My family and I absolutely cannot wait to return next year!

We stayed for one week, and we loved it! The cottage is clean, with nice furniture, it feels real warm and cosy. The beds are very good! The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The Wifi was fast, and we could walk to the beach and the towncentre, so we had a great time!

Stayed for the month of October. Cottage has all you need for a great home from home. Well maintained property in a excellent area. 5 mins walk to main street and or the beach. Lovely garden area plus an out door heated shower, that was great to wash the sand off with ! Everything in the cottage you could wish for and a couple of bikes that we used to the max as well. Lovely couple to deal with and we will be returning for sure . Thanks

We spent 5 days here at the end of our west coast roadtrip at the end of September and it was a perfect place to end our holiday. My boyfriend and I are in our late twenties from London, UK and we were looking for a nice quiet place to relax and a base to explore Orange County from. Huntington Beach was definitely a good starting point and was an easy drive to other close beaches such as Laguna and Sunset Beach. The cottage was beautiful with a modern interior, tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen and facilities. The front garden entrance was wonderful, full of flowers and very welcoming and there was private parking for our hire car. The cottage was situated close to shops (about 10mins drive), and most importantly a 5 minute bike ride to the beach (bikes provided as part of the hire). The owners were very friendly, providing advice about the local area and were happy to help if needed. The neighbourhood felt safe to walk in at night, and was quiet, the cottage was most definitely a home away from home and we would highly recommend the place.

An excellent, well maintained property near to all the Huntingdon Beach facilities. Very flexible and accomodating to the limited days we stayed. Very user friendly for none US citizens, ie deposit by Paypal, cash balance on check in and no security funds to return. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for all your extra attention while we stayed at the house. It was so nice to enter a clean house and instantly feel like it was home for a week. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with towels, toilet paper and all other essential needs. The washer and dryer was an added bonus. Although we didn't get to taste anything from the garden, it was nice to look at in the evenings with the cool breeze of the ocean. We will definitely be calling you when we plan on visiting California again.

This is the 2nd time we've rented from these landlords, first time was in the Rose Cottage, this time in the cottage next door. Same floor plan, just flipped over. Both times were a pleasure. House was exactly as pictured in photos, landlords are super nice! Nice extra to find bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and even a cooler in the garage for our use. We will be renting from them again in the future and would highly recommend this place!!

Our family really had a wonderful time staying at the Rose Cottage in Huntington Beach. The landscaping and flowers are out of this world, the kitchen is very modern and was equipped with everything we needed, including a small organic garden in the back yard. We were within walking distance from numerous shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. There is also a park nearby, which kept our young children entertained. There is plenty of space in the house for a family of 4 or more to live comfortably, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

Our stay at the Rose Cottage was quite enjoyable. Clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. All amenities were as described. The neighborhood and street was quiet during our stay and the cottage insulates any street noise well. Much quieter than any of the upscale hotels we have stayed at in the area. The cottage is a short walk to Main street and the beach and the owner was a pleasure to work with. We would recommend and will plan on a return visit.

My family & I stayed at this cottage for the week of April vacation. Was great to have a yard for my 3 year old, with a gate so she could be out front or out back without worrying about the road. Walking distance to beach-in fact we alked there every day at least once, most of which my daughter walked herself versus the stroller. Very relaxing setting, close enough to stores, restaurants, beach, etc yet not so close they were a temptation. Everything we needed was readily accessible & anything we might have been missing we were able to contact Lenga for right away. Would definitely recommend this to family & friends--look forward to our next trip & hope cottage is available :)

We stayed at Rose Cottage with our three children. It's very close to the beach and not too far of a drive from Disneyland. The front and back landscape is beautiful. The house was charmingly decorated and clean. The beds were comfortable. Everything you can think of is provided, down to laundry detergent and two bicycles in the garage. We would definitely stay here again.

We are an european family with 2 adults and 2 teenagers (17 and 15) and we enjoyed this cottage very much. The location is quiet, clean, cozy and ideal to have a relaxed vacation. All kitchen stuff is available and we felt like home. Friendly neighbourhood and within walking distance to Huntington Beach Main Street and Pier. Bikes are available and we enjoyed it to go to Ruby's Diner at the Pier for breakfast. We can warmly recommend this nice holiday cottage.

Just spent a week at this cottage with my Son and Grandson. Loved the garden patios with roses everywhere and warm comfortable decor. Felt very safe and comfortable while there. Lenga & David were so helpful when I had questions. I only had to buy a little food & suntan lotion. They have thought of everything. Great having a washer & dryer too. Easy walk to Main Street with plenty to enjoy. You must go on Tuesday evening (Street fair). Music, vendors and lots of good food & drink. ("Dukes Restaurant" next to the pier is also a must for dining.) My only regret is that I could not stay a month. We are already planning another trip in Sept. and will be booking this wonderful little place.

When my husband and I arrived at this cottage we were immediately met by Lenga the owner. She was so efficient and friendly, it was like meeting an old friend. We had a wonderful time our whole stay. It was so close to the downtown and beach. There was a washer, dryer, garage, grill, even his and her bikes....the bed was so comfortable and everything we needed was available in the kitchen...It was nice to have a choice of the back patio or front porch to enjoy the outdoors. The high speed wireless is a plus... The location can't be beat and we're looking forward to returning soon!! Thanks, Lenga for allowing us to stay in your comfy, homey cottage!

I recently had the opportunity to spend a few days at the charming Rose Cottage. It was the perect location and the amenities available were just what I was looking for. The cottage is close to the beach, shopping and dining. Cozy little areas in the front and back yard are quaint and great spots for morning tea or coffee. It was so pleasant to have the washer/dryer available and the bicycles were a great plus and made for an easy ride around the neighborhood. The location of the cottage was quiet and peaceful and for my next visit to the area, I will definitley be booking my next visit at the cottage.
