Charming furnished cottage 12 kms away from Saumur.
This property is lakeside, and I offer a right to fish for 2 people, year round, in this freshwater 30 hectare spring water private lake. There are pikes, perch, carp, crawfish, etc. One fishing row boat is provided.
An ideal get-away in a totally relaxing countryside environment that is spectacular in beauty all year round. The cottage is located 20 meters from the lake in the middle of a private forest with many walking trails. This location provides a totally rare experience.
The Loire Valley offers so many fascinating excursions. Visit the nearby Angers, Villandry, Azay le Rideau, Chenonceau, the list is endless. Saumur is world famous for its equestrian activities, and the "Cadre Noir" show is unforgettable.
This area also provides many wine tasting opportunities. After a full day of visiting castles and wineries, return "home" to relax in front of the fire, or have a crisp fresh glass of local Loire valley wine under the wisteria covered outside patio area.
Perfect for sabbaticals, and I would consider long term rental arrangements at a reduced price.
