We were very pleased with the condo and it was exactly as pictured. We would definitely recommend it to friends. The owners were very easy to work with. The only little disappointment was the temperature of the pool (could have been warmer) and some of the tiles on the pool bottom were missing.

Owner response:Personally talked with Manager. Pool heater has been turned up. New solar water system to be installed Jan 2012. Tiles repaired.

Wonderful condo in great location

We recently enjoyed 15 days in the Sure House condo in Waikoloa Village. This condo was even better than we thought it would be. It is large, clean and very well equipped. There were 7 of us including three pre-teen grandchildren. Everyone loved it and can't wait to go back. The kids loved the pool because it is 8 feet deep so allows some diving and they were usually the only ones there. They also liked having their own space in the loft and their own bathroom. We had wondered about staying in the village as it is 5-6 miles from the coast. After we had been there a few days the drive seemed to be just a few minutes. The advantage of being a little higher up is that the evenings cool off allowing comfortable sleeping without air conditioning. The fans in the condo and the large windows kept the temperature comfortable even during the day. The condo location is super (no condos in front or behind it). It is directly adjacent to the golf course and has distant (but beautiful) ocean and sunset views. The lanai is huge and seats 7 or 8 comfortably. There were so many extras provided that it was amazing. The boogie boards they had were really good quality not the usual cheap ones found in most condos. There were games, puzzles, movies, a great T.V., a real cooler with wheels which works great for beach picnics, the list goes on ......... The condo is very nicely decorated and the grounds are meticulous. The owners are very congenial and easy to deal with. We would definitely like to stay there again. Mahalo, George.

Great week in Kona!

George was so easy to work with to book this place in Kona and when we got there it was perfect! It's a minute to get to the pool, which you can see from the incredibly clean, big, lovely condo! It's in a very quiet neighborhood with great views of the ocean! It's also walking distance to the grocery and golf course. It was a perfect place to stay - we loved it!

Terrific place to stay

We had a terrific time at the Sure House. The listing is accurate, the photos of the view are exact and amenities are as described. Condo was clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. The owner was very helpful in accomodating us. The location is terrific as it is close to our favorite beaches at Hapuna and Mauna Kea - only 15 minutes door to beach. Easy to access to all Kohala beaches, Waimea, Mauna Kea visitors center, Hilo and Volcano - Kona not far away either. The breeze was a slight surprise, but kept the temperature very comfortable both inside and outside. The space was perfect for us - family of 4 with the grandparents - 2 bedrooms (loft is basically it's own bedroom so that makes 3 bedrooms) and 3 full bathrooms. Kitchen was thankfully well stocked with oils, spices and other cooking necessities allowing us to feel very homey. I especially loved the ipod dock so we could listen to our music while relaxing at the condo between outings and in the evenings. Lanai was outstanding with 2nd floor overlooking the best pool in the condo complex so we could keep an eye on the kids. Great pool and hot tub. Lawn just below lanai perfect for tossing football or maybe a frisbee if not too breezy. Selection of 2 great boogie boards and all the beach chairs perfect, also the 'sandgrabber' umbrella holder was just another item that was so useful and contributed to that feeling that owners had thought of everything to make our stay just right. We did use two sets of the golf clubs and hit a few buckets of balls at the practice range - this was great so we didn't have to rent clubs. Thanks so much for everything, we had a wonderful stay and made many wonderful memories. We would love to come back and stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

New Year's in Hawai'i

This condo is delightful - spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped. We appreciated that each bedroom had a bath, the comfortable furniture and thoughtful information to assist guests. We ate every dinner on the deck overlooking the golf course and sunset. Even when the winds blew, the deck was protected and peaceful. The owner representative was a tremendous help, we called her several times to answer questions with great success. We would agree with another comment that the swimming pool was brisk and were surprised to read that there was a heater! It sounds like that will be resolved with a new system being installed. The grills by the pool were first rate and we grilled fish from the market several times. The location was central to most places we wanted to visit.The owners were kind and easy to work with, we absolutely recommend staying here.

WOW! We had a fantastic time in Hawaii and a wonderful stay at The Sure House. Everything we needed was there, the amenities were fabulous!! We had six adults and still plenty of space in the condo. We liked that the property was quiet, close to golf and shopping and easy to get to. The binder of maps, trips, reviews, and literature was very helpful. Check out Sansei Seafood Restaurant at the Waikoloa Beach Resort for great Sushi. Also Check out Kona Honu Divers for great snorkeling trips! We will recommend the property and we can’t wait to come back and enjoy The Sure House again in the future! Thanks George!

A Great Time!

This condo certainly lived up to the hype! Very spacious, clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We found the area to be perfect because it is centrally located. Close to local grocery, golf course (which was actually reasonable to play...), and nicely situated to visit the rest of the island, from the beaches to the scenic drive to Hilo. We were quite impressed and will certainly consider another visit!

honeymoon vacationers

Hi George, we just wanted to tell you how happy we were with our accomodations. your condo was beautiful, and a lot more than we expected. The full kitchen,washer and dryer, large assortment of movies, and big screen tv were great, and we really enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the lanaii. It was great that you had boogie boards, snorkeling gear, golf clubs, board games, and many different books for our entertainment as well. I am not exagerating when I say this is the best condo we have ever stayed in. Everything was all that you said it would be. The itinerary book was full of great ideas on where to dine, and where to go for all of our entertainment. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, we had them all to ourselves every time we went down there. And If we could say just one last thing, we took several pictures during our honeymoon of the sun setting on the beach and the best sunset we captured was taken at the condo from the golf course. We even enlarged it and have it hanging in our living room. Honestly, we had a fabulous time there and look forward to renting from you again if (or when) we make it back to the Big Island of Hawaii. Thanks for everything.

Hawaii Vacation

Seven of us (4 adults & 3 Kids) enjoyed our stay form 3/24/10 - 3/28/10 at the condo very much. It was neat and clean and everything we needed was there. We appreciated the boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel gear that was available. Sunsets were beautiful. The only problem was that the BBQ griolls, cabana & pool near the condo was not usable because of repairs being done, but you had no control over that problem. I would reccommend the condo to anyone that wants a quiet, clean, well located, and completely furnished place to stay.

My boyfriend and I rented this condo in June and we couldn't have been more pleased with the accomadations. The location is great and the condo is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We loved having access to a washer and dryer in the unit and a fully equiped kitchen made meals very budget friendly. There was also a very useful book that had many recommendations on things to do on the island as well as detailed directions starting from the condo driveway. We were very satified with our stay and hope to come back next summer!

We had a relaxing stay at your condo. The condo was spacious and beautifully decorated in "Island Style". We made great use of the beach equipment and used the ice chest to pack snacks for our excursions. Although the condo was not near the beach, (about 6 miles away), we had a beautiful and quiet view of the ocean from the large Lanai. We enjoyed a few breakfasts and dinners on the Lanai also, taking in the view and enjoying the fragrance of the Plumerias that were growing there. Ahhhh, I can still smell them. Our time spent there was so enjoyable and relaxing, we called to add more days at the condo! Mahalo, you have a beautiful and peaceful locale!

What a relaxing, refreshing treat for "sure" condo is! The setting and weather were perfect. Oh, what serenity and quietness, quite a contrast to city life in Las Vegas. Your modern, elegant condo has everything one needs in a home. Daily lanai dining with exquisite view was delightful. I really enjoyed your stash of DVDs, particularly the one about amazing animals with unique characteristics was incredible. How intriquing is the one about earth being a privileged planet. How invigorating to sleep and let the body wake naturally!! It is such a beautiful emerald green paradise with blue skies. Use sunscreen. Going to the world's 2nd best beach was delightful but lobster red skin diminished what could have been a perfect memory. Vitamin E oil daily meant no peeling. What a blessing your relaxing home is to the spirit and body. What beautiful memories I had on this island and in your home. Perfectly centered on the island, you can see and do it all. Everything is accessible...shopping, sightseeing, entertainment. July 29-Aug 4 2008

We've been very happy to stay 4 nights in this condo. We had each day the great breakfast time on a lanai with a beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is completely equipped. The location is very convenient to the white beach, restaurants and another attractions. The black lava fields are very unusual landscape, and it's interesting to watch a handmade design with white corals around. Thank you to share your condo with us. Nataliya, Nickolas, Oleg.
