Cherry beach cottage is less than a two hour drive from downtown Chicago. The cottage is a short, 200 yard walk from Cherry Beach, a sandy Lake Michigan Beach. The back yard is surrounded by trees for privacy and has a hot tub, deck, weber charcoal grill and large screen porch. The front of the cottage is set back from the road for a nice front yard. Cherry beach road is a small dirt lane leading to the beach.
Inside the cottage the living room has a wood burning fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD player and a CD player and is furnished with comfortable seating and a sofa bed. The dining room has a dining room table with seating for six. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The kitchen has a smaller table accommodating four and is equipped with cooking utensils and equipment. The cottage has two full baths, one of which is located in the garage. Since the photos were taken, the original oak floors have been stripped and refinished, the cottage has been painted and the bathroom has been completely redone.
Nearby you can enjoy Warren Dunes State Park, fine dining, Captain Mike's amusement park, Lighthouse Outlet Mall, Indiana National Park, hiking, biking, swimming and other pastimes.

My family (2 adults , 3 children)stayed in this cottage and had wonderful time. The cottage was charming and exceeded our expectations ! It was clean, neat and well stocked. We enjoyed the relaxed wooded setting and the 2 minute walk to the GORGEOUS beach. The owner was very pleasant, helpful and great to deal with. I would absolutely recommend this cottage.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
