  • This place was awesome! We stayed at the Sage Hen for 9 days in September 2009 and it was our home away from home. The place looks just like the pictures. Ron is an avid gardener who has done an awesome job on the landscape. He was a great host/innkeeper and was there to answer any questions if we had any. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to northern California.

  • We were very pleased with the accommodations. The place was clean, very well equipped, and the setting was superb. Staying here will not disappoint. The only minor caveat for those of us used to sleeping on king size beds is that the Murphy bed is a full size so be prepared to get cozy. Even this would not deter us from enjoying Ron's hospitality next time we go visit the grandchildren.

  • I stayed in the studio for a week, and can't say enough good things about it! It was very cozy, with lots of charm and all the modern conveniences you could ever want. Every detail has been attended to, and all building materials are super high quality and unique. The fully-furnished kitchen was very nice, and I enjoyed some homemade meals during my stay. Ron was super attentive, making sure I was comfortable during my stay. He even came and built a fire in the outside firepit on a couple of nights, which was a real treat, especially having come from a city where outdoor fires aren't allowed! I would highly recommend this studio or any of Ron's other vacation rentals. You won't be disappointed!
