Great Beach House Located in the Charming Waterfront Resort Town of North/Chesapeake Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. This unit is "Beachfully" furnished to accommodate families for a beach retreat or the gang going CHARTER BOAT fishing. Head Boat leaves daily. The house is fully furnished with everything you need. We have cable and wireless internet. Just ONE house back FROM THE BAY and one block from the beginning of the boardwalk including a 550' public fishing pier and beach. Everyone will enjoy hunting for sharks teeth and seashells. Everything you need is within walking distance. Rita's and other goodies offered by vendors on the Boardwalk. We also now have a Trolley to get anywhere you need to go.
The town boasts a beach for sun bathing, 7 block boardwalk, unique shops, fine dining, crab houses, ice cream parlor, pubs, groceries, bingo, slot gambling, a waterpark and endless water sports. Perfect Getaway!
Also a nice retreat in the off season. A great small town, beautifully decorated during the holidays!
It's also a great place to stay if your planning an event at the award winning Herrington Harbor Resort. Just two miles away!

Year Purchased: 1989
I bought and completely rehabbed this house a lifetime ago. It was my home for many wonderful memories. We only moved to a larger property when we started our family. We would not part with it so it's only logical that we share it as a vacation rental. We are in town quite often. You'll find me on the beach with the kids looking for sharks teeth or grabbing a Ritas & waffle cake on a hot day.
Why the Owner Chose Chesapeake Beach
The twin beach community is a resort town with so much to offer. As work aholics, we have very little time to get very far away so this is a very nice retreat.
The Unique Benefits of this House
There is nothing like a walk on the beach/boardwalk. It's so peaceful. We've spent many hours sharksteeth hunting and we go fishing every chance we get. And when you get hungry, there are plenty of nice places to dine.

Our group of twelve friends stayed at this house over a weekend and were extremely pleased with the house and the surrounding area. It was an extremely relaxed atmosphere and a true pleasure to enjoy southern Maryland with a group of close friends. The owners were extremely understanding and accommodating, further adding to our enjoyment. Thanks!

We have rented this house three years running and are always pleased. We have rented upstaire, downstairs and both units together when we came with a large group. It is clean and comfortable, it is within walking distance of several restaurants, antique shops and the beach, a candy shop, an ice cream parlor and a mini market. It is perfect for families or couples. We brought our bikes and rode wherever we needed to go. There were no parties or loud people during our stay. The fishing was fantastic and we spent several days at the water park. Highly recommend this house to anyone that wants a worry free place to stay and enjoys being self sufficient.

I surprised my husband for his birthday with a weekend at North Beach and the rental of this unit. We couldn't wait to get settled in and get to exploring. We arrived on a Friday night and were so excited to find out that the little town had an old car show and street bizarre every Friday night. We walked around, took pictures, and sampled vendor goodies. We spent the remainder of the weekend bbqing on the charcoal grill, sitting on the lower deck of the house, and suntanning on the beach. The unit was very clean and had ample towels and linens for our convenience. We also frequented "Thursdays" which is a tavern with both indoor and outdoor seating directly across the street. The food is tasty! We both love to fish and enjoyed utilizing the fishing pier a block away from our house. It was the perfect location! All of my communications with the owner were positive experiences and I encourage anyone interested in renting to contact with inquiries! We're so glad that we did. I rated my overall experience "GOOD" vs. "EXCELLENT" because the listing indicated that we were renting a beach house but when we arrived, we realized that we had actually rented the upstairs of a house and another family had rented the main floor of the house. Although we would have rather been on the main floor, the upstairs unit was large enough and comfortable for us. The stairs leading up to our unit were a little rickety but we were 1 block off the bay and walking distance from everything that we needed. Also, we were woken up a few times in the middle of the night each night because there are a lot of hot rods and motorcycles that travel down the main road a few hundred feet from where we were sleeping, that makes it a little noisey, in conjunction with the bar emptying glass bottles at night. However, it was amazing not to have to drive anywhere and we were central to the action. The unit made our stay and we would definitely rent again. Thanks for the opportunity to rent!
Owner response:The area attracts ALOT of extra people for the 4th of July weekend. Fireworks are set off two consecutive nights and they are amazing to watch over the Bay. Usually, it is very quiet.

This property helped make our vacation to Washington DC and the Bay area a memorable one. The house is very nicely decorated and was our home away from home. The beach and boardwalk are within walking distance as well as restaurants and gift shops. Going to DC to catch a Nationals game and visiting down town was more convenient than I expected. If we ever travel back to the area, we will rent from this owner again!!!
