This lovely 2BR/2BA condo with ocean view is ideally situated on the very popular Los Muertos beach. Recently renovated, the kitchen features a new porcelain floor & porcelain counter tops, a beautiful granite top island with drawers, wet bar, wine cupboard, pantry, and extra cabinets. The bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, both with adjoining bathroom (also recently updated). My spacious and attractive unit has a large dining area with seating for six and the living room has 3 sectional sofas (L-shaped) which look out to a charming balcony accessed through the sliding glass doors.
The balcony overlooks the Bay of Banderas to the left and the jungle and mountains to the right. It’s a great place to enjoy the active and ever-changing beach scene, where one can often watch dolphins and whales, dine al fresco, or simply relax and savor the spectacular sunsets for which Puerto Vallarta is famous.
Our location on the South side, also referred to as Zona Romantica and Old Town, is recognized as one of Puerto Vallarta's most desirable areas. Framed against a backdrop of lush and semi-tropical jungle vegetation of the Sierra Madre mountain range and expansive views of the Beach & Ocean, our beautiful, well-maintained building is staffed by professional, courteous and efficient employees. A perfect combination of old-world charm and modern amenities, including an oceanfront restaurant, shady palapas with beach service, rooftop heated pool with gorgeous panoramic views, and excellent security services, Villas Vista Del Sol enjoys a wonderful reputation with owners and guests alike, as evidenced by our many repeat visitors.
In our piece of paradise, we have little need for a car and rarely use taxi services (although they are readily available). Most everything is within walking distance. We also have a very good and reasonably priced bus system for those times you might want to explore the surrounding areas.
Lots of culture and character here! With it's cobblestone streets, quaint footbridges, sidewalk and beach cafes, markets and artisan shops, friendly locals and visitors, and of course, the lively and entertaining Malecon, all the right elements are in place for a most memorable and relaxing vacation.

Oceanfront, clean, nice bathrooms, nice clean QUIET rooftop pool, Sea Monkey bar downstairs, great maid (Sara), in the best location in PV (Zona Romantica) at a very reasonable price....all CHECK MARKED!! We met so many NICE Americans, Canadians, Europeans in addition to wonderful Mexican folks. We felt very safe walking nearby at 11pm. This is where we will go next time in PV.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We' ve been going to PV for many years. This location is perfect. The condo has a very modern kitchen and baths. Very nicely decorated. I highly recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We have been privileged to stay in this lovely vacation villa many times over the years and it has truly become our "home away from home". If you are looking for a holiday filled with happy memories, you can't beat this charming condo, nestled in the heart of Old Vallarta. There are all the ameneties of a luxury hotel: crisp white sheets, fluffy towels, large flat-screen tv with choice of satellite channels, in-suite wi-fi, gourmet-appointed kitchen, marble-lined bathrooms and a private balcony overlooking sparkling Banderas Bay and the town's most popular beach. Yet you also feel the welcoming warmth of a good friend's home. Outside your door, the entertainment, sightseeing and dining choices are numerous and varied. Whether your tastes each day run to the sophisticated or the casual, everything is within an easy stroll. The beach is a step away, and if you prefer, the heated salt-water pool and spacious sundeck await you on the roof. The property is carefully maintained and the staff are efficient and friendly. The owner is charming and gracious and her style is reflected throughout the villa. We don't think you will find a more agreeable or convenient location in Puerto Vallarta, and we are pleased to recommend it to you. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean as the sun rises on another perfect day in paradise! This spacious condo has a traditional mexican feel but furnishings and appointments are up-to-date and cosy. There is no better location. You are In the heart of the old town and withing walking distance to all manner of restaurants and shops. Step out of the door and you are right on the beach. You can be as active or lazy as you wish. Boat rides, pirate ship, water sports, horsebacking riding, or just sitting under a palapa, reading, dozing or watching the pelicans swoop down for lunch. I have stayed here many times and and plan to return next year. The owner is warm, friendly and helpful. The weather is consistently great and I always feel very safe.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The amenities were great . Kitchen fully equipped , even had 2 sinks , all the cooking utensils you would ever need , The view from the Balcony is lovely as Vista Del Sol is right on the beach. .Sometimes you can see the dolphins and whales at play in the Bay. Location is great, maybe the best in the Old Town . Within walking distance to cafe's stores and nightlife. The Roof top Pool is one of the few that is heated and this makes a big difference . There is a large Palapa on the roof , with shower and change facilities The balcony is great for outside dining, and we ate breakfast and diner out there many times. The restaurant on the main floor and on the beach out front is very handy and well priced. The staff are friendly and considerate. All in All a great place to stay I cant wait to return. The owner is pleasant and easy to deal with. I have travelled the world extensively for many years and stayed on every continent many times; and still enjoy coming back here to Puerto Vallarta and this condo.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

One of THE best locations to stay! The building is right on the beach at the start of the Malecon, perfect for playing/relaxing on the beach and evening strolls. There are numerous excellent restaurants close by as well as fresh seafood and produce markets. The roof top pool provides the perfect atmosphere for fun and relaxation. We have stayed in this condo several times over the past 10 years and have always been made to feel welcome. The condo had all the amenties available for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a delightful place to spend a relaxing vacation! The condo is beautifully equipped and decorated in a combination of modern elegance and traditional Mexican styling that works very well together. We have visited this location every year for some time and have never been disappointed. The staff are gracious and accomodating and the units are kept clean and well maintained. From my point of view, the downtown location, right on the beach is far more inviting than the hotel district near the airport. It is a close walk to the downtown and many fabulous restaurants, art galleries and entertainment. Walk along Los Muertos beach in the morning and watch the fishermen and the local families or relax quietly by the pool on the roof. If you want to eat in, buy your fresh fish and produce from local vendors and markets and enjoy dinner on the balcony overlooking the ocean.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
