What a beautiful cabin with one of the best locations in the area, mountains and the river! We have been renting cabins in the area for several years and this is one we will come back to again and again..if not to just fly fish from the back yard! Fire in the fire pit...swinging on the porch swing...deer in the fields..it was beautiful and so cozy! Would reccomend this cabin to anyone of any age...Loved it..The Dempsey's

This was a family vacation in one of the best settings you could ask for. The place is secluded and has all the amenities you could possibly need. We had ten family members with us including us and our 10 month old Grandson on his first vacation. He is our first Grandchild and he had a blast. We canoed all over the Toccoa river as well as went on hikes visited several interesting areas went fishing and believe it or not relaxed a little. The porch on this cabin is wonderful and made what my Grandson thought was the largest playpen in the world! I can't say enough about what a great cabin this is or how easy and professional Lisa is to deal with. We will be going back without a doubt. Thank's for sharing you Mountain home with us Lisa! :-)

This home is even better than the pictures. Our three families have been vacationing together for 10 years, and this was easily the most enjoyable, relaxed gathering we've had. The large yard by the river is perfect for outdoor play, conversation and evening campfires. The two large decks gave the adults a separate outdoor area from the kids, allowing each to enjoy the beautiful views. The deer came to the front each night and our children enjoyed watching them play in the pasture. The kitchen had every convenience and the interior was comfortable and luxurious. The owners were very helpful and incredibly easy to work with. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this cabin. This is our 3rd year staying in Blue Ridge, and this was by far the best cabin we have stayed in. There is nothing like being on the river. The cabin was beautiful and had everything you could possibly want. Thank you to the owners for opening up your home and for being so helpful and patient with all our questions and last minute changes.

Our family, which includes Grandparents and 4 adults with 6 teenagers, had a wonderful stay at the Toccoa River Lodge. It was perfect for relaxing but also had plenty of things to keep the teenagers busy. The cabin was plenty roomy and was so nicely decorated. We enjoyed preparing meals and only ate out one time (Toccoa Riverside Restaurant). We mostly loved just hanging out in and by the river - what a perfect setting! It was truly much more than we expected when we made our reservation!

Being that I have returned to this rental for three straight years says everything. Not only are the owners the perfect host, but the accommodations and condition of the cabin are immaculate. The cabin is secluded and best of all, right on the rivers edge. I'm a avid kayak'er and the location of the cabin allows me to put in at the cabin and go down river or go up river and come down to the cabin. Feeding the deer every evening was a highlight for all, plus this year we saw wild turkey. Trout fishing is excellent, so maybe as I age,I'll enjoy fishing more. If you enjoy fresh air and the outdoors--this is your destination. My wife and I plan on returning for many years as long as the cabin is available to rent. I'm looking forward to next year already.

This vacation home was perfect! But, the owner has a VERY hard time returning your deposits to you. We left her home in better shape than we found it. And we are still waiting for some of our deposit money. I was reluctant to write this review, however, I believe at this point that this is the only way I can get her to respond to me and return my money as she does not answer emails and only answers when I post notes on this page as if inquiring about cabin rental information. I have rented five vactions homes around the country and this has NEVER happened to me before. Not very good on the business side.
Owner response:I'm sorry to see this on my website. I would never take a Customers deposit or would never not respond. More to the story!

Our year-end and New Year vacation was out of this world. The Toccoa River Lodge was so much more than we expected. The house, with its rustic décor and (and I mean ALL) all of its amenities, was exactly what we needed. The Master Bedroom has French doors to a balcony and the sound of the river just feet away was so very soothing and extremely relaxing. Our family, from us (the grandparents) to our grandkids, enjoyed the house and its surroundings incredibly. Thank you to the owners for opening your home to us and making it so special.

Our family reunion was wonderful, we hiked, played horseshoes, tubed down the river and had great fires with smores. We even saw a black bear The dogs loved all the smells. Your home helped to make all this possible. Thaks so much for all thought you put into your home, it made it feel like ours.

We loved our week here and will definitely return. Great owners. The house is fully loaded and perfectly maintained. The River is awesome. Go tubing, rafting, fishing, hiking and be sure to visit Merciers apple orchard to try the fried apple pie!

An hour and a half away from home, but felt like we had traveled much farther. We went nowhere else....there was no need to. We got much needed rest. The kids loved it. The dog loved it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dear Lisa & Wes Beautiful, Beautiful Lodge, Beautiful Weather & Beautiful surroundings. We were joined by 3 of our friends and we enjoyed all the amenities that the Toccoa River Lodge & the area have to offer. We went tubing , Had bonfires out back, hiked the App. Trail, Saw deer & ground hog around the house, enjoyed shopping in Blue Ridge, Took the scenic railway to McCayesville, ate at the Toccoa River Restaurant, Took in a Jacuzzi or 2, Played pool, Read, napped, fished & fished & fished. The leaves just began turning during our week here. Your home in the mountains has given us the enjoyment & clarity we were looking for, You have made it a warm & welcoming spot for all with all the comforts of home. It is indeed a very special place We thank you for letting us share in the beauty of the cabin & the area. We hope to be back soon. Thanks God Bless The Knapps

Beautiful cabin and nice owners. We had a great trip in this cabin, the cabin is fully stocked with all the essentials and then some. If you are considering a river cabin you won't go wrong with this one.
