Kingswood Village is conveniently located one mile from the lake for summer fun, and minutes from local ski areas.
In the warm weather, enjoy the swimming pool and wading pool, dry saunas, tennis courts and exercise room. In winter, ski at Northstar only 15 minutes away – there’s even a shuttle service that picks up in front of the complex on Highway 267. Shop for groceries at the close-by Safeway that’s open 24/7 (Starbucks in store). Wonderful restaurants and cafes are a short drive away, or stay home and grill on the deck.
This is a cozy, stylish condo with 3 bedrooms and a loft, redwood walls and knotty pine ceilings. Among all the quaint and authentic Tahoe touches, we have a new kitchen, two new baths, new carpet and drapes. There's granite and stainless and forged iron and everything is absolute first quality.
The first floor has two big bedrooms, each with queen beds. The rear bedroom has a private deck. There’s a double bath with tub/shower and toilet separated from the vanity area, so big groups can share the bathroom and still have privacy. The laundry area (with full size appliances) is also here.
The second floor is the main living area. There’s room for lounging and dining, with our fabulous new kitchen fully stocked with dishes, utensils, appliances, and even lots of cupboard staples. Also, behind the kitchen, there’s a second bathroom and a third queen-size bedroom. The living room has a Tahoe-style wood-burning fireplace w/ gas starter, cozy seating, and a new flat-screen TV and DVD player. There is also wireless internet.
On the adjoining deck, there’s a gas grill and a great view to the well-manicured lawns of Kingswood. The dining table seats 8 and there are also 3 barstools.
We have lots of board games and books. The loft has two twin beds and a small closet. It’s a perfect getaway for young folks who want some special away-space.
Besides being very well-appointed, the condo has a fabulous location. You’re minutes away from many beautiful public beaches, several great golf courses, Nevada Stateline, shopping, fine dining, and every variety of outdoor recreation.
Visit Truckee, Reno, Tahoe City, South Lake Tahoe – all within an easy drive.
You will love this spacious, tasteful home and want to return year after year.
We require a 3-night minimum, except Thanksgiving (4 nights) and Christmas (5 nights). The ski lease runs from Jan thru March, with an optional 1-month extension. Security deposit is $200 (for ski lease, $500). Security deposit is fully refundable if conditions warrant that. Cleaning fee is $100. When we arranged the rental of this property, our hope was that it would be as nice as the pictures looked. Usually, we find that photos enhance the appearance and the place is not what it seems. However, with this unit, the photos (although very nice) do not do the unit justice -- the condo is even more fabulous than the pictures reveal. We have never rented a vacation home so fully stocked with everything we needed. Silly us... based on prior experiences, we even brought some of our favorite pots and pans. Totally unnecessary since the condo had every type of cooking utensil we could possibly need...and then some. I hoped they would have a few basics, like salt and pepper in the cupboards. Imagine my delight when I opened a cupboard to find it stocked with all kinds of baking supplies, condiments, and spices galore! We hoped the condo would be comfortable for six adults, two small children, and two dogs. Again, it exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space, plenty of seating, and we never felt cramped, not even with several of us in the kitchen at the same time. With a large group, it was wonderful to have one of the bathrooms with the toilet and tub separate from the vanity area. Having a full size washer and dryer was fabulous, and the condo was well stocked with linens. Also, we appreciated having a keyless entry (opened with access code) so we didn't have to worry about making sure someone had a key every time we left for outings, especially if we went as separate groups. One of the main reasons we selected this condo was due to the quick responses to my initial inquiries, and helpfulness of the owners. We felt confident that if we had a problem, we would actually be able to contact them and get a response. Thankfully, we had no need to reach them since the condo exceeded our hopeful expectations!

Home away from home! This beautiful home made it possible to not want to leave. The location is great and the ammenities are perfect. There are great hiking trails right outside your door and located on a peaceful greenbelt. The townhome has a perfect location close to the beach and a short drive to Northstar Mountain. We wil recommend it to our friends.

You cannot ask for a better place for Northstar skiing. Out your door and in the NS lots in about 8 minutes! Go out the door and in the other direction, and you're about 2 minutes from Safeway and local restaurants. Aside from the great the location, the condo itself is modern and cozy at the same time. Everything is updated (the kitchen was the best part for me) and the place is fully stocked with the basics - linens, cookware, dishware, and the like. And to top it all off, the owners are super nice and accommodating. After looking at a number of listings, I can say that while it's easy to find a nice place to rent, sometimes you don't get much in the way of friendliness or flexibility. That is not the case at this condo. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This condo has the perfect location - a mile from the beach and a mile from the Tahoe Rim Trail trailhead. It's nice and quite, and even though the condo complex is large, it doesn't seem that way because there are so many trees. Kings Beach is a great location, with restaurants, rentals and beachs. The remodeled kitchen and bathrooms in the condo are really nice!

Thank you for letting us rent this beautiful unit. The remodeled kitchens and bathrooms are first class with granite countertops and tiled shower stalls giving the condo a "spa" like feel.
