Wonderful...what else can be said. My bride and myself spent ten great nights at Villa Allano. The Villa with its spectacular view of Cane Garden Bay and Jost Van Dyke ....oh my!! The villa itself is one of the best on the island and laid out so well how anyone could not have a constant smile on their face is beyond me. A un-believable view, three large bedrooms and a pool...the landscaping only added to the island ambiance. An ideal base for a Tortola and beyond adventure. Jost Van Dyke for the white sands of the aptly named White Bay and of course the Soggy Dollar Bar,a great time. Foxy's 'in town" a must see. The Baths at Virgin Gorda with its stunning rock display, nature working it hard..Tortola with all its charm including driving on the left side of the road with those switchbacks, adventure all to itself. Nice diving with Blue Water Divers at Nanny Cay. Do as much or little as you want to do. Some Tips: Smiths Ferry to/from St.Thomas Car rental-Jerry's at West End /four wheel drive a good idea for when it's wet on the switchbacks Blue Water Divers at Nanny's Cay Sugar Mill Resort for a drink, cool place Bananakeet for a sunset view and a Bananakeet A drive up and down the "Elevator" Stay out of Road Town on Friday's and cruise ship days Myets for drinks and food. The cracked conch is to die for, ate it four times... Bobby's in Cane Garden Bay for groceries, a decent selection. Dark and Stormy in case you never had one I could go on and on.... Also before I forget Cassandra and Kelvin are a great asset and Cassandra will check on you to make sure that everything is OK and they are good people for sure. Great place, great time, great people....how can you go wrong.... Highly recommend this Villa Ready to do it againRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The previous reviews are accurate: the pictures simply do not do this villa justice. Not only are the views spectacular from every room, but the attention to detail is incredible. I have stayed at many villas that boast of "attention to detail" but this villa really delivers. The kitchen is well-stocked and ready for meal preparation. The spacious tiled rain showers are wonderful. So unusual to truly have three master suites. The pool setting is magnificent and comfortable lounge chairs plentiful. And the views simply cannot be described, they must be experienced. We are ready to plan our next trip now!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is the easiest and most relaxing place to be. Do as much or as little as you please. I love spending a week and only bring a carry on. The house is most comfortable with three master bedrooms each with a full bath as well as a deck overlooking the Ocean. The view is spectacular from morning till night and the location is perfect. Nothing like taking a day to relax at Stanley's or hop a boat to Joyst Van Dyke. The Island is friendly and the house manager Cass, is a wealth of knowledge. The house is very well cared for. Jerry's car rental is the way to go and so is Villa Allano.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our stay at Villa Allano was paradise! The views and sunsets from the villa are spectacular and the villa was perfect. The villa had everything we needed, the master suites were spacious, comfortable and provided plenty of privacy. The pool was great, with beautiful cushioned teak loungers. Breakfasts and dinners were wonderful under the gazebo. We were only there a week but, will return without hesitation. A perfect home away from home. A perfect place for a vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Jeff and Colleen wanted to let you know what a great stay we had at your piece of Paradise. The view was amazing and having coffee on the outside terrace watching the Sailboats go in and our of the harbor was a rare treat ! The Villa is designed and equipped perfectly and having a pool at our fingertips to cool off in was wonderful. Loved your location, being so close to the beach and the great bars. We will be back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway

The pictures of the views from Villa Allano don't do it justice. The views are spectacular and there is a lot of opportunity to enjoy the views from both the main level and from the bedrooms upstairs. We spent morning and evenings taking in the views and relaxing. The villa was very comfortable and clean. It had all the amenities we needed. It is great that all 3 bedrooms are king suites. You don't find this in many villas and it makes it nice for couples that are traveling together to each get their own suite. The location of the villa is another great feature, just a short drive down to Cane Garden Bay. The roads are steep and in need of repair all over the island, but that just adds to the adventure. I would recommend getting a rental car. The owners and property manager were both great at answering all the questions we had prior to our arrival. We all fell in love with Tortola and plan on going back and would definitely choose Villa Allano to call our home for the week.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This home was everything and more than we thought it would be. Clean, neat, beautifully decorated, and with every amenity you could wish for. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The views were incredible. Waking up every morning to amazing water views, while sitting on the decks drinking coffee...........The bedrooms were spacious and it was wonderful for each room to have king size beds and their own beautiful, roomy baths. We enjoyed dinner with live music at Bannakeet. The Sugar Mill was very fancy with great service. Enjoyed Smuggler's Cove beach and so many other places! We loved exploring the island, but be warned, the roads are an adventure, narrow roads, steep with sharp turns and then add the mule, cows, and chickens.... Cass, the house manager was very kind and helpful. Certainly would recommend this vacation home to everyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This was a very special experience, and we look forward to returning. The house is comfortably elegant, with a well-equipped kitchen, perched high on the hillside for amazing views. Our bed was exquisitely comfortable. There were so many special memories: the glorious sunsets, followed by the twinkling lights on distant islands, the beautiful beaches, our sail to Norman Island to snorkel and see gorgeous fish, and my introduction to a concoction called a pain killer! I enjoyed finishing my book on the verandah and quietly painting some of the beautiful foliage of the island. Villa Allano offers a perfect Tortola experience.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege of staying in this beautiful house on this beautiful island. Out our window lies one of the most impressive and memorable views imaginable. We had the opportunity to explore on land and underwater, our family being avid divers. On both accords this is one of the most special places we have ever been. Your hospitality and Cass' constant care have made our experience beyond perfection. We hope to be back sometime soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

As someone who has traveled many times to wonderful beach destinations in Hawaii, Mexico, and Thailand, I can confidently say this was well worth the trip from San Francisco. Cane Garden Bay beach, hanging out at Stanley's, is the perfect place for a swim at any time. I also highly recommend sailing and snorkeling. Best of all, coming back to this gem of a house was nourishing, relaxing and a feast for the eyes. A tip for other guests: get to know Cass, the house manager. She's a wealth of information and can be a wonderful friend. I will happily tell all my friends about Villa Allano!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
