Three couples had the pleasure of enjoying this wonderful cabin for three days the second weekend in March 2012. It's proximity to Discovery Ski Area, Anaconda, and Phillipsburg made it a great stay for everyone, skiers and non-skiers alike. The access is excellent and the view of the lake spectacular. The cabin was well stocked with paper products, kitchen items, plenty of propane for grilling, and an abundance of fresh towels for showers and hot tub. We had fabulous weather and a great weekend. We will definitely return!

Great winter getaway

Our group of ten girlfriends just spent this weekend at Lakeview Log Cabin and had a wonderful time! The photos give a very accurate representation - clean, in good shape, roomy but still cozy, and with just about everything you could need. The cabin had more than enough space and beds for all of us (good beds!) and was perfect for what we wanted - an active winter long weekend. The cabin's layout allows room for everyone to hang out together or for people to find a quiet spot away from the group, and the bedrooms are on different levels, which is nice for a mix of early birds and night owls. The proximity to Discovery is great, and what a treat to finish a day of skiing and be just a few minutes' drive from a warm cabin and a hot tub. We x-country skied two days at Mt. Haggin, too, which was a bit of a drive, but apparently there is closer x-country at Discovery, too. I also REALLY appreciate that the owners were reachable for last-minute questions and gave us friendly phone tech support when we couldn't figure out how to connect our iPod to the stereo. We would definitely rent the cabin again, and I would enthusiastically recommend it to friends.

stayed for a week during hunting season. did not get to use the cabin as much as we would have liked. Perfect place. loved everything about it. will definately go back again soon.

House was beautiful, just as described, and the homeowner has thought of EVERYTHING to make your visit comfortable! Plenty of room for our party of 9, which included kids ages infant to teen. Lake is just a short trip down the hill, great for fishing. Fire restrictions prevented us from having a campfire in the firepit, but that was probably the biggest downside. Owners were very friendly, and prompt in answering questions. EXCELLENT value for the $$, we will visit again! THANKS!

WE HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE WEEK AT THIS CABIN, THERE IS A TON OF STUFF TO DO FROM THIS LOCATION. THE CABIN IS VERY WELL EQUIPED AND HAS EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED.

We had a great time in July at Lakeview Log Cabin! It was quiet and relaxing with all the comforts of home. The fire pit, pool table and music playing hot tub were big hits with the two teenage boys in tow and the fishing at Georgetown Lake was excellent!! The highlight of the stay was the visiting bear after the garbage truck came by!! It pretty much made our stay complete!! The sunsets over the lake visible from the deck were amazing!! The next time we come back to Montana (and we will) this home is at the top of our list!!! Thanks for sharing it with us!! My one suggestion: add a picture of the front of the home so it is easier to find the first time!!!

Our family stayed in this cabin and enjoyed every minute of it. It was fully stocked and we had plenty of room. The hot tub and pool table were huge hits. Our kids are asking when we can go back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Great extended family ski trip

What a great space we enjoyed with our family of 6 adults and 4 children aged 3-7. It was child friendly and generous and well maintained in it's accommodations and amenities. And the skiing was really great especially for mid-March. Thank you.

The "Cabin' is beautiful. It's more like a luxury home at the lake. My family and I met up there, and had a wonderful time. There is so much to do in the area, everyone was happy.

Cabin was clean, well-equipped and very nice with all the amenities of a primary household--including HDTV. And, aside from the woodstove, it's completely child-proof. I highly recommend this rental to anyone interested in staying minutes from the ski hill and the lake.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin had plenty of room for everyone as long as you don't mind sharing space. It was clean, the kitchen was great, and it had an amazing view. We would recommend a stay at the cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Lakeview Log Cabin. We comfortably fit 9 adults and two young children with ample room remaining. The entire cabin was very clean, comfortable, and kid-friendly. The open floor plan on the main level was great for just hanging out and relaxing. We would definitely reccomend it to anyone who would like to "get away from it all!"

Great place to stay in the Georgetown Lake area. Very convenient to Discovery and nice view of the lake. We enjoyed the pool table after a day of skiing. Clean and roomy.

Wow! I can't really put into words what an awesome time we had at Lakeview Log Cabin during the week of Christmas. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. Everything was so clean and we felt right at home!! It was especially cool to be able to walk out the front door and take off on my dads snowmobiles, no loading or unloading sleds. I would recomend this place to anyone, and hope we will have a chance to stay here again!! What a wonderful time of memories.

Although much of Montana was on fire during our three week stay it was still very enjoyable. Saw deer and a bear that loved the garbage can, besides the numerous squirrels. The view of the Lake was very nice. Since it was smoky the sunsets were unbelievable. Such a vibrant red. Thank you for the accommodations and the use of the boat slip. Jack & Lynn

The place was just beautifull,Clean Air and lush green plants and trees everywhere,saw a Moose and a Bear come through the front yard.The cabin itself is top notch, with plenty to do inside, We really loved the Pool Table.And the sleeping arrangements are family friendly with two bedrooms downstairs for those who want to go to bed early, and the loft for late risers. Can't say enough about it, it was GREAT!!!! Thanx

We loved the Cabin and the location. We saw lots of wildlife including 2 bear, a moose, and plenty of deer. The lake is beautiful. A great Montana experience.
