This charming and tranquil farmhouse built in 1850 is located on a one acre property a mere five minute walk from the center of Woodstock. The decorated Three Bedroom Main House features are quaint and appealing. The first floor living and dining areas are bathed in sunlight. Historic details include exposed wood beams, wide pine-wood floors, antique doors, exposed wood beams and a working fireplace. The kitchen is newly renovated. However, feel free to take advantage of the many wonderful restaurants available in Woodstock and the surrounding towns.
The location of this charming home is a great advantage. Take public transportation to Woodstock and avail yourself of the short walk from the town center. Bicycle rentals are also available within a five minute walk from the house. Or, if you wish, abandon your automobile once you arrive and experience this old world charm: inviting interiors, pool on the premises, luxurious furnishings, and tranquility.
The house has two dining areas, the fully stocked kitchen can seat up to six and the formal sun-drenched dining area includes a farm table that seats eight. Feel free to entertain or relax and enjoy this country retreat.

Our stay at this farm house which is situated on a dirt road within walking distance from the center of Woodstock was idyllic. The rustic charm and solitude of the house was complemented by the comfortable and tasteful furnishings. Even my 12-year-old daughter loved it! We both enjoyed hiking the trail (along a stream with an amazing mountian view) just 10 minutes from the house. And...being non-drivers, we were able to arrive by bus and have everything we needed within walking distance. Thank you again!
