Chocorua is 3,475 feet with steep, bald peaks and a valley lake that makes it a very picturesque site is the view from the chalet. Walk to the beach at the end of the street. A floating dock is a few yards from the beach. It is a favorite spot for some good old fashioned swimming hole dives and antics or just lying in the sun. We like to swim out to the dock after dark and watch for shooting stars. 2 kayaks located at the beach. Make friends in the playground next to the beach. Or you can explore the four other beaches available.
The adults can stay on the upper level and the kids stay in the lower level so you can sleep in late while the kids amuse themselves downstairs. You can also do some catching up with your mate. Don’t worry about phone bills as we have Local and Long Distance phone calls made in the Continental United States included. We also have Premium Cable TV for those days when you just need to rest. The upper level has its own entrance, three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a private bathroom for the master, full kitchen, family room and dining room .The lower level located down the stairs has its own entrance with big sliding glass doors, two bedrooms, bathroom, and family room. Both levels have an awesome view of the White Mountains.

Cook meals on the gas grill and dine casually as you watch the beautiful sunsets on the spacious deck. When its time for bed you will be put at ease with the beautiful hand painted murals that will make children feel comfortable in a new place. Before you turn in you can enjoy that drink on the deck under a romantic blanket of stars that shine ever so brightly high in the mountains and the real Milky Way is your dessert.
If you need a change of pace or there is a rainy day there is plenty to do. Drive over a classic the saco river wooden bridge into town. Kids and adults love this place. You are right next to North Conway with its shopping outlets. You can even go skating year round at the Ham Arena.The fishing in the area is world renowned for fly fishing with many beautiful streams rivers or you can just fish right here. All the Mount Washington Attractions are here. Mount Washington is the highest peak in the northeast. There is also many legends, history and you can even drive up the mountain or visit Story Land, and Santa’s Village or take a ride on an old time train at the restored Conway Scenic Train Ride located next to a large playground with sprinklers. You have to go to Attitash Alpine Slide its awesome Bring your laptop as the chalet has wireless super fast connection. The area also has numerous restaurants from fine dining to the chain restaurants. We have been coming to this area for years and always find something new to do. To get the kids tired out there are many hiking trails that have wonderful views and waterfalls. Take a scenic drive on the Kancamagas Scenic Highway to see moose and wildlife in their natural habitat.
When its time to go home you’ll leave rested and refreshed with the perfect vacation memory of the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

We just stayed at this home with 4 adults and 4 young children all 4 and under. This house itself is great. Large and clean. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. The downstairs has an air hockey table which is unfortunately not working. Big dissappointment as we felt it would be fun for our kids to play with. It has a large deck as pictured which we were able to gate off the stairway exit and the kids could play there. Otherwise the yard is not suitable we felt for young children to play in as it has rocky hills in the back and boulders that could pose a problem. We were really looking for something on the water or close to it. We were under the impression that the water was just at the "end of the road". It is but beware, with small children it poses a problem as the road is paved but is a very steep hill to walk down to the beach then back up. Our friend did it with his two kids and a stroller and found it very chanllenging. For us it involved packing all of the kids up in the vans with all of our gear on a daily basis and driving everywhere. That was not relaxing at all for us as that is what we do on a daily basis when we are not on vacation. Caution too, the water cannot be seen from the house which we were very dissappointed about as that is a major calming, peaceful and relaxing factor for us on vacation. There are two kayaks that are locked together under the deck at the house. We did not use them as it would be difficult to manage to carry them down then back up the hill. The owners should consider locking them up at the water side like so many other watercraft are. Bring ropes if you plan on tying them onto your vehicle to bring them to the water. Otherwise, the owners were very nice to deal with and were very responsive in terms of questions. We would recommend this property to families with older kids than ours. There is definately plenty to do in the area also as it is near North Conway.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
