This is a beautiful, custom log home right on the lake. It is located within the gated mountain log home community of Hidden Lake in McDowell County, NC. Home sits on the 10 acre fishing lake within the community, with a picnic table down at the waters edge. It is a short walk to the lakeside common area with pool overlooking the lake.

Home is tastefully decorated with log cabin furnishings that are both traditional and whimsical. It is 2 stories with the large master bedroom and bath on the main level. Guest accommodations and separate living areas are located on the lower level. All bedrooms have a view of the lake and open up to outdoor deck and patio space.

The main level features the stunning great room with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows looking out over the lake. The rocked gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the room. The dining room is adjacent and also overlooks the lake with seating for 6. The well designed kitchen offers everything needed for all your cooking desires. A center island offers additional seating for 4 more.

Master bedroom and bath are also on this level. The master bedroom is comfortably appointed with additional seating. The master bath offers a custom walk-in tiled shower with bench and plenty of room. A double vanity sink and Jacuzzi garden tub are here as well. A half bath and laundry facilities with washer and dryer round out the main level.

In the lower living area of the home is another rock fireplace, this one is wood burning and sits in the spacious living area also overlooking the lake with doors leading to the outside patio areas. A 2nd TV and entertainment center round out the room. One guest bedroom features a queen size log bed with adjoining bath that has a shower/tub unit and single vanity sink. The 2nd guest bedroom on this level has a bottom full size log bed with a single twin bunk bed above (great for those with children).

This home is fully stocked with all linens, towels, kitchen items, paper products, dish/laundry detergents and more! It has all the luxuries of being in your very own home and more!

Guests also have full use of all common areas within the community to include: lakeside boardwalk and dock for fishing (swimming in the lake is not permitted), seasonal inground pool and jetted spa that overlooks the lake, poolhouse with shower and bathroom facilities, picnic areas, grills, streamside park, and walking trails. Hidden Lake is approximately a 20 minute drive to Lake James State Park and many nearby activities.
