The unit was clean and had everything needed to do our own cooking. We appreciated the use of the tennis rackets in the unit for using the tennis courts on property. It was a nice area to enjoy some rides and walks and the beach. We visited the Planatation House restaurant and walked the coast trail near the Ritz Carlton. A great area to explore and enjoy!

We loved this condo. Everything we needed was there, and it was easy to keep the place tidy. Convenient location in West Maui for those who don't want to be right in the busy zone but still have access to lots of wonderful beaches (many within a couple minutes drive). Love the toy shed on the lanai, with racquets, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.. The condo was perfect for us.

best place to be in maui. close to tourists area, old lahaina luau and kaanapali beach is few minutes away. hands down the best beach for snorkeling. the house is fully stocked with all the item you could ever need for your stay. plenty of linens and towel for the whole family. the bathroom is equipped with jetted tub for those of you who need that extra bubbles. at the public area, your whole family can use the gas grill for free. the owner has a good selection of beach equipments, boogie board, set of snorkel gear, ice chest, and also umbrella and beach mats. Juan's hospitality is second to none, he helped us couple times when we needed the most. overall it was an excellent experience and we will definitely come back when we hit maui again. much mahalo.

Great Condo for what we needed

I really couldn't have asked for more especially for the great rate we got. The condo is just north of Lahaina. We were far enough to avoid the busyness of the shops/restaurants but close enough that it was not a hassle to jump in the car to get there. We were about 35-40 minutes from the Kahului airport depending on construction and traffic. Juan was great to work with throughout the booking process. He was responsive with all my questions and the payment process was quick. He provided all the details we needed to get to the condo. He also dropped by one night to give us some chocolate that he forgot to leave before we arrived. Just waiting now for the follow up on the deposit (it's only been 3 days) The condo was clean and ready for us when we got there. There was only three of us so we were definitely comfortable. I generally don't spend a lot of time inside when I'm vacationing so I think 5-6 people would be fine here. The only thing though is there is only 1 bathroom so it's something to consider. The condo had everything we needed for our 4-night stay including free parking. We did not use the pool there so I can't comment on that. The place was quiet for most of our stay. If you plan on spending a lot of time at the condo than the place might be a bit small. I'm a pretty easy and simple traveler, which is why the condo was perfect. I had a place to sleep, cook a bit, do laundry, and just wind down from the day. it was nice to go out to the lanai during the day. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE CONDO AND WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. Not so related to condo but might be helpful: Everything we needed was not far from us. The maui brewing company is right around the corner from the condo with great food and awesome beer. Aloha mixed plate and ululani shaved ice in lahaina is a must. The Foodland and Safeway are in Lahaina. Definitely stop by Foodland for some poke. If you plan on whale watching go with the Pacific Whale Foundation. It's a not-for-profit organization. the sunrise bike at Haleakala National Park is a must through Bike Maui as well as the road to hana. Don't miss out on the swap meet either. You'll definitely need a car and i recommend Discount Hawaii Car Rental the rate is so much cheaper! if you're looking for a meal before you head to the airport or right when you get there check out oyako tei.

Paradise not only for kids!

We stayed in Patti's condo for a week in May. This condo was just what I had had in mind for us when I was planning our Maui trip. What I did not want was a condo in one of the high rises right by the beach with just a balcony. I wanted my 3-year old to be able to safely run around outside. We found everything we were looking for in Patti's condo. The price was incredibly reasonable. The complex is very enclosed and perfect for kids. Our daughter made friends with the neighbors' children on the first day. Her favorite time of the day was playing in the big open area behind the lanai and the condo with her new friends. The condo had everything we were looking for. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was enough space for us five adults and a child. We found everything we needed for the beach and more in the outdoor storage cabinet. Communication with Patti, the owner, worked excellently by email. She was very quick to reply and made sure we had a good stay. We would definitely return to this place, I hope sooner rather than later. Mahalo!

We enjoyed our stay in a family oriented environment

We stayed in Patti's condo for a month and we found it exactly as advertised. The location is close to the beach and within minutes of Lahaina. During our stay, we visited many parts of the island and we could get everywhere easily. Patti was very attentive about answering our questions and she communicated with us by e-mail very quickly. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the condo and having a kitchen as well as the BBQ area which we used practically every day. It was very nice to be able to walk to the small shopping area as well as having a major groceries store within a few minutes drive. If you like golfing and snorkleling, this is a great location to use as your base. Some of the most beautiful golf courses are within 10 minutes drive and the snorkeling off Kaanapali beach is among the best. Thank you Patti for making sure that we would have a very good stay.

Lovely, kid-friendly condo in a great area!

This was the perfect condo for us -- within minutes my two kids were off playing with all the neighbor kids in the big grassy, beautifully maintained common yard. The complex was like a park, and we loved the pools as well. The condo had everything we needed -- boogie boards, snorkels, towels etc. etc. Plus the kitchen was great and enabled us to eat breakfast and dinner in most of the time. The owners are very helpful and responsive. This location is about 10 minutes north of Lahaina, for easy access to town, shopping, restaurants, and various beaches in the area. The complex was completely silent at night. I can't wait to go back!

I'd definitely stay at the Green Condo again in the future

We started off our stay in the Green Condo on Christmas Day 2010. We were impressed as soon as we opened the door. When we got back from checking out the local beaches, one of my kids went to take a shower but there was no hot water. At that same time, Patti called to tell me that her cleaners had just informed her that the hot water was out. Since it was Christmas, there wasn't any way to get this fixed. Patti had a plumber come out the following day (special Sunday service). The plumbing company sent out an incompetent plumber but Patti was eventually able request a competent plumber who came out and installed a brand new water heater, but that was 4 days into our trip. That same day, Patti offered to get us passes to a local athletic club if the problem persisted. If it weren't for this water heater problem which was pretty much out of the owner's hands, my rating would have been 5 stars. Side note: I wouldn't recommend that plumbing company. The good news is others shouldn't have to worry about this for another 10 years!! Patti did refund us some for the inconvenience which we appreciated. There were six of us who stayed - my wife & I and our 4 mostly grown up kids. It was fairly cramped at bed time when we pulled out the sofa bed, but otherwise there was ample space. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to have A/C to get to sleep. The remodeled kitchen was very nice with a full-size fridge & dishwasher. There weren't enough bowls to go around however - but definitely enough plates, glasses & silverware. We grilled out in the back yard nearly every night which was awesome. We found the lanai to be a bit small for the size table that is out there - there wasn't enough room to sit on one side without the chairs being off the concrete and on the grass which was a few inches lower. Nice view for sure though!! If you're staying at the condo, make sure you look at all the stuff in the cabinet out on the lanai. We used the cooler every day at the beaches. We also used the boogie boards (we also bought 3 additional ones which we left there). What we didn't really notice until we were putting everything back on our last day were some nice beach mats. The condo isn't on a beach & isn't within walking distance of any beach we preferred. We didn't spend more than one day at any beach so I'm not sure staying on any beach is all that beneficial. There are good beaches to the north, and even better to the south.

We stayed at this condo over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time! The unit was very nice& we were very impressed by the updated kitchen! The condo is in a great area and provided us the opportunity to walk across the street to access the beach. The upstairs neighbors were a little loud ( not sure if they realized we were downstairs!) but overall, our stay at the condo was ideal and we would definitely come back on our next trip to Maui!

We had a wonderful stay. Not right on the beach, but close enough to walk. Extremely friendly neighbors but the parking is a little confusing. Owners were wonderful to work with. Great for a family with small children ( we didn't have any in our party but with the lawn it would be awesome!) Came with great cabinet of beach toys and lawn chairs. Very Clean....

This place was great! All of amenities we were looking for and the location was close to many things. The laundry and kitchen proved to be the biggest assets with a little guy in tow.(15 months) There was a large grassy area for him to play in and it felt like we were just part of the community of residents. Juan was very responsive when we had questions or concerns. Our only issue was the parking lot being repaved during our stay which made for quite a trek to get to our cars. Obviously this was a unique situation, but the only thing that made it less than excellent. All in all, we would definitely stay again and feel like we got great value for the price. Thanks Juan and Patti for making our stay so comfortable!

We had a fantastic time at this condo. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We were close to everything. And the kitchen is fantastic.The pictures don't really do it justice. I appreciate that recycling is encouraged and that the bathroom is stocked with the greatest bamboo towels! The washer and dryer was a huge plus also as it saved me from doing a ton of laundry when I got home! The condo was peaceful and relaxing and the rental process was a breeze. Thanks Patricia for sharing your lovely home with us. We would definitely recommend this place and will defintely stay with you again when we return!

Our family took three children and three adults to the Green Condo on Maui at Kahana. We had a wonderful time. The kitchen is very nicely updated and fully functional. The bedrooms are very quiet and we all had restful nights. The property seems to be over 90% full-time residents so it is very quiet and well-kept. The large pool was beautiful, very clean, and great fun for the kids. The condo is located in Kahana, a very short drive from Napili, Kapalua and Kaanapali. Lahaina is only about 15 minutes south as well. What a great find and a great value! We would definitely rent again. Thanks, Juan, for taking good care of us!

So clean, so convenient. A kitchen any chef would want, and eating outside watching the birds (which are not annoying) was perfect. We were only two, but extra persons in the additional bedroom would not be crowded at all. There was a terrific downpour one day, all day. So we just went up to video store near the Times, rented movies, and snuggled in to our cozy condo. We were going to grab take-out at the neighborhood (walking distance) China ??? But the ambiance there was just right for a rainy evening, so we ate there. Really nice, homey condo.

A most pleasant experience in No. 152. So convenient to have your parking place right next to the condo - luggage move-in was easy. Very clean and the remodeled kitchen was exceptional. We used the communal barbeque and met others from the complex while there. The extras for the beach were a welcome surprise, ice chest, sand chairs, beach mats and more, and all were used. Not beach front, but each evening we could cross the road and watch the susnset over Lanai. Location was perfect - just up the road to Napili and Kapalua, or down the road to Kaanapali and Lahaina. We recommend highly.

Loved it! Our family stayed over Christmas 2009 and all of the amenities in the property and in the unit made for a kid-friendly and relaxing holiday for us all. We appreciated the quiet grounds and well-stocked kitchen (and the macadamia treats!) We enjoyed walking to Kahana Beach across the road but were close to other favorites like Lahaina and Napili Bay. We also had a wonderful time in your quiet condo in Maui. We found that the accommodations-- kitchen, bath, beds & bbq perfectly met the need of our family of four. We especially liked having the use of beach chairs and ice chest for our daily outings. A highlight was a trip up to Roy's for dinner--outstanding!! Our only wish would be for better lighting for reading at night in the living area.

We stayed at the condo in Kahana last month and had a great time. We stayed half of our time in Kihei and half at this great condo in Kahana. I loved this condo. It was affordable but really nice with a great updated kitchen and awesome tradewinds blowing thru for that wonderful tropical experience. We also loved the complex. We really enjoyed the two swimming pools, the friendly people, the mango trees and the kids took up tennis while we were there. We also made use of the barbecue facilities most nights but also walked up to the Brewhouse restaurant right around the corner one night. We had a great time at your condo. We tried to make plans to come back for Christmas but the place was already rented out. Thank you, we had a wonderful vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at the 2 bed, 1 bath condo in Kahana. It was clean and quiet and looked out on a garden area that was kept up. The full kitchen made our stay more economical. The table outside was where we ate most of our meals because it was peaceful. The grounds are kept up daily. The condo had boogie boards, beach toys, towels and chairs which made our travel easier. The condo is fairly close to Lahaina, Napili and Honolua Bay with great snorkeling. We would easily consider staying here again.

We had a great stay at the Green Condo. It was a beautiful quiet location and a fine accomodation. We especially appreciated the filtered water and ice machine in the refrigerator. This property is highly recommended by us. The next time we travel to Maui we hope to stay in this condo again. Hopefully by then the mirrors that are in the closets will be installed.

WE stayed in condo #152 and were very pleased with everything in the condo. It was super clean and comfortable. WE have a 5 year old and he loved the big open space in the back yard and found it to be very kid friendly -meeting other kids who lived in the condo complex. Thank you for all the extras you make available- boogie boards, sand toys, chairs and tennis raquets. We took advantage of all of them, it was a real bonus! We visited friends in neighboring complexes (Kapalua and Kaanapali) and found them to be a bit too stuffy so we were even more thrilled with our choice. When we walked in the door after a 22 hour plane trip, what a pleasant and welcome surprise for renting a place we had never seen! Totally spotless, wonderful laminate floors, granite countertops in a great kitchen. The kitchen is well-stocked with plate and utensils. In the bathroom with a lovely sink with stone top--SOFT bamboo towels are another unexpected luxury. While the pool was too cold now, the beach is close. MANY are just a short drive away and this is in a wonderful area of West Maui- location,location and for an affordable price. The patio is perfect for meals at home and we used the communal grill several times. Lovely landscaping throuhgout the complex. This unit is detached with only one upstairs unit above. They even had a welcome surprise-nice touch. Defintely recommend to others.

Thank you so much! we had a wonderful time in Maui and the condo was perfect for us. This is a great place to take a special someone or your familiy! there were toys for the kids and even other kids in the same complex that my kids played with. Nicely updated and even left us a box of chocoalte macademia nuts for us, yummy my favorite! The condo is in a great location, close to the front entrance and clubhouse and pool!!! easy access to the highway and the beach and seriously just 10-15 mins from Lahaina!!! thanks again we really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommed this to everyone! the renters are very helpful and easy going.

Pohailani Maui Condo #152 was a very nice, upgraded and comfortable condo. Juan and Patty were so easy to work with. Everything in the condo was upscale and made you feel like you were in your own home. And they are right when they say its not like staying in a high rise condo or hotel room that look like all the rest. The complex was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing and eating out on the lanai most evenings was beautiful. I recommend anyone to stay as I will stay again should I return to Maui

I was a little hesitant about going to one of the smaller condos instead of the more popular high rise condos. Condo #152 at Pohlaini was very well kept. It was large enough for my wife and I plus our four kids. Everything was very clean. We used the grill in the courtyard a couple of times which was convenient. It was close enough to the ocean although not right on it. That did not matter much since we visited the more well knowned beaches anyway, all within 5 to 30 minutes. We are happy to add our comments for your guest book. Our stay in maui was perfect, very much in part because we so enjoyed staying at your condo. It was perfect. Nicely furnished and very up to date. We loved the quiet, the beautiful grassy court yard and barbaque facilities. The location was great and especially enjoyed the close proximity to a lovely marine reserve. A great value and nice interactions with the owner were icing on the cake.

This place was great!! everything my husband and our two kids needed for 5 nights in april. Very very clean. Outdoor area was perfect for the kids to run around on, the bbq was great,the pool nice and good location. would definately stay here again!!

Nice place- we stayed here after staying at the Ritz in Kapalua. I liked the more relaxed atmosphere there, the courtyard was great, had it's own parking space for the rental. Nice kitchen and bath. The only complaint I had was the upstairs neighbor was a little loud, but I would definitely stay there again. Much better value than I could find in Kihei and Kahana is definitely better than staying in Kihei.

We, my mom, my two children (4 and 1), and I stayed here for 16 days this February. Everything was perfect! It was great to be able to wake and cook breakfast, rather than having to dress everyone and drag them out. The kids LOVED to play in the area in front of the lanai and did so every night. Our biggest decision was always pool or beach? Once the decision was made, the condo came equipped with everything you'd need; beach chairs, towels, buckets, even a boogie board! It was great. We would definitely stay there again. And the neighbors were super friendly; yet another plus!

Number 152 is cozy and convenient to West Maui. I like that it's way from the bustle of the resorts but still has everything we needed for the most comfortable of stays and was very close to everything we wanted to do. We wouldn't hesitate to book again! Thank you.

We loved this place. It had everything we needed, especially for kids and for cooking, etc. Maui is expensive, so it was nice to save money on the place and the stuff it provided, like the boogie boards, goggles, sand toys, small cooler, beach towels, washer and dryer. Highly recommend this place, and would stay again.

Pohailani Condo 152 was AWESOME!!! The condo made our week stay a relaxing and pleasant one. Kahana was a great location, midway to many sights. A real home away from home. The condo provided all the amenities and more that made our trip to Maui convenient and hassle-free. I will recommend this property to friends and family traveling. A vacation in Maui is exactly what we needed. The only suggestion I may have is to add full-length mirrors in the bedrooms otherwise,Thumbs up!

We loved your condo; it was perfect for the four of us. The furniture was beautiful and the appliances updated. I loved watching the birds every morning from the lanai. The complex was quiet, yet not too far away from Lahaina. We are already planning a return trip and will definately stay in your condo again. Sheryl, Sharon, Susan and Nina

Owner response:Sheryl stayed with us again in February and, since the web site only allows one comment per guest, I am quoting what she said in an email to me (Patti, owner) "I am very happy that your condo was available for our upcoming August trip. We went back to Maui at the end of January and your condo was already booked. We stayed in a condo in Kaanapali which reminded me of a motel. It had two floors and all the units were attached. And even though it was the same number of bedrooms and baths, it was smaller in size. It also had ants, didn't have containers for leftovers and the frig made noise. It didn't have a lanai, which we really missed because it is nice to leave the scuba gear outside to dry. There was a b-b-q, but you had to provide your own charcoal. We loved the fact that the b-b-q at your condo had piped in gas, which was very convenient. We were spoiled by your condo!" Sheryl

We had a wonderful time staying in your condo. Kahana is a great location for relaxing without all of the hustle and bustle of, but close enough to Lahaina. The condo was very clean and had all of the amenities of home. It made packing extremely easy. The pool was always quiet and that is where we spent a lot of our time. We were in walking distance to resturaunts, coffee shops, and the beach. Thanks for making us feel so at home. We had a wonderful time and would definately recommend it to our friends.
