We invite you to experience Central Oregon at its best when you treat yourself to a getaway in our chalet located at Eagle Crest Resort near Redmond, Oregon. Whether it’s a family vacation or cozy retreat that you are looking for, you will be sure to find everything that you desire in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1400 square foot home.
Our home showcases tastefully chosen furnishings , and is decorated with the rich flavor of the Pacific Northwest with slate accents throughout. The knotty pine woodwork and log beams bring a warm and authentic Central Oregon feel. This chalet will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. Upstairs in the master suite you will find a hand crafted king-sized log bed. Put your feet up and relax in the cozy chocolate brown chair in this oversized suite. Enjoy the double sinks with separate shower room in the master bath. Use the upstairs loft that overlooks the full wall of windows as another sleeping quarter. The loft has a sage green, queen pull-out sleeper sofa. Or use the loft area to read a cherished book or watch an old favorite on TV.
Downstairs you will find an open floor plan with living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals or just brew a fresh pot of coffee. Enjoy a meal with the family while gathered around the slate topped over sized dining table. Or just hang out relaxing in the living room on the cozy micro fiber furniture while you watch TV or play a game. Also downstairs you will find a bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom features a queen sized lodge pole pine bed with matching décor. The other bedroom is home to a set of bunk beds, perfect for the kids, but practical enough for adults.
Sure to be one of your favorite features of this inviting home is the extra large deck just off the living area. While lounging on the patio furniture, you will be treated to a symphony of the senses. Enjoy one of central Oregon’s 300 days a year of sunshine from the deck of the chalet. Gaze at the pond in the middle of the grassy commons area while you listen to the bubbling of the stream that feeds the pond where wildlife make their home. In the evening, take a relaxing break in the private hot tub on the deck and watch the stars sparkle in the crisp cool night.
For a family centered vacation, our chalet at Eagle Crest is the perfect spot. We have stocked the chalet with plenty of games, books, magazines, and toys. Up stairs in the loft the whole family will enjoy the 10 in 1 game table with games such as air hockey, foosball, billiards, and much more. The kids will enjoy sleeping in the bunk beds, equipped with a rail on the top. We also have a high chair/booster seat, portable crib, safety gate, and dishes for children. Spend the afternoon with the kids at one of two playgrounds located at the resort. After an evening BBQ, sit out on the deck and watch the kids play in the grassy commons area, or cozy up in front of one of the four TV’s and watch one of the many DVDs from the collection in the chalet. We also offer FREE WIRELESS INTERNET in the chalet. Just bring your laptop.
Eagle Crest offers a variety of activities for people with varied interests. As our guest, you will have the benefits of free access (FOR UP TO 6 GUESTS) to any of the four pool areas, fitness centers, tennis courts, bike trails and recreation center. Additionally, you are eligible for discounted rates at the resort’s three golf courses and putting course.
The spring time in Central Oregon provides a variety of weather, and recreational opportunities. It is a perfect time to venture out on some of Central Oregon’s hiking trails. Don’t forget to check out the rock climbing at Smith Rock, only 15 miles away. Take advantage of the areas spring events and festivals including Pole, Peddle, Paddle, and Balloons over Bend. The area has an abundance of art galleries and shops for those interested in just looking or even buying. Head to Sisters, Bend, or Redmond for truly unique gallery and shopping experiences. Spring time golf at Eagle Crest is always a great way to spend a day dusting off those clubs that have been stored away for the winter. After a day of activities, return to our chalet at Eagle Crest where you can BBQ on the deck and visit your day. Then, relax in the private hot tub and marvel and the brilliant Central Oregon night sky. Finally, settle down in front of the fire and plan your next day‘s adventures.
A summer vacation at Eagle Crest will be one that you remember year round. Take advantage of the hot sunny days by lounging at one of the four resort pools. You might also want to hop on the bikes and tour the resort by riding on Eagle Crest’s 14+ miles of paved bike trails. Of course you will want to indulge your golfing need by playing one of Eagle Crest’s 3 golf courses or the family putting course. Venture away from the resort to check out one of the many special festivals and events in the area such as the Sister’s Rodeo, Sister’s Quilt Show, or the Bite of Bend. There are many music festivals and events planned during the summer in Central Oregon also. In the evening check out one of the unique outdoor dining venues in Bend, just 10 miles away. Took the family here for part of Spring Break. The home was such a wonderful refuge. All three of my kids enjoyed themselves immensely. The house was very comfortable and lovely. Much time was spent just sitting on the deck bird watching, reading and decompressing. We spent a lot of time at the various amenities that Eagle Crest offers too. The owners were wonderful. We made it nearly to Government Camp and I realized I forgot the instructions to how to get into the house. The owner was gracious and emailed me those directions to my phone and we saved two hours of driving home and back. Thank you. The kitchen was so comfortable we ended up cooking in most of the meals. However, we went to a lovely BBQ in Redmond called Baldy's. It was wonderful and accommodating. (They're right by the Freddy's in town.) We'll likely to come back. I cannot recommend this rental home enough. My daughter, her best friend, myself and another family shared this place for 5 days of comfort and fun. The home itself has everything you need from a well equiped kitchen, comfortable/quality linens, a fantastic deck with bbq and hottub as well as games for family time in the evening. We were close by to most everything we wanted to do at the resort, the pool for the kids, the fitness center and golf courses for myself, as well as some really fantastic hikes. Shannon was a great landlord. Easy to deal with and set up the rental, highly responsive and she also had some great recommendations as to local restaurants and things to do. -An overall superior experience, well worth the time and cost. Warm and wonderful, very inviting and easy, many games, movies and even a nice pool table....Nicely furnished with everything you'll for you and your family. You will find the owner Shannon and her husband easy to deal with, honest forthright and very open to making your stay a successful one. Stayed over President's day weekend. The Chalet was even better than the pictures show on VRBO. Plenty of room and activities for 4 kids, while adults relax! Well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies like being at home. Hot tub was great and just a short drive to golf and swim center. Could have walked to those places but a little too cold outside during our stay, easy walk or bike ride in summer though. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Booking was easy and the owner was great to work with handling the financial transaction. We just completed a 3 day stay at this chalet with our 2 children. We had an amazing time. Everything in the chalet that you might need for your stay is there. They have thought of everything. The chalet was so cozy and full of activates for the kids that we rarely left to go do anything else. The kids watched movies from the video library in the upstairs loft and played over and over again on the game table. Their favorite was the air hockey, but they enjoyed the table soccer and billiards too. Booking this chalet was very easy and straight forward and the owner was quick to answer any questions we had. What a great way to spend our time in Central Oregon! From the first correspondence with Shannon to the last, every bit of communication was prompt and detailed. The chalet is immaculate, cozy, private and in a great location. Coffee in the morning on the deck was wonderful to ending the evening in the hot tub. Wi-fi works excellent, TV selection great with DVD players. Love the layout and home feeling! The Eagle Crest area is simply wonderful and choosing to stay in a home rather than hotel was the best decision we made! Looking forward to returning next summer ! The Eagle Crest Nest was the perfect rental for my sisters retreat! 3 bedrooms (one with a huge King bed, one queen and one bunk with full). The home is located within walking distance to the pool and golf course. The pond and babbling creek in the back create a great environment. The hot tub was a great feature along with the bikes and helmets. The owners are very nice, easy to work with and keep the home in great shape! ?Did you find this review helpful? We had a wonderful time during our Spring Break stay at this chalet at Eagle Crest. The home was lovely, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. I visited with my 12-year-old son. We shared the rental with another mom and her son. The boys enjoyed the bedroom with the bunk beds. I felt very spoiled staying in the pretty, peaceful master bedroom, and my friend was also comfortable in the other bedroom downstairs. We all enjoyed the hot tub! The chalet was not too far from the Sports Center. The boys were able to walk down there by themselves and play basketball in the indoor gym. We swam in the indoor pool at the Sports Center. We played mini-pool on the game table in the loft upstairs. We went to the movies in Redmond and inner-tubing on Mount Bachelor. Redmond is quite close, and the drive to Bend and Mount Bachelor was very manageable. All in all, it was a great trip! Fantastic stay at Eagle Crest over New Years weekend. The Chalet was just as expected from the photo's viewed online. Very well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable beds and sleeping arrangements for 2 families. Love loved the on site hot tub (not all rentals have this feature). About the owner: We are your typical All-American family: Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter, and 1 dog. Brian owns and operates our family wood products business and Shannon is a teacher. Alexis is 7 and Brandon is 6...both with boundless energy and laughter every day. We enjoy spending time with each other as a family more than any other activity. We especially cherish our time together at Eagle Crest.
