We invite you to experience Central Oregon at its best when you treat yourself to a getaway in our chalet located at Eagle Crest Resort near Redmond, Oregon. Whether it’s a family vacation or cozy retreat that you are looking for, you will be sure to find everything that you desire in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1400 square foot home.
Our home showcases brand new furniture (furnished in 2007), and is decorated with the rich flavor of the Pacific Northwest with slate accents throughout. The knotty pine woodwork and log beams bring a warm and authentic Central Oregon feel. This chalet will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. Upstairs in the master suite you will find a hand crafted king-sized log bed. Put your feet up and relax in the cozy chocolate brown chair in this oversized suite. Enjoy the double sinks with separate shower room in the master bath. Use the upstairs loft that overlooks the full wall of windows as another sleeping quarter. The loft has a sage green, queen pull-out sleeper sofa. Or use the loft area to read a cherished book or watch an old favorite on TV.
Downstairs you will find an open floor plan with living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals or just brew a fresh pot of coffee. Enjoy a meal with the family while gathered around the slate topped over sized dining table. Or just hang out relaxing in the living room on the cozy micro fiber furniture while you watch TV or play a game. Also downstairs you will find a bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom features a queen sized lodge pole pine bed with matching décor. The other bedroom is home to a set of bunk beds, perfect for the kids, but practical enough for adults.
Sure to be one of your favorite features of this inviting home is the extra large deck just off the living area. While lounging on the patio furniture, you will be treated to a symphony of the senses. Enjoy one of central Oregon’s 300 days a year of sunshine from the deck of the chalet. Gaze at the pond in the middle of the grassy commons area while you listen to the bubbling of the stream that feeds the pond where wildlife make their home. In the evening, take a relaxing break in the private hot tub on the deck and watch the stars sparkle in the crisp cool night.
For a family centered vacation, our chalet at Eagle Crest is the perfect spot. We have stocked the chalet with plenty of games, books, magazines, and toys. Up stairs in the loft the whole family will enjoy the 10 in 1 game table with games such as air hockey, foosball, billiards, and much more. The kids will enjoy sleeping in the bunk beds, equipped with a rail on the top. We also have a high chair/booster seat, portable crib, safety gate, and dishes for children. Spend the afternoon with the kids at one of two playgrounds located at the resort. After an evening BBQ, sit out on the deck and watch the kids play in the grassy commons area, or cozy up in front of one of the four TV’s and watch one of the many DVDs from the collection in the chalet. We also offer FREE WIRELESS INTERNET in the chalet. Just bring your laptop.
Eagle Crest offers a variety of activities for people with varied interests. As our guest, you will have the benefits of free access to any of the four pool areas, fitness centers, tennis courts, bike trails and recreation center. Additionally, you are eligible for discounted rates at the resort’s three golf courses and putting course.
The spring time in Central Oregon provides a variety of weather, and recreational opportunities. It is a perfect time to venture out on some of Central Oregon’s hiking trails. Don’t forget to check out the rock climbing at Smith Rock, only 15 miles away. Take advantage of the areas spring events and festivals including Pole, Peddle, Paddle, and Balloons over Bend. The area has an abundance of art galleries and shops for those interested in just looking or even buying. Head to Sisters, Bend, or Redmond for truly unique gallery and shopping experiences. Spring time golf at Eagle Crest is always a great way to spend a day dusting off those clubs that have been stored away for the winter. After a day of activities, return to our chalet at Eagle Crest where you can BBQ on the deck and visit your day. Then, relax in the private hot tub and marvel and the brilliant Central Oregon night sky. Finally, settle down in front of the fire and plan your next day‘s adventures.
A summer vacation at Eagle Crest will be one that you remember year round. Take advantage of the hot sunny days by lounging at one of the four resort pools. You might also want to hop on the bikes and tour the resort by riding on Eagle Crest’s 14+ miles of paved bike trails. Of course you will want to indulge your golfing need by playing one of Eagle Crest’s 3 golf courses or the family putting course. Venture away from the resort to check out one of the many special festivals and events in the area such as the Sister’s Rodeo, Sister’s Quilt Show, or the Bite of Bend. There are many music festivals and events planned during the summer in Central Oregon also. In the evening check out one of the unique outdoor dining venues in Bend, just 10 miles away. Or return to the chalet for a BBQ on the deck. End your evening winding down while relaxing in the private hot tub and making plans for your next day’s adventures.
