Cripple Creek Mountain Ranch & Vineyard is a magnificent hilltop property centrally located between the Paso Robles, Atascadero and Templeton wineries and only 30 minutes away from the wonderful wineries surrounding San Luis Obispo.

This property is ideal for corporate executive retreats, small intimate weddings or receptions, or for those wine enthusiasts interested in sharing the cost of a large, beautiful home and property by bringing a group of 4 - 5 couples (up to 7 couples if the cottage is rented also).

There is a main house as well as a cottage. The main house is a comfortable 3,500 sf (maximum occupancy is up to 10 adults for the main house). Each room is decorated with a country theme that is both quaint and inviting.

The separate, charming 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cottage is available to rent for 1 to 2 couples for a private romantic getaway or for groups exceeding the capacity of the main house (between 11 and 14 people).

This property is also wonderful for small family reunions or accomodations for nearby weddings.

The Central Coast rivals the Napa Valley featuring more than 100 wineries and vineyards in the region noted for their excellence in quality (this region is approximately 10 times the size of Napa).

On almost any given weekend one can find activities such as wine tastings and festivals, biking events, rodeos, and the famous Mid-State Fair.

Cripple Creek Mountain Ranch is a working ranch with a young vineyard and fruit trees, gardens (both flower and vegetable), and various livestock including 2 donkeys, 4 lambs, a llama, chickens, roosters, bunnies, etc. Therefore, we require daily access to the back yard of the main home for animal feedings (lamb and chicken corral is located at lower end of the 2-acrea back yard), checking pool and spa chemicals, and watering and maintaining the vineyard and gardens.

At any one time during the summer you might be able to walk out to the gardens and pick peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, apples, watermelon, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and GRAPES!! Fresh eggs are also offered when available.

Cripple Creek Mountain Ranch & Vineyard is great fun for families with children as well as adults who appreciate the sweeping vistas and the intrigue of a young vineyard sloping down off the pool and entertaining areas.

Relax, away from it all, at this very magical place!

  • Beautiful 13 acre hilltop ranch overlooking 4 separate valleys with views of vineyards, thoroughbred breeding ranch, Huer Huero River, Pozo and much more. Spacious 3,500 sf house is a 2-story country home with wrap-around porch. Ground floor features a 500 sf country kitchen with fabulous views, a 300 sf family room with massive wood fireplace and 62" projection screen t.v., a 300 sf game room with foosball table, den, sitting parlor with an organ, laundry room and half bath. Upstairs features 4 bedrooms, one en-suite master bath with jacuzzi tub and one public bath. Master bedroom is approximately 650 sf with sweeping views of the valleys below. The other 3 bedrooms range in size from 250 to 300 sf, all with views. Large patio and decks outside the kitchen with pool and Jacuzzi overlooking the valleys and a young on-site vineyard.

  • The ranch has a small (220 vines) vineyard sloping down off of the pool. This year (2009) we had our first harvest and crush. The cabernet grown right here is going to be spectacular. It should be ready for consumption by summer of 2011 and visitors will receive a complimentary bottle or two!
