Light-filled villa with marble floors and counters is just as spectacular inside as the view of the turquoise Caribbean and palm trees is through walls of glass.
All bedrooms have ocean view with blackout drapes for late risers. Mattresses and furnishings are top of the line with comfort and luxury in mind.
Separate controls for air-conditioning and ceiling fans in each room. Window and door screens if you prefer the Caribbean breezes.
TV in each bedroom as well as 42" in living room, with 2 DVD players and small library of DVD's and books for your enjoyment. Satellite t.v. with 197 channels in living room and master bedroom.
Use your private stairway from the terrace to the beach. Stroll along the sand to the Omni Hotel. Eat lunch at their spectacular ocean-front restaurant or beach bar. Rent snorkel equipment or take dive lessons and arrange scuba trips at Dive Aventuras which is located at the end of the hotel's swimming pool. Enter the lobby to visit the Paradise Tour desk and sign up for group or private tours to Xcaret, Xel Ha, Tulum, Chichen Itza, and any other Maya Riviera site. You can book airport transfers with them at paradisetours.info for your entire party, or just the two of you.
Cross the street from the Omni to the town center with public marina, restaurants, souvenir shops, dolphin swim, internet cafes, and small groceries. Feed the Manatees and Seals. Swim with the Dolphins and purchase professional photos of the experience. Charter a sportsfishing trip at Capt.Rick's Sportsfishing Center. Taxis are located nearby for quick trips to Playa del Carmen and the ferry to Cozumel.
Be sure to shop La Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue) for Mexican souvenirs and great open-air dining in Playa. Enjoy the strolling Mariachis or other live music while having a cold drink. A very relaxing way to spend at least one evening during your visit.
A short walk along surface streets, past the new private marina where you can arrange a catamaran excursion, takes you back to enjoy the rest of your day at VDM II #201. Margarita, anyone?

- Amenities
- Air Conditioning: Separate controls for each room. Program each as desired. Help us maintain our low rental rates by raising the temperature of unused rooms. You can quickly cool them down again when you return to the condo. Electric rates are unusually high in Mexico and costs will have to be shared by renters if you do not help us to conserve on useage.
- Washer: Located within the half-bath.

- Linens Provided: Beach towels are provided for each guest. Bed linens are 400+ thread count. Linens and towels are homeowners', not a linen service of lesser quality.

- Private Hot Tub: Tiled, jetted tub on terrace for alfresco bathing. Second floor location provides privacy. Not to be operated after 11:00 p.m. per HOA rules.
- Shared Pool: Lounges, tables w/umbrellas for shade around beach-entry pool which was designed for lap-swimming, as well as just floating around and enjoying the warm water.Out of courtesy to others, there is no rough-housing or "chicken fighting" allowed in pool. No swimming between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. No excessive noise after 8:00 pm. Music w/headphones, only. Please do not place lounges or chairs in pool.
- Kitchen
- Full Kitchen: All the cookware and dishes you could need. Placemats, candles, napkin rings and cloth napkins for that special meal.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: Slow cooker, indoor grill, and casseroles as well as pots and pans. Blender and hand mixer for preparing specialty drinks.
- Refrigerator: Full size in kitchen. Bar fridge in lock-off bedroom.
- Dishwasher: Close door FIRMLY at top to activate controls. Just push START.
- Microwave (2) : One in equipped lock-off studio bedroom, one in full kitchen.
- Catering Available: Excellent chef available for formal and family meals.
- Outdoor Features
- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: Electric grill on terrace for grilling and dining al fresco. Geo. Foreman grill in kitchen and another in studio.
- Lanai: Dining for 6, plus lounges for reclining. Hot tub, VIEW. You'll love the private staircase from terrace to pool area and beach. Facilities at VDM II are for owners, guests, and renters, only. No outside guests are allowed. No loud partying which disturbs other residents is permitted.

- Oceanfront: You won't find another unit built any closer to the water than this. The VIEW is spectacular! All rooms have ocean view. Our condo is in the ocean-front building.

...On the fishing--we caught the Barracuda on a boat (Rick's, I think) $90/person for a half day, with a mess of Snapper (which we also ate). Dwayne is a chef, so he was already planning the meals before the boat was docked. He did an incredible job, as usual, and the Barracuda was definitely our favorite. (Hard to beat fresh Snapper, but he did it!) Delicious, would eat it again for sure. We also brought our fly-fishing rods and caught quite a few out in front of the condo--Bonefish and some others-smaller so just put them back. I hear people can fly-fish for the Barracuda, so that would be info to put on your site. (Need a steel leader for that). Cheers, Charles
