This is our third time staying at this condo and each time has been a wonderful experience. It is a place where you can take small children and feel very safe. The condo is clean and very spacious. It is so nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom, making it very easy for six adults to have a comfortable stay. We love that the beach is literally just steps away. We also love that it is so close to the marina, shopping and the golf course. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a safe and relaxing vacation. We have rented and owned properties all over the world and this condominium in the magnificent Puerto Aventuras complex is the best located, most beautifully decorated and furnished in which we have ever spent a vacation. It has the best ocean frontage in the building with a wide dining balcony that does full justice to the magnificent view. It is the only unit in Building One which has a private staircase down to the lawn, pool and beach area. The bedrooms are large with terrific storage and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are elegant and everything works all the time--not all that common everywhere in Mexico. We particularly appreciated the fact that each bedroom had its own air conditioning controls. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we all enjoyed the many flat screen TVs. The beach is raked each morning and it's just a short stroll along it to a fine hotel and a charming village with many restaurants--even a dolphin pool. This is a fine home and bears no resemblance whatsoever to the typical rental property in Mexico or anywhere else. We can't recommend it highly enough.

My Family LOVES this place. It is so beautiful and relaxing. The condo has everything. A beautiful terrace to sit out on and watch the ocean, a fun beach for kids to play at, and a great pool too. This unit at Villa Del Mar 2 is fabulous. The bedrooms are extra large, there are DVD players and tv's in every room. The towels and linens are like brand new. The kitchen is stocked with all appliances and cooking equipment with an extra large dining table to fit all. The daily maid service is a big luxury. We love it here. There are kayaks, boogie boards, and sand toys for the kids. This year our family went on an ATV tour thru the jungle and beach which was very fast and enjoyable. It's only 10 minutes away. Would definitly recommend the tour. We explored in caves, swam in the cenote and the beach. The guide was very funny and informative. If you love a beautiful view, and absolute luxury, this is the condo for you!

I love this condo in Puerto Aventuras! It is such an easy and relaxing trip for my family...(we have 3 small children)...this is our 2nd time renting this condo and it was perfect in every way! It is clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and has all the amenities and an easy walk to shopping, restaurants and the dolphin center (which my kids LOVE!)....we also loved using the kayaks this year...my husband took all the kids out in the calm water right in front of the condo! You won't be disappointed, and the owners are a delight to work with...we'll be booking this condo again in the near future!

Perfect Beachfront Vacation Rental

We have stayed in Puerto Aventuras many times and this is the best villa we have rented. Everything about the property is top of the line. The beachfront location is perfect and the private stairs to the pool and beach are an added bonus. We really enjoyed the kayaks. The owners are great to deal with, even sending updates on the weather before we arrived. I highly recommend this property.

This is a great condo - wonderfully furnished and maintained, maid service daily is outstanding, location is super. We went with our 2 adult children. Each bedroom has an exterior entrance so the condo also offers exceptional privacy. When I return to the Yucatan, I will be looking to return here.

We really felt as home and we had an excellent time in Villa del Mar II. The place is really better than the photos. We enjoyed the jacuzzi very much. And the owner was really a good person. I strongly recommend this property to my friends and relatives and hope to be back soon.

We have spent extraordinary holiday in this Condo. The department is first class, with great rooms, living extraordinary, cuisine is extremely comprehensive, and well decorated. All rooms with the best imaginable ocean view. The balcony with the hot tub is too much! The service is first class, both the manager and cleaning. Really is much more than what is shown in the description. Highly recommended

The unit is the best one we have ever rented and the staff that works with the renters is by far the best we have ever had. They go out of there way to help with cabs, restaurents etc. and the cleaning staff is there when you are gone which is a great plus. I do not know how they do it but the results are obvious. The furnishings are on a grade A level and the kiyaks wre a big hit with our teen-age boys.

What an AMAZING place to stay on our honeymoon! The home is amazing and clean and beautifully decorated. We have traveled quite a bit, and REALLY enjoyed our trip to Puerto Adventuras. We took our two teenage daughters for some family time away from it all and had a wonderful week together. It was just the right amount of adventure. We took taxis to nearby Xel Ha, Tulum and Play del Carman. We loved walking down the beach into the town plaza and went at least once every day to the internet cafe, for a meal(loved the food) or ice cream (Cafe Ole). The girls swam with the dolphins and we got lots of great pictures. There were lots of baby dolphins and one was born during our stay. Safety was never a concern anywhere but we felt good about staying inside the gated community. Geraldine booked our airport transportation and was always helpful. Loved being so close to the ocean breeze. We prefer a small condo comlex and your lovely unit was perfect in every way, Thank you Barbara, my kids would love to come back!

We have just returned from our fourth stay at this condo. We come back every year because it is so nice and our children love it! We swim in the pool, play at the beach which is only steps away, and love walking down to the Marina to eat at the great local restaurants and visit the dolphins. We also love to take excursions to Xcaret to float down the river inside the caves and see all the animals. And we always spend one day shopping and having refreshments in Playa del Carmen which is only 15 minutes away by taxi. This condo has everything we need, plenty of TVs to entertain the kids at night, beach towels, kayaks and even a washer dryer so we don't have to pack a ton of clothes! The full kitchen is great too, so we can cook many of meals in the condo. We can't wait to return next year!

The villa was just beautiful. We’ve been to other islands in the Caribbean, and this villa by far is the best we’ve stayed in. It was roomy and had very luxurious furniture. Dulce, from the realty company, was most welcoming and so accommodating. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. We went grocery shopping for salt/pepper, paper towels, etc. when we arrived, and found out we didn’t need to when we got to the condominium. The ocean right in front of the complex is rocky, so bring aqua shoes if you want to go in the water. We also had a chance to use their 2 kayaks and to explore around the bay. A short walk from the condominium, starting from Villa del Mar I and towards the Omni Hotel, you will find a powder-fine beach. Bring towels to lie on if you would like to stay on that beach. Omni will demand that you purchase a day pass ($25 per person at the time we were there) to use their lounge chairs. The beach itself is open to the public, however. There was a barracuda a few feet from shore, trying to catch its meal when we were there one afternoon. It was fascinating watching him.

We just returned from our second stay in Puerto Aventuras and our second time renting this condo. We absolutely love this condo, why you ask? It is in the perfect location and beach front. With 3 small children (an infant and 5 year old twins)it is the perfect place to stay...what I really appreciated with this condo is that that owners made it easy for us to travel with the infant, they had a pack n play and highchair for us to use, no hauling extra stuff. Plus, the fact that it is spacious, well stocked, steps to the beach and pools, and within short walking distance to restaurants and shopping made this vacation wonderful and EASY. The condo is immaculate (which is always a big concern when booking) and my kids had the best vacation of their lives. We played in the pool/beach all day, then we would walk to lunch in town and then come home and cook a wonderful dinner on the terrace overlooking the beautiful ocean! What more could you ask for? Plus like others have said, it is a short cab ride to Playa del Carmen and Xcaret, two things our family likes to do. We will definitely be coming back for years to come and will request this condo again!

The villa was very well maintained and all the rooms surprisingly spacious. A nearby large shopping center provided all the fresh food we wanted for breakfast or the few times we opted not to take advantage of the restaurants within walking distance or the many dining options in Playa del Carmen (15 minutes drive).For active people like us, there were many day trip options, including Xcaret, Tulum and Yal Ku to mention just a few, snorkeling in the sonotes was an unbelievable experience that should be on everyone’s itinerary. The dive masters from the he on-site scuba shop were experienced and helpful, making for enjoyable dives with much to see. Our deep sea fishing trip yielded several fish, including two 20lb+ mahi-mahis (other boats all seemed to be similarly successfully) that the local restaurants were very happy to turn into a dinner for us.This is definitely a place we are adding as an option for future trips.

This is our second time staying at this great villa! We have decided it must be an annual trip. The villa is beautiful and outfitted with everything you need for a relaxing (or adventurous) vacation. This year we took a couple of excursions, to Xcaret and Play del Carmen. Both are about a 15 minute ($15 american) taxi ride from the villa. Xcaret has lots of exotic animals, a boat tour and you can float down an underground river with life vests. Our kids loved it! Playa del Carmen is great for shopping and dining out. We had such a great time, we wouldn't change a thing and can't wait to go back next year.

We give this place an A+. It was a terrific and immaculate ocean front property. Having three separate bedrooms each with their own private bathroom made this a perfect condo for our grown family. Barbara and Ed made sure that we had what we needed and are terrific to rent from. The condo is in a safe and marvelous location....there are restaurants and shops within walking distance and the town of Playa del Carmen is only 15 minutes away (by cab or car). The beach is pristine and private. The diving is marvelous (use Dive Aventura) and the dive shop is within walking distance. We would be delighted to answer any questions (e-mail us). We can even recommend a driver (reasonable cost) to transport you to and from the Cancun airport, and to help you with any of your needs while you are there. This was our first time renting a condo (instead of staying in hotels/resort properties) and it was a delightful experience! Thank you Barbara and Ed.

...On the fishing--we caught the Barracuda on a boat (Rick's, I think) $90/person for a half day, with a mess of Snapper (which we also ate). Dwayne is a chef, so he was already planning the meals before the boat was docked. He did an incredible job, as usual, and the Barracuda was definitely our favorite. (Hard to beat fresh Snapper, but he did it!) Delicious, would eat it again for sure. We also brought our fly-fishing rods and caught quite a few out in front of the condo--Bonefish and some others-smaller so just put them back. I hear people can fly-fish for the Barracuda, so that would be info to put on your site. (Need a steel leader for that). Cheers, Charles

The nicest villa we've rented! It was absolutely perfect! I loved the fact that it had 3 separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom...that way each family had their own private area! It was very clean and comfortable. Plus it was stocked with all the necessities needed for a perfect vacation. It was steps away from the beach which was a highlight for my children. My family felt very safe and secure and we loved the little town of Puerto Aventuras which was in walking distance to all shops and restaurants from this villa. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants their vacation to be fun, easy, and relaxing! My family had a wonderful stay here! We will definitely be going back in the future.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! and can't wait to get back there. This Villa has everything you could ever need. The owners keep it so nice and clean with beautiful furniture and five star luxury. You couldn't ask for anything else. It's extremely roomy with large living areas and also large bedrooms for those needed private times. My husband loves cooking, and he found it very easy and comfortable to cook in the Villa's wonderful kitchen. I'd have to say that my favorite thing was sitting on the terrace enjoying the beautiful view, with the nice cool breeze off the ocean. Puerto Aventuras is also beautiful and very safe. The beaches are clean and good for swimming, even with small children. It is perfect for the adventurous traveller as well as the family or couple who likes to just relax. The kids loved swimming in the villa's pool and the ocean, digging sand on the beach, and "visiting" the dolphins at the marina. Thanks for a wonderful time! We will definitly be back.

We had such a great time staying at this villa! Puerto Aventuras is a great town, really safe, and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance (even with very small children). But mostly we enjoyed staying in at night. The villa is decorated so nicely and had everything we needed for cooking up great dinners (even a little bar-b-que on the terrace). After that we'd put our kids in front of one of the many flat screen televisions, pop in a dvd, and the adults would enjoy hanging out on the terrace with the gorgeous ocean views! We spent our days swimming in the villa's pool, playing at the beach which is only steps away, or visiting the dolphins at the nearby marina. The villa had sand toys and plenty of beach towels plus it's own washer/dryer so we didn't have to pack tons of clothes. We wouldn't change a thing about our vacation and especially this villa! We can't wait to go back next year!
