It is ideal to stroll to the wonderful shops on the main shopping street Laugavegur, restaurants, and bars in the neighbourhood.

The apartment is only a five minutes drive from to the National Bus Terminal BSI,which buses go to and from Keflavík International Airport every hour. It takes about 50 minutes by bus/car to drive from the Airport in Keflavik to Reykjavik.

We like to share to travellers from other countries to enjoy Reykjavik and stay like a home in a private apartment. It is ease to take day tours form Reykjavik, such as The Golden Circle and to the Blue Lagoon.

Our stay was fantastic; the only bad thing about it being that it lasted only 2 days. It is great to stay in a house that seems inhabited, instead of cold and impersonal - and we loved the way it was inhabited! Having music and books around is always a bonus. The place itself is very beautiful; a friend who came to pick us up said she remembered having one day bought a bike there - I wonder if that is possible? All is convenient, and the washing machine very appreciated in Iceland (we had encountered none in 2 weeks and had to use our friends). I suspect it would not be a problem for most Icelanders but we had trouble to sleep. We did not manage to get the internet to work but I guess this has more to do with my computer which was asking passwords. We are looking forward to our next stay in Reykjavik and have no doubt about where we will stay! Thank you again and good luck to Alaborg Apartments! Agnès - & Rufo
