Welcome to unit 1005 at the Lighthouse condos in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This modern, nicely decorated, 2 bedroom (plus 2 bunks), 2 bathroom condo has a gorgeous view overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. This condo is the perfect spot to vacation with family and friends.

1) Our condo is a LARGE 2 bedroom with a full dining area and a full balcony that looks straight out to the gulf. This is not the smaller 2 bedroom model on the wing of the building, which has no dining area.
2) Our condo was professionally decorated and was recently upgraded with tile throughout the main living area. We also have very comfortable "couch style" outdoor furniture on the balcony.
3) Our condo has technology that you might be used to having at home. Like a 37" Vizio HDTV in the living room with built-in internet apps. Listen to Pandora radio during the day or watch movies on Netflix at night. And a music system where you can plug in your iPod, iPad or any mp3 device.
4) Our condo has a convenient keypad entry so you don't have to worry about keys.
5) Our condo is very kid friendly. We supply a pack n play for toddlers and provide a guard rail for the lower bunk bed if needed. We also have a toy bin with alot of beach toys, boogie boards and rafts.
6) Our condo provides 2 nice sitting beach chairs plus many other extras.

All of the Lighthouse units have the same access to the great amenities such as 2 outdoor pools, 2 hot tubs, 1 indoor pool and of course, just steps away from the white sand.
This unit sleeps 6-8 comfortably with a king size bed in master, Queen size bed in guest room and a fold out sofa bed in the living room. In addition, there are twin bunk beds for the kids.
The master bedroom includes an amazing gulf front view and access to balcony, a wall mounted flat screen TV, king size bed and it's own private bathroom with double sink vanity, walk in closet, whirlpool tub and walk-in shower.
The guest bedroom is spacious with a queen size bed, flat screen TV with DVD and adjoining bathroom.
The views from the living room are amazing with glass windows floor to ceiling and sliding doors opening up to the large 200 sq. ft. balcony. The living room comes equipped with a 37" flat screen TV and DVD entertainment system with built-in iPod jack. Enjoy the view from the living room couch or sit on the balcony that is furnished with very comfortable outdoor lounging love seat, ottoman, table & chairs.
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including all basic necessities, pots, pans, serving dishes, flatware, glassware, plates & bowls.
No need to bring bath towels or linens, we provide it all.

We stayed at this BEAUTIFUL condo in September of 2011 and have NO COMPLAINTS!!! There was plenty of room for 3 adults and another room for kids (fortunately, none were with us). There were boogie boards, floats, fish net, etc. provided. The kitchen was large and all the amenities were there. The bedrooms were large and beautiful. The owners were very easy to contact and very responsive. This is located within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and the souvenir places.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our stay in your condo. Location was excellent and the Lighthouse offered every thing we were looking for. This condo had plenty of space and all the extras that we needed. The owners were easy to get in contact with and always very friendly. We would definitely return to this condo.

We had a great time at the lighthouse condo. Everything was so comfortable. The beach was heaven and the two pools were fantastic. The location can not be beat. Go to the Orginal Oyster House and the kids loved the Hangout.

This was our first experience with VRBO and we were anxious to see if we would get what was promised. How thrilled we were when we arrived and the condo was just as pictured, everything was clean and ready for our arrival. We had to contact the owner for additional parking passes and he made certain that we had an additional parking pass within the hour. We especially enjoyed the deck and the nice lounge furniture. Many hours were spent on the balcony reading in that comfy furniture. We will certainly plan to stay here again.

This is the best rental experience we have ever had. The owners seemed to think of everything concerning your needs, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys for children etc. Pack your clothes and you are ready to go. I very highly recommend this rental. You can't go wrong.

We stayed at this awesome condo over the Christmas holidays. It is beautifully decorated, with warm, relaxing wall and furniture colors. The entire condo was extremely comfortable and the view was awesome. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The owner was nice enough to check in with us to make sure everything was OK, this was the first time I have had this happen and it was extremely thoughtful. This will be our first choice upon our return to the area.

We stayed Oct 7-11, 2009 (during the Shrimp Festival) and had a fantastic time! The condo is very nice and has a great view of the beach and ocean. Also has lots of extras (sand chairs, umbrella, buckets, shovels, etc.). We look forward to our next trip and would definitely stay in this condo again!

The view from the 10th floor was great. The decor is contemporary comfort and the outdoor cushioned furniture made the balcony very usable. I look for condos that do not look like my grandmother's decor and this one fit the bill. While we did not use the bunk room....how cute for little ones. It was a great stay.

What a beautiful condo! Great view! Pools were incredible especially the zero entry one for kids. The extras in this condo were awesome for kids. My daughter played with all the toys in the bunkroom. They provide everything that you need for the beach. Close to the elevators. This complex is close to dining and grocery stores. This was our first time at the complex. We would go back and we would stay in this unit again. The owners were very easy to get hold of for questions. Loved not having to "check in/out" anywhere...that saves lots of time on a busy Saturday. All the comforts of home, but with a much better view :)
