This fabulous unit is located on the beachfront at Kontiki Beach Condominiums. With comfort and fun in mind the owners made this a cheerful place to spend time after a day on the water.
Guest bedroom downstairs has two twin beds and a private bath. Master bedroom upstairs has a king-size bed, master bath, and private balcony. There is a newly added loft that serves as a third bedroom with two twin beds for even more sleeping room for our guests!
Open living, dining, and kitchen areas with a two wonderful decks that look out onto a private beach area and Aransas Bay!

We are Jim & Christie Jacobus from Sugar Land, Texas and we own the condo at 208 KonTiki Beach Resort!
Christie is a registered nurse with the Memorial Hermann hospital system in Houston where she is an educator. She also has her masters in Education and works as a marriage counselor.

Why the Owner Chose Rockport
We bought our first boat in 2000 and began our migration down the coast from Galveston Bay, to Matagorda, Port O'Connor and then to the Rockport area. We liked a lot of different things about Rockport.
First, the fishing there is excellent! You have flat after flat after flat to fish if you are partial to skinny water. Then there are the huge back lake areas where redfish roam by the hundreds! There are also deep water bay areas with tons of structure that holds fish during the summer months. And, if you like offshore fishing it is there available for you as well. Because the fishery is so diverse there is always somewhere you should be able to find fish!
We also settled on Rockport because there is a lot more to do there than just fish! While we both enjoy fishing Christie appreciates having other options as well! Some of those "other options" include a wonderful array of quaint shops to check out that are scattered throughout the area. Just the other day we counted 4 art galleries in downtown Rockport alone!
There is also a movie theater in Rockport that always has a great variety of first run movies at around $4 per ticket! Can't find that price here at home for sure! Add to that the fantastic assortment of restaurants available like ... Paradise Key, Alice Faye's, Charlotte Plummer's (Christie's fav), The Boiling Pot (Jim's fav), China A buffet and all of the standard chains and rest assured you are going to eat as well as you would like! And, believe it or not, the night life is alive and well if you have any energy left!
Bottom line ... we love the diverse choices the area offers us during our time away from home!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Beyond the amazing fishing, the variety of shopping options, the outstanding food and the interesting night life at the end of the day we love our condo because it provides the ultimate place to kick back, relax and unwind! Nothing beats the sunrises that come to life over the bay that you can witness from the master bedroom, the upstairs deck or the downstairs deck. They are simply majestic!
In the evenings, after a day of the activities of your choosing, nothing beats the relaxing breezes you can enjoy on either of our outside decks! I highly recommend you add a Landshark beer or a Malibu Rum and diet coke to make the experience even more scintillating! Whatever ails you or stresses you out at home will quickly wither away with the salt air and the sea breezes!
