This was a much needed getaway for my wife and I. We planned to take all the food we needed to settle in for the 3 days and it was the perfect place for that. You hear nothing around but the rushing creek, and we didnt even notice the cabins across the creek until we got out and explored a bit. We truly felt we were in the middle of nowhere away from people and the city. The covered decks were great for relaxing by the fireplace and in the hottub. We had forgotten a few cooking supplies and to our surprise everything we needed was right there. Our little dog Chloe, who gets very nervous in new places, was very comfortable as well. We have been to many cabins together, and this was the perfect one for the two of us. This is the first one we will return to, and cannot wait to do it! Everything at Cozy Cabin was exactly what we read in the description and more! Thank you for this awesome place!

We were looking for a quiet cabin for a long weekend where we could relax and bring our puppy. This cabin was perfect for us. The description was on the spot and it was very well stocked & clean. It was sort of like staying at a family member's place considering everything from a great grill, outdoor fireplace, large back porch, hot tub, gazebo, nice back yard and many more amenities. We stayed close to the cabin mostly, grilled, enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, and recharged our batteries. Can't wait to come back again.
Owner response:Boy, we never tire of hearing that you loved you stay at Cozy Creek. This cabin has somthing special for people that really enjoy what it has to offer. We have always wanted our guests to come away with a great experience and love the place like we do. You are always welcomed back!

This is the second time we have rented Cozy Creek cabin. We just got back from a wonderful week. Can't wait until we can spend another vacation at the cabin. If you want peace and quiet, this cabin is for you! Cozy is a good way to describe the cabin. The minute you walk in you feel right at home. The kitchen is 'well' equipped - all you need to bring is food and drinks. The outdoor fireplace located on the top deck is a spectacular place to spend the evening or early morning. This cabin is well maintained and very clean. The best attraction is Mercier's Orchard during their U-PICK events. We have picked strawberries, cherries and blueberries. All of them are scrumptious. Of course, you have to try one of their fried pies. If you are looking to have lunch or dinner beside the river, we recommend Tocca Riverside Restaurant on Aska Road. Also, Blue Ridge BBQ is an excellent place. Sally was very helpful when we made our reservations. She is friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend Cozy Creek cabin for a quiet/relaxing getaway from the hectic world that we live in.
Owner response:We love having our return guests. It makes us feel like "old friends who love to come stay at our place when they get the chance."

My husband and I went there to celebrate his birthday and we had such a great relaxing time. We were so suprised when we walked into this home as we felt like we came HOME. Sally has not missed a beat on comfort, relaxation and all the little extra's. We didn't need to bring half the things we brought as the cabin has everything you need except your clothes and food. It truly is a retreat as there are no neighbors on either side and the area around is great for walking and even fishing in the creek behind the house. Sally, thank you for the little extra's to make Peter's birthday so special! We will definately be back in the fall if not sooner.

This cabin was absolutely perfect in every way. The description is spot on. This is so much more than a rental. You feel like you are staying in a relative's cozy home. The cabin is so well equipped that you literally only need to bring food and a toothbrush. We especially enjoyed sitting on the rockers, by the the outdoor fireplace, listening to the rushing creek below. The proximity to Blue Ridge is great as well. The transaction with Sally was smooth and easy. The owners have though of everything. Overall a fabulous experience. You can't go wrong staying here. Can't wait to go back.
Owner response:Thanks so much to Lori and Bryan for these kind words. This is exactly the experience we want all of our guests to have when they stay at Cozy Creek.

This cabin is beautifully decorated and so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. When you walk in the door you immediately feel the comfort and coziness of Cozy Creek. The owners put alot of thought and care into providing everything you need - they even left an anniversary gift for us. We truly enjoyed our stay at Cozy Creek!! We highly recommend this cabin!
Owner response:Julie and Mark were the perfect guests. I had to be away during this time due to a family emergency and they couldn't have been any better about taking care of our cabin and understanding what we were going through. People like this is why John and I continue to share Cozy Creek with others.

It's not easy finding a "decent" pet-friendly cabin. I was very pleasantly surprised by Cozy Creek. Squeaky clean, yet comfortable - we didn't have to worry about our dogs scratching the floors etc. We grilled steaks, made cookies, fixed country breakfasts, had sandwiches, snacks and drinks, and never once did we not have everything we needed. It's the most well-provisioned places we've ever stayed. The owner is friendly, contacts you very timely and has reasonable rules for the cabin. Instructions for nearly everything are kept in a notebook by the door and she even left a gift and a note for us, and a healthy treat for our dog. Cabin is stocked with a dog bed, bowls, paw cleaning towels and toys. I can't say enough about the cabin and the owner. I would recommend this cabin for anyone who wants to get away from it all in the Georgia mountains. Downtown Blue Ridge is a must-see, and pet friendly as well. Some stores even had bowls of water out front on the sidewalk for dogs. We loved it from start to finish.
Owner response:Thanks so much! John and I love making the cabin friendly for our guests and their pets. I have found if your dog is happy, you will be too! I take pride in making sure that the cabin is well equipped. John and I have tried to have on hand everything you might need to make your stay stress free. There is nothing worse than needing something on vacation and having to spend valuable time at a store or purchasing things that you only need for a couple of days.

My family decided to skip the beach this year to head to the mountains. We could not have asked for a better family vacation, We arrived at the cabin with gifts from the owners and a kind note. We have never arrived at any rental with such a warm welcome. My two young children (2 & 5 years old) and our furry pal Sandy had an absolute blast. This pet friendly cabin is not like most - it has nice decor. Other than bringing child proof door knob covers so our two year old would not escape without our knowledge and getting groceries, there was seriously nothing else we needed for the cabin. It was completely stocked, clean, well furnished and private. Hearing, playing and fishing in the creek was so relaxing and an adventure for the kids. We headed to all the local rivers and lakes and ended our day in the hot tub. We spent 5 days and would have loved to extend if our 5 year old was not starting school! On a last note, Sally and John were extremely professional and kind. We cannot wait to return this fall or winter.
Owner response:Thank you to Meg, Pat, Sloan, Patrick and Sandy! These guests were so sweet they even left us a gift! That was a nice surprise and very much appreciated.

Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! It was exactly what we needed; quiet and away from all of the traffic. The floor plan (all on one floor) was perfect, as we had my mother with us on this trip. The deck out back was fabulous. Huge trees and mountains in the distance made the views specacular. We WILL be back! Oh, and did I say, I have NEVER seen a cabin so well outfitted! We lacked for nothing. Sally, thanks for your hospitality -- Everythig was perfect when we arrived. We can't wait to come again soon.
Owner response:Thanks Jon! We love our little piece of heaven. The layout of the cabin is wonderful. You enter at street level and it is all on one level. The picture on VRBO is of the back deck that looks down to the creek. The hot tub is on the lower level decking.

As novice cabin renters we were extremely pleased with our Cozy Creek Cabin. The seclusion and serenity are almost out of this world yet ever amenity was right there at our fingertips in this lovely cabin. We had a bit of a storm on Christmas Eve, but we were nice and cozy in front of the fireplace. Our dog Dorothy was so interested in all the smells and sounds around the cabin property - she was like a different dog altogether. It is extremely easy to recommend this cabin to anyone looking for ultimate comfort yet somewhere to get away from it all.

We had a great time. When we arrived we found a note and some goodies from our friends and when we called them they said how wonderful you were to help them out. The cabin was more than we hoped for, everything we needed and thanks for the gift. I had a great birthday and anniversary. We walked down to the creek and Bill "tried" to catch some fish! We ended up going to a trout farm and had a good experience there. It was overcast and raining on and off all week-end, but hasn't stopped us from enjoying the cabin and woods. Also the bed was very comfortable. We've been in some cabins that the bed was hard as a rock - anyway, thanks for sharing your home with us. God Bless.

When my husband and I were looking for a vacation getaway we were overwhelmed with so many places to choose from! We wanted privacy, a clean, cozy cabin, no neighbors, freedom, outdoor activities and a truly dog friendly cabin. Cozy Creek's description seemed to fit, but we were not sure until we actually arrived. Everything they describe is accurate and then some. It was an unforgettable vacation! Our dogs got to hike and swim in the rivers and....well, we will defintiley be back! Anyone wondering if it is worth it should visit and we know you'll be back!

Words cannot explain how perfect your cabin is. All of our life stresses melted away the moment we walked through the door. Even Porter, our Border Colie was calm. That never happens! Your hospitality made us feel welcome and at home, almost as if you've known us for years. There was something for all of us. I enjoyed your black and red kitchen (it's exactly like mine at home, even down to the red Kitchen Aid pots and pans). Sam enjoyed the rocking chairs and Porter LOVED the creek. Thank you for opening your home to us. This will be a place we will visit for years.

In fact, we discussed how in a few years we would love to buy a cabin just like this one. Not to big, not to small, and the seclusion is to die for! Cozy Creek provided all that we needed for a relaxing vacation - sitting on the deck listening to the creek, watching the sun shining on the mountain, celebrating "big" birthdays and best of all, reuniting with friends. The location was beautiful and quiet, and the cabin was gorgeous inside and out. We made good use of the kitchen that had absolutely everything, and the brand new grill on the deck! Bing enjoyed his big red dog bed after hiking the trails with us, and certainly felt at home, as we did. Our "welcome package" was a surprise, and much appreciated! We would love to come back again soon!

We stayed at Cozy Creek Jan 10-17, 2009 and had an extremely relaxing time. It was very cold so the hot tub on the deck was enjoyable. The decor in the cabin is adorable and I scoured around Blue Ridge and found some duplicate items to take home for myself in planning for our "future cabin". Forgot to add in the guest book at the cabin that the claw foot tub was very enjoyable as well. Our bichon, Sasha, loved running around with us and we appreciated having such a beautiful place to bring her. Thanks again.

Christmas a Cozy Creek was great! My wife and I have stayed at many cabins in Ellijay and Blue Ridge over the years, and this is by far the best one we have stayed at. The seclusion and sounds of Fightingtown Creek from the back porch and hot tub can't be beat! It was great to bring our dogs (i.e. our children), and the gated back porch was enjoyed by both us and the dogs. The owners go the extra mile to make your stay both personal and comfortable. The outdoor fireplace is also a nice feature. If you have any animals, you need to visit the "We Love Dogs and Cats too" store in downtown Blue Ridge. We will definitely be back!

The cabin is beautiful and has everything you could ever want or need for a fun and relaxing getaway! We could hear the rushing creek from the gazebo swing, the porch and while we were resting (or tucked in for the night) on the comfortable king size bed. We caught up on some much needed rest! We went whitewater rafting one day, visited Mercier Orchards another day, rode the train to Macaysville GA/Copper Hill, TN one afternoon and antiqued in Blue Ridge. Maggie and Memphis (Golden Retrievers) rested on the gated porch overlooking the creek and enjoyed romping in it at the end of every day. Thanks for a great vacation!

We enjoyed the peace of the creek, the cabin and the wonderful weather! Our 3 dogs loved it here as well. We went hiking at the Ocoee and Fannin County parks (both very nice). We enjoyed grilling and eating out on the picnic table. The local fruit and vegatables were awesome. Wine and the hot tub almost every night. We loved sitting on the deck for hours with the dogs, reading, talking, cooking and drinking. We will have to come back in the Fall!

Enjoyed dining at the Toccoa Riverside Restuarant. Friday night Jill was craving trout and the pecan crusted did not disappoint. David loved the live Bluegrass music. Stopped by the Lily Pad Cafe for Cappucinos afterward. Saturday we enjoyed the Scottish Festival in Blairsville, then toured downtown Blue Ridge. Picked up wine, smoked salmon, sun dried tomato goat cheese and a baguette from Out of the Blue gourmet shop for a romantic dinner at the cabin listening to the sounds of the creek! We'll be back. Thank you for sharing your cozy cabin with us! David and Jill Note from owners: We always try to have the names and number of local resturants that we enjoy in our cabin notebook to inform our guests of places to eat or attractions to take advantage of. Sounds like David and Jill took our advise!

Enoyed laughing hysterically after too much wine. Relaxed in the hot tub, enjoyed the outside fireplace, cooking together. Awesome girls weekend! Aimee Just wanted to add that Aimee is a repeat customer. She and her husband had stayed at Cozy Creek before and she wanted to bring her girlfriends for a weekend getaway. To make their time together special I provided a "conversation card" game just for girls, a bottle of champagne and special tolietries just for them. Sally

Richard (one of our sons) was finally able to come for a visit. We enjoyed the creek and having a fire outside on the deck. I made his favorite meals. Can't believe that he is 20 years old! John and I are so proud! Sally Layton
