Perched on top of a bluff, a few hundred feet from the ocean, and well away from your neighbors, PACIFIC VIEW offers dramatic views of the blue Pacific Ocean from every room. This special beach home is about two miles North of the town of Gold Beach and Rogue River, providing quiet and privacy, yet with close proximity to shops and restaurants. Beneath you lies pristine Bailey Beach, a short walk from your door, where you can stroll for miles and hours and rarely see another person.
This upscale, smoke-free, scent-free home with over 1,700 square feet, has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. A far cry from the traditional beach house, it has been furnished and equipped with your comfort in mind. The main living area has an open floor plan with contemporary furnishings. The living room has a raised-hearth fireplace built with Oregon stone, a dining area with a big, round, oak table that seats six, and a spacious kitchen. The rear of the house has a yard and a 400 SF cedar deck with a hot tub, partially enclosed in glass to protect you on windy days.
The bedrooms are inviting and feature one queen and two king beds. The mattresses are new and extremely comfortable. The linens are luxurious, with 100% high thread count cotton sheets, cotton flannel blankets, thick down comforters and down pillows (no polyester!). There are two high definition TV's with HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, a CD player and a DVD player. The home is equipped with a wireless, high speed Internet connection when you want to reach the outside world, and free long distance telephone service (USA and Canada).
Sunsets are the main event of the day at Pacific View. Enjoy one while dining, sipping your favorite beverage on the deck, soaking in the hot tub, or strolling the beach. The Unique Benefits of this House
The peace and quiet is remarkable. The Southern Oregon coast is very remote, and not well populated. Most of the time you can walk the 5 mile long beach in front of the house and never see another person. The coastal roads in and out of Gold Beach provide some of the most dramatic and beautiful ocean scenery in the world. This is a fishing, hiking, and an artist's paradise. The mighty Rogue is well protected and pristine. Rogue Reef, a few miles out into the Pacific provides an incredible viewing point. One of the largest breeding grounds for sea lions, these beautiful animals can often be heard barking on quiet evenings.
