Fours Winds cabin is located just four miles from Interstate 26, but you'll feel you've arrived in a lovely secluded cove on the banks of the beautiful Green River. As soon as you arrive, you'll hear the rush of the river and when you climb the stairs to the wonderful deck you'll appreciate not only the river, but also the beautiful mountain views.
Four Winds cabin is a newly renovated cabin that was built from poplar logs harvested off the property. Great care has been taken to preserve the rustic charm of the original cabin while offering all the modern amenities that are so welcome in our day to day life. The cabin offers a master bedroom with a queen bed and private full bath. A second bedroom offers two double beds and a full bath just down the hallway. Our third bedroom is in our newly completed basement and has two qreen beds and a full bath. Also, in the basement , we have a lovely living area with a table full of games for family fun, areas to enjoy reading and comfortable seating to appreciate the beautiful mountain and river views. The upstairs den is cozy and comfortable with a lovely stone fireplace and a satellite TV when you feel the need to connect with the outside world. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs, or just head over to charming Saluda and enjoy the lovely dining experiences they offer.

There is kayaking with Green River Adventurers, hiking, tubing and some of the best fly fishing in North Carolina is just out the front door. Saluda, Tryon, Hendersonville or Asheville will satisfy any shopping urge. You'll find interesting gifts, antiques, and other treasures you can take home with you. Stay active or just rest and relax and enjoy the wonderful river and the beautiful mountain views.

My friends and I came to Four Winds to celebrate my birthday weekend. Based on this ad & other reviews, I had VERY high hopes. This trip was even more than I could have imagined (and I have a very creative imagination!). The interior was the perfect mix of rustic & refined. I loved the antiques and art work. Sitting out on the deck and listening to the river was pure heaven. Our trip wasn't long enough - we will definitely be back. This is the kind of place you discover by accident and you keep coming back, and coming back. Greg and Anne, thank you SO much for opening your home! We had the most wonderful time!!! (I will say that Green River Cove Rd. is a little scary, so unless you have 4WD or no fear, you might want to avoid the snowy months.)

Four Winds has evolved into such a happy place for our family and guests and we are just delighted that you and your friends felt the same way. We usually get to the cabin late on a Thursday or Friday, and we always open the car windows as we turn onto Green River Cove Road. We breathe deeply and take in that wonderful mountain air and then as we turn into our driveway we can hear the river and the sky looks like a lantern of lightening bugs. Those moments are so simple, but all the sudden, we’ve left work and school behind and we’re at our little cabin in the woods. Thank you for taking the time to share your happiness with us. I giggled when you talked about the switchbacks and what an adventure they can be. What a beautiful cabin to sit and relax and celebrate an anniversary. The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable. It's rustic and decorated beautifully. Very private and peaceful. We didn't want to leave but we'll be back!

This is a vacation getaway MUST! Especially if you like to hike,fantastic trails close by all along the Green River. We loved the mountain biking trail at Dupont just 40 minutes away. Then to come home to this beautifully decorated cabin to relax, & eat dinner out on the deck,listening to the white water, the birds and looking at the view. I miss it already! Can't wait to get back.

Girls weekend getaway! My old college roommate and I rented the cabin and absolutely loved it!!! I honestly didn't want to leave. The house is so cozy I immediately felt like I was at home. You can hear the Green River from inside the house which is so peaceful. We sat outside on the deck with some wine just listening to the river and looking at the mountain for hours. We also started a fire in the beautiful fireplace which was so relaxing. We are planning on making this an annual trip and would love to use The Four Winds Resort every time! It's the perfect mountain getaway!!

An absolutely charming log cabin making one feel at home at once. We swam regularly in the river, walked, fished and travelled to the many nearby sights. Able to fully chill-out! Definitely recommended.

We loved our stay at Four Winds. From the moment we pulled up in the driveway we new this place was special. The cabin is modern and very tastefully decorated but still retains the rustic feeling we like when up in the mountains. The Green River is right out the front door and makes for some soothing white noise while sitting on the deck.
