We had a great time at the cabin over Thanksgiving. There were more than enough spots from all of us to sleep and relax. We loved the fire pit and the basement game room. All the beds were very comfy, the cabin is well cared for and had all the amenitites for a relaxing getaway. The cabin has a great book with info on local things to do and we enjoyed many of the local hikes listed. Downtown Blue Ridge is close by and is a cute little town. We enjoyed the ice skating that they had there.

We had a wonderful time last weekend with 3 adults, a 13 year old boy and 11 year old girl. The kids kept themselves entertained in the basement while the adults were reading and talking upstairs. We brought our own games but there were plenty in the cabin! We enjoyed the hot tub every day and went for hikes a lot. The town of Blue Ridge is wonderful to visit. We enjoyed the montainview from the cabin!

The Cabin is lovely. From the pictures it looks like its on a clearing. It actually sits in the middle of woodlands. Very near Blue Ridge Lake but no view of the lake. You can hike to the lake from the cabin. Down the gravel road about a mile then down a hike path a few hundred yards. It has a lovely view of the Montains. Quite large with three floors. Very clean and modern. Great for families. About a 10-15 min drive to the Town of Blue Ridge. The area is very pretty. Woodlands, mountains, rivers, streams, lakes, farmland. You can find everything in the main highway that passes near town. Ramona was very nice and heplful. It rained a lot during our stay but we still enjoyed the jacuzzi, play room and main floor fireplace. Thx.

The cabin looks and feels cozy from the outside and inside. On the outside we enjoyed the hot tub, horseshoes, a fire in the iron chiminea, and the views sittin' on the decks even in February. With 3 levels inside there's plenty of room to be together for family time or find a quiet spot to curl up with a book. We had a blast playing pool & Foosball in the rec room! Just bring yourself along with your food & drinks. This place has everything else!

Had a wonderful time with a group of friends at this cabin...the cabin was equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your time! My friends and I spent most of our time relaxing in the cabin, but we also took some scenic drives around the area. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!

Our family had an absolute wonderful time at the cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful, as are the surroundings; and the cabin has all the amenities you could ask for to have a wonderful time. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wishes to get away and enjoy the beauty of the Blueridge Mountains. Thanks for a wonderful memory.

The photos on the site don't do this place justice. It's even better in person. We had a girls weekend over labor day and couldn't believe how spacious the place was. We enjoyed our morning coffee at the top floor with amazing views of the mtns. We had most meals outside, as there were outdoor eating areas on every floor of the cabin. The bottom floor was great fun in the evening for watching TV and playing pool. Of coures the Hot tub was one of our favorite activities in the evening. I would definitely recommend this cabin. I plan to bring my whole family back before winter sets in. Lovely place.

Hickory Knob bike Trail 4.6 miles View on map

One of the least known rides in the Aska Area, this one is mostly forest road with just a bit of pavement. Youll ride over Hickey Knob and then down its fun waterbar filled side. Around the base you’ll pass through pretty fields, a pond and old homesite. These ruins constrast sharply with the modern lake homes you’ll also pass enroute to the finish. Surface is 4 miles of forest road and 0.6 miles of pavement.

Stanley Creek Bike Trail 2.8 miles View on map

Stanley Creek Trail is a good example of a short but tough North Georgia trail. The singletrack section runs on old logging roadbeds that seem to be all over the place in these parts, although the trail is so overgrown in some sections, you wouldn’t believe too many folks had been there before. The section that loosely follows Stanley Creek is a beautiful trail, and some sections have some rocky surprises for you if you don’t pay attention. The gravel return leg on Forest Road 330 opens up some views of the surrounding peaks, and gives you a good sampling of the local terrain. The section that runs along Stanley Creek is full of photo opportunities in the fall. Don’t forget your camera. Stanley Creek Loop Tread:%2

Turkey Farm Bike Trail 4.7 Miles View on map

The Turkey Farm ride uses gravel forest roads, a gated section of forest road, a winding trail on roadbed through an old farmstead, and a short section of paved road to make an excellent beginner ride and all-weather loop. The forest road follows the shoreline of Blue Ridge Lake for some distance, and you can see some beautiful private homes along the way. The forest road on the other side the loop reveals great views of the higher peaks in the area, and reminds you of more strenuous rides for other days. The leaf-watching on this ride is spectacular in high season. The first downhill section to the gate has some deceptively tricky, dozer-built, launching pad–grade dips. The section running through the old farmstead is on

Green Mountain Bike Trail 7.7 miles View on map

Green Mountain Trail used to be combined with Stanley Gap Trail to make up the Rich Mountain Trail, legendary for its toughness and roughness. The USDA Forest Service recognizes them as two separate trails. By tackling them separately, they are manageable for more riders, which is not to say that Green Mountain is easy. The climb back up from the lake is pretty tough, but the scenery along the way will reward you and distract you from any discomfort you may be experiencing. The initial climb from the parking lot on the upper trail is a toughie as well, but is mercifully over within 0.8 mile. The run down to the lake is a blast, and will keep your pulse up even though you aren’t pedaling much. Take a refreshing

Long Branch Bike Trail 2.2 miles View on map

The first half of this loop follows an old skid road through a timber cut (read: hot and exposed on a sunny summer day, muddy when wet). After crossing the creek, you'll tunnel through shady rhododendron and hop over a few waterbars before a short hill climb back to the beginning of the loop. Highlights: Views, stream crossing, waterbars, briar and mud potential, connects to Green Mountain Trail.

The Green Mountain Trail actually offers several hike options, including a loop from Deep Gap, a shuttle hike to Blue Ridge Lake, and a shuttle hike connecting with the Long Branch Loop Trail. This route, however, describes a loop hike from Deep Gap at Aska Road. There are excellent views of the surrounding mountains in this area (but only during the winter months).

Fabulous single track makes this one heck of a trail! On this route, a paved downhill takes you to the Toccoa River before you go up, up, up on a forest road to the trail. Benton Mackaye hiking Trail 19.4 Miles View on map

Because of two long road walks, this part of the BMT will appeal mostly to end-to-end hikers. It really doesn’t stand out on its own as a weekend hike, save for the portion over Rocky Mountain. Start on Aska Road at Shallowford Bridge, and walk to Stanley Creek Road. Trace Stanley Creek Road to enter National Forest land, making a splash of an entry at Fall Branch Falls. From the cascade, climb up Rocky Mountain in boulder-studded remote forestland, only to wind downhill, passing a small stream just before reaching Weaver Creek Road. Descend along Laurel Creek through a mountain home development to cross the highway near Blue Ridge, Georgia, and enter another mountain home development, the Sisson property, where the trail
