Illalangi (pronounced ‘il-lä-la[ng]-E) is an indigenous word for "house on a hill" which is exactly where this 1960s style retreat - originally built for the City of Saint Jude - sits overlooking 270 degree views of beautiful Lake Martin.

HOUSE/LIVING: This clean, neat, simple hilltop retreat features open space living with spectacular views from every room. Fully furnished. Stone fireplace in living room. SLEEPING: The master has a queen size bed and private bath. The second and third bedroom can be configured to sleep up to 6. Combined with other space the house can easily accommodate 10 guests. A set of towels and linens for 8 provided. Tile floors in main living, kitchen, and eating areas.
KITCHEN: Kitchen is simple and convenient to the living and dining area. Any cooking mess is out of view of the living spaces. There is plenty of cupboard space including a hutch in the dining area. Kitchen is pre-stocked with necessities such as cutlery, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, blender and new appliances (stove, oven, sink, microwave, and refrigerator).

On the Montgomery side of Lake Martin and a few minutes from Eclectic, Illalangi Park is 30 minutes from Montgomery, 45 minutes from Auburn, 1½ hours from Birmingham, and 2 hours from Atlanta. Easy 10 minutes to Hwy 63 connecting to multiple cities, attractions, and eateries. Near the Lake Martin Amphitheater, Children’s Harbor, Camp Kawanis, Sinclair’s Restaurant, Jordan Grocery and Deli, and Cotton’s BBQ.
