We had such a wonderful stay at Ohia Plantion House. Everything was so perfect! The hawaiiian decor, fresh flowers and fruit made for such a warm welcome. Not to mention the added comfort of the warm fireplace and extra comfortable beds . The location was very close to the volcano which was exaclty what we were there for. I will be back real soon to enjoy this home away from home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a WONDERFUL vacation home. You really have thought of everything. This was the most comfortable bed too! Classy all the way around. We appreciated how close it was to the park. We highly recommend the Kilauea Iki hike and go to the Jagger Museum at night. The Halemaumau Crater was glowing from the lava below in the steam - Not To Miss! Off to the other side of the island but will definitely miss Ohia Plantation House. Hope to come back someday!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thank you both so very much for your warm hospitality here in Volcano. It rained until the morning we were leaving but with the fire roaring and the cozy surroundings. We couldn't mind. The house is just GORGEOUS and so very well equipped. You have thought of everything. Thank you again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We came to the Volcanoes National Park 10 years ago (w/o kids) and vowed to come back some day with our sons. 10 years later - we are here celebrating our 20th anniversary and our older son's high school graduation. Your home was a very welcoming place to come to after a long days hiking - even came back at lunchtime for burgers on the grill! Great hot tub, fireplace and grilling area and the beds were comfy too!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is our 3rd visit to Volcano staying in a different cottage each time. But this home is the one we will return to! Thanks so much for everything - the morning provisions! Bath toiletries! The cleanest place we have stayed in! We very much enjoyed the fireplace on these cool spring nights. Until the next time Aloha.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Our family truly enjoyed Ohia Plantation House! It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for our family of 5. Plus, we had a delicious pineapple on our first morning. Great being so close to Volcanoes Park.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
