Stayed in this home for a mid week getaway in April and had a really wonderful time. The house was immaculately clean and contained everything you could possibly need including a well equipped kitchen, flat screen tv and dvd player. The bedrooms are all really comfortable with a lovely homely country cottage feel to them. The location is great for easy access to Rockport shops, restaurants and galleries and of course the sea and those stunning views! The owner was very helpful and kind and I would highly recommend this house for a cozy and relaxing break.

This is our third visit to this comfortable home and it welcomes us like an old friend! As always, everything was clean and in working order. Even though the weather was a bit chilly, we still enjoyed the backyard. You can't beat the location for wonderful walks and for convenience to restaurants and shops. The Owner was most responsive and accommodating, as always. We love this home! Thank you for allowing us to rent your Wonderful Rockport Home!

I meant to write this review last spring! We had a great stay at this lovely cottage last May. The place was spacious and clean. The big, updated kitchen and the pretty backyard were highlights for us. The owner was easy to work with. I had wondered whether we'd hear a lot of street noise, since it's on a somewhat central road, but it was not an issue in May. It might be worth noting that the stairs to the bedrooms on the second level are pretty steep. It was not an issue for us (we prohibited our toddler from using them without help), but it could be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

My family of five has been renting this awesome property in Rockport for three years! Repeat customers are the best advertisement! The house is perfect! The beds are comfortable, the house is very clean and organized! We especially enjoy the air conditioning after a day at the beach! There were plenty of towels for showers and beach towels! The full size washer and dryer came in very handy with three children! Once we park the car everything is close by! You can walk to the beach, shopping, and train station! Erin(the homeowner) is wonderful to work with! We look forward to our next trip to Rockport!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It had everything we needed except a martini shaker and martini glasses! The house was very well kept and seemed to be in a great location. Since it was off season, we weren't worried about beaches. It was less than a 5 minute walk to Dunkin Donuts, the train station, a spa, and a wonderful restaurant for couples called LoGrasso's. (Though the train was close by, we never actually heard it or felt it shaking the house, so don't be worried about that.) The only thing that a family might miss is a kitchen table (whether for eating or game playing). There was only seating at a high bar. One other thing to note: the stairs that lead to the upstairs bedrooms are steep but not unsafe. Owner Erin was always very plesant to deal with and very responsive to e-mails. I would not hesitate to recommend this property, and I hope to be back for another stay of my own!!

Just spent an incredible weekend in Rockport, thanks to this great little house. About a block away from the train station, but not so close that the trains are too loud. A short, super-quaint walk into town and the beach. Fantastic running route right on Granite street, heading out of town to the wharf, with incredible views of the ocean and Rockport. Comfortable stay, even when there ended up being nine of us! So nice having a full kitchen for proper meals, and all the pots and utensils for a lobster dinner are already provided. Helped to have wifi for work, too. It wasn't ideal having only one bathroom, but with a conscientious crowd, it wasn't much of an issue. Also be aware that only the two bottom floor bedrooms have doors on them, and you'll need to walk through one of the upstairs bedrooms to reach the other. We didn't mind, but if privacy/intimacy is an issue for you, it's something to consider. We let the newest couple take the downstairs master bedroom. Wink-wink-nudge-nudge. I think we spent most of our time in the quaint backyard, which was a huge relief from being cooped up in our Cambridge apartment. Rockport was a fantastic town-- just the right size. Some towns up the coast close down after Labor Day, but Rockport keeps on thriving. One word of warning: Rockport is a dry town, so if you're carless, you should pick up your drinks before arriving. There's a Shaw's with an adjacent liquor store close enough for a quick drive, so we had no problem picking up beer for the weekend. Everyone agreed: this was a perfect weekend escape from the city, in an ideal coastal town. For the nightly rate we got, you can't beat it.

It's a pleasure to write a review for this wonderful Rockport home! This is our second visit to this vacation home and it was as enjoyable this time as it was the first time we stayed here. The owner is most responsive and very pleasant to work with. The home itself works so well with the modern kitchen and two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the first floor ( There are also two bedrooms on the second floor.) as well as a comfortable living room. The master bedroom on the first floor also has a television. Everything is clean and in working order. Though the street is busy, at times, with the central AC you are not as aware of it and are most comfortable. The neighborhood is great for walking and the beach is close by! Also, the train to Boston is an easy walk, as well. However, you might just want to stay & enjoy the lovely, serene backyard-truly a delightful spot any time of the day! We very much look forward to our next visit at this most inviting home!

We had 4 days of rain on our week of vacation. Yet it was one of the nicest weeks of vacation that we ever took. The accommodations were very convenient to everything that we wanted to do. The town of Rockport is so quaint. We bought an original oil painting of Motif#1 to have as a keepsake. Our teenage son went kayaking and was able to walk around town at night with his friend. We went into Boston 2 days by train and had a great time there. We also went whale watching from 7 Seas in Gloucester. It was awesome. We saw a great white shark as well as 25 - 30 whales. We also went to Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester which was absolutely beautiful. We also toured Halibut Point State Park and both our dog and our teenager enjoyed hiking the rocky coastline! We would highly recommend this rental with the convenience to everything plus Erin ( the owner) was very hospitable. Peg and Bob Spencer Reading, Pa

We would highly recommend this rental! The home was spacious, comfortable and convenient to many ammenities, other interesting areas in the Cape Ann area, and Boston. The rental owners were responsive and ensured that we were met upon arrival with a clean and well stocked house that immediately felt like "home". We would definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful week!
