The Barn offers many choises: relax in the health spa, a romantic honeymoon, a journey into wine and gastronomy, a tour to the main art cities, or simply some private time to relax and revitalise in the beautiful tuscan countryside
The area offers plenty of outdoors activities, great food and wine and being il Fienile less than an hour motoring away from fascinating Italian art cities such as Florence, Siena and San Gimignano, Volterra, cultural curiosity can easily be satisfied.

Wonderful Tuscan Vacation

We spent a week in what they called a "barn",. Let me tell that this was built by the gentleman that owns it. This very beautiful stone house. We were traveling with two other couples. The three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, were a great refuge after a day of touring the Tuscan country side. The great room (kitchen, dining and living room) was perfect for all that we needed. A car is required for this area. Radicondoli and Belforte are the closest towns. In Radicondoli we had a number of great dining experiences at the Grandiere Pizzeria ( trust me it was much more than a pizzeria. they had a very good menu and wine list). The owners are Mossimo and Christina. They also do cooking lessons which we also enjoyed. We used this wonderful house as our base and traveled to 6 or 7 other villages/town in the region. There are plenty of interesting sites and hill sides that are covered with vineyards, lemon and olive orchards. All of the people that we met were very friendly and helpful.I can't say any more. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the barn-House. We were there in cooler fall days so we chose not to use the pool and we didn't use the sauna's, although they looked very nice.I can imagine relaxing by the pool soaking up the Tuscan sun. All six of us highly recommend this property.

I highly recommend staying at the Barn for families or a group of friends. The barn was nicely restored with all the amenities and more a person would need while staying. The pictures shown are very true to the actual site, but even better in person. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms and the friendliness of the owner and staff, who were very helpful. The view and privacy of the barn are fantastic, yet within a 5 minute drive to Radicondoli. We loved our stay here and wish we had more time to spend at the Barn and in the Tuscany region! Traveling from the Barn to other hill towns was very easy, but a car is definitely needed while visiting here. We hope to return again someday soon.

Wonderful! had such a fun and relaxing time in your guest barn. We are celebreting wedding anniversaries 25 years and 20 years, CAn't think of a better place to be! Loved the pool, sauna,and steambath. The smell of heavenly, jasmine permeated the house and outdoors on the patio rose bushes were gorgeous. We made a new friend Uma the neighbor dog. We'll miss her. Hope to be back one day.

Had a fantastica time at The Burn, whic is perfectly located far visiting the sights of Tuscany. Tips: The Coop Supemarket is in Colle Val d'Elsa and stays open until 8.30 pm in the week. It is the best of the supermarket in the area. Plenty of wildlife around wacth out of the derr and wild boars, of which after appear on the back of the burn. BBQ works a treat.... All in all, a really good place to chill out. Suspect we will back sometime soon.

this place was magical; it had pretty much everything the heart desires; the best part was that the owners left us alone, but assisted whenever we needed anything; the location is idyllic but the villa is pretty far away from siena or other main tuscan attractions; a car is essential; Highly recommend this place;

We had a lovely holiday at the barn, our expectations were quite high and our week in Radicondoli met them all. We had planned to do a little more exploring of the country side but the barn and all it had to offer proved to tempting and we had trouble venturing too far from the pool. We especially enjoyed the cooking class and the divine meal prepared by Luana, accompanied by some very good brunello. The barn was the perfect setting for our friends holiday and we hope to return to visit again. Thanks to Angela and Luca for such a lovely holiday.

The house is better than the advert! It is a special gem in an already jeweled countryside. There was nothing missing in the house. You have thought of everything. We have never had such a warm welcome. The wine, pie, and a fully equipped kitchen were very much appreciated. Thank you very much for all the "extras" you include in your villa rental: don't change anything! Sandy and Doro, October 2007.

We had an absolutely fabulous holiday, the house and its location near Radicondoli are both stunning, our expectations from the web-site were very high, but they were exceeded. we loved the wonderfully creative way you had retained its old charachter whilst making it modern and adding some novel touches! In our 35 years of travelling, it is one of the places that we liked the best. It is a well equipped large place. Having 4 bathrooms, a sauna, a steam bath, is a real plus and hard to find in other places. We ate out on the garden several times. Higly, Higly recommended. Brenda
