What fun it was to stay at a real beach house. I especially liked that there were so many beach toys available for us to use. We enjoyed our days at the beach and evenings barbecuing and watching movies that were there for us to use. This was truly a relaxing getaway.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.

This was a complete nightmare. The house was horribly dirty, smelled like cat pee, mold on the dishes, paint falling off cupboard into the dishes, dust an inch thick, and More! The place was filled with junk, the toys were from 1975 and no one would use them, the garage was filled with JUNK! And didn't have a lock but the owner politely told us if anything was missing he would just start adding it up to charge us. The bathtub didn't work, the hot tub was dirty and crusty...don't stay here. We stayed one night then had to jump around the rest of our vacation. He wouldn't even give our money back!!!
Owner response:Sorry for these peoples disappointment. This is a beachouse-Not the Ritz. it is neat and clean. The garage houses all the toys-10 surfboards,40 wetsuits,scooters,skateboards,fishing and golf equipmentand several bicycles. . I'm sure there is dust-and even some sand from the beach in there. The tools to maintain the yard and equipment are also housed there. There are locks on the garage and a key provided. The spa is fiberglass and clean though the cover is older. Unfortunately a cat wandered into the yard and went to the bathroom sometime while they were there.??? On inspection of one of the utensils(a fork) had a cracked handle which allowed mold to infiltrate it under the fastening device. These people expressed disappointment in the situation and I suggested another rental, owned by a friend of mine which is brand new throughout as an alternative. Within 3 days (they were not available during business hours) I refunded the balance of their deposit,less per diem and cleaning fee. I am sorry for their disappointment and even sorrier that I lost a two week booking to previous customer as a result of their reservation and cancelation Please give a call or e-mail with any questions or further explanation.
