There is nothing better than ski-in/ski-out access, because with it there is no need to worry about those potential issues and that is what we offer at Tyra Summit.
The condo is ideal for those focused on convenience and location. And it isn’t just any Tyra Condo; it is a cozy one bedroom condo tucked away in a small complex and is perfect for a couple or small family that is eager to ski and not looking to worry about late night noise. Situated directly across the street from Four O’ Clock run and Snowflake Lift, it doesn’t get any better or easier than this.
In the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the views of town and letting the sunshine warm you. Once you’re ready to face the day, walk across the street and let the adventure begin. If you get hungry during the day, come home for a hot lunch while you warm your toes next to the wood-burning fireplace. Then venture back out to finish your day with some more powder turns.
When the lifts close and your legs have been pushed to their limit, grab your swim suit and walk back across the street to enjoy the heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Or, do like the locals and brave the cold by venturing down to the outdoor hot tub. While the jets rejuvenate your tired muscles watch as the snow falls around and promises another great day of skiing tomorrow.
When it’s time to eat you have the option of enjoying a meal prepared in your fully stocked kitchen back at the condo or drive the four blocks into town to taste some of the delicious meals that the surplus of restaurants offer. Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy steak or hot and sour soup there is something for everyone. After dinner you can choose to take part in Breckenridge’s famed nightlife or head home to watch your favorite movie on the plush leather couch.
No matter how you end your night we are confident that you will have enjoyed it. The oversized king bed will serve as the perfect place to lay your head and will guarantee a restful night’s sleep ensuring you are ready for another day in the Colorado Rockies.
In addition, each home is only supplied with Eco-friendly tissues, soaps, detergents and shampoos that have not been tested on animals. We strive to provide you with the best of everything to ensure you will come to love Breckenridge as much as we do.
This home welcomes up to two adults or up to four with families.
4WD is not required for this home but we do recommend it for winter seasons.

Why the Owner Chose Tyra Summit
A very common line around here is “we came for the winter and stayed for summer”. I can’t tell you how many “locals” say they came here to experience just one season of fun on the slopes before returning to the “real world”. Five, 10, 20 years later they’re still here! Some tried to leave and ended up coming back thinking that retirement was just too far off! Breckenridge is an adult's playground. With or without children, there are numerous activities and events to keep all ages happy.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I visit this property regularly and know it about as well as I know my own home. I can tell you that my favorite aspect of this home is it’s coziness. It’s a condo like so many are around here, but the wood burning stove, the south-east facing windows/deck and the fact that it is only one of three units in the building make this a perfect retreat for one or for a small family. In addition, you only have to walk across the street to access Four O’clock Run in the winter for ski in/out accessibility or use the same trail to hike in the woods in the summer. You can take the trail right down into town as well, which makes it ideal for those who like to walk. This is where my mom stays when she comes out alone for a visit.

We are Pete and Imane and we own a small vacation lodging business called Book Breck Lodging. We manage several homes here in Breckenridge for second homeowners. The advantage of a small management company over renting directly from a homeowner or from a large resort is that we are on location and accessible.
The best part of the job for us is that we get to meet people who also love Breckenridge or who are about to experience it for the first time. We each fell in love with this town because of the variety of things that it offers. It's a small town with a big personality. It offers the charm, quaintness and history typical of a small town, but combines the liveliness and variety of different fun and adventurous activities, high end restaurants and shopping, and year round community activities. It’s the perfect balance of two worlds that has created a laid back and fun place to be. We have yet to meet someone who hasn’t fallen under the Breckenridge spell!
Sometimes we just talk to our guests on the phone. Sometime we’ll have a glass of wine with them and really get to know them. It depends on the guest and if they prefer privacy in their vacation home away from home, or if the have time to sit down with some locals. Either way, we want our guests to think of us as their friends in Breckenridge who they can come visit again and again.

We loved that about this little condo. Close to town yet removed from the fray! So peaceful adn private. The view was lovely and I sat outside for breakfast every morning - terrific that I didn't have to look at any of the neighbors - I was in my own little garden. One evening the fox visited but never returned. We certainly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Imane and her team are totally professional, vert courteous and available. They made a reservation at noon on a Friday and there was a welcome note when we arrived at four. She chatted with my 9 year old son, addressing him by his name and checked with us on Saturday morning just to make sure all was well. This is THE way to run a vacation rental agency. Thank you very much!!!

Thank you so muich for the use of your condo. We have been here for 3 weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed ourself. The place is amazing, very well stocked, very clean, and very comfortable!!! Brilliant location and Imane and Shannon have been excellent in managing our stay. We had one major set back at the end of our trip (car towed) but it was sorted out very swiftly and caused no inconvenience = brilliant service! We hope to be back next year. Thanks againn!

My husband and I just returned from Breckenridge and our stay at the Tyra Summit. It has a great ski in/ski out location. 4 O'Clock Run is across the street. The first day, we climbed snow drifts to get to the run, but after climbing through waist high snow, we decided from then on just to ski down 4 O/Clock Road to Snowflake chair lift. The condo was very clean and nicely furnished, with many staples (spices, sugar, coffee filters, shampoo, hair dryer etc). There is a ski locker outside the condo which was very convenient at the end of the day. The owners communicated very well and answered all of our questions. They supplied a book on area attractions, maps, restaurants, and even a savers card from the local grocery store. The condo was too far to walk to town in the winter. If the weather was warmer, it would be a very nice walk. But the wind chills were below zero, so we drove when we went in town. The only problem we had, was noise from the upstairs neighbors. Nothing terrible, but it sounded like big foot was walking and dropping things all evening. I would definitely recommend this condo and would return again myself.

Tyra condos are better ski-in/out location compared to many other condos near Snowflake Lift because it was uphill (or above) the lift. Units in this building are designed for more privacy. Downtown is walking distance of a few blocks, but there are free parking lots in the evening if you choose to drive. Grocery store about 5 minutes drive and a condo key had a discount keytag attached. Lift ticket office and rentals at Snowflake lift. Property managers were easy to work with and they customized our check-in/out time based on our actual flight times at Denver Airport. Also we left cash and a charger in the condo and they mailed it back to us. Suggestions for future guests: Breckenridge is a huge mountain with many ski bases. If you miss the ski runs to get back to the condo at the end of the day, there are shuttles from other bases back to Snowflake Lift. Note that Tyra 1 & Tyra 2 have separate clubhouses for hot-tubs/pool, which I recommend finding on your first day so you will be less confused if you need it during the night, plus if you have questions you can call during office hours. Overall great stay. Great location.

We had a wonderful time in Breckenridge......what a special town. Your condo was wonderful and was perfect for us. We appreciate the cleanliness of the condo, and it was great to have some condiments, laundry supplies, and dishwashing supplies available! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely contact you, and we will tell our friends who travel to Breckenridge in the summer about your condo.
