Thank you for your interest in our home in beautiful Del Mar, truly a world class community. We have temperate weather year round, as well as, an incredible variety of activities to enjoy. Starting with our miles of pristine beaches for year round beach combing and surfing. In the summer months the sea is warmer and calmer for fabulous ocean swimming. Del Mar has it’s own professional lifeguards who are the absolute best. We also have a beautiful park on the beach, as well as Torrey Pines state reserve, which surrounds Del Mar with open space and gorgeous hiking trails.
For those who enjoy festivals, at the bottom of the hill is the famous Del Mar Fairgrounds. Where every week there are events including the San Diego fair in June and thoroughbred horse racing season for six weeks starting in med July. The world famous public Torrey Pines Golf Course is very close. Del Mar also has a wide variety of incredible restaurants with oceanviews with locally inspired cuisine.
Our home is located on the hill above Del Mar, in a warm, quite residential neighborhood with easy access to everything. We have our own local shopping center with all the amenities, such as, a grocery store, drug store, laundry, etc. We’ve owned our home since 1983, and over the years we have created a charming living environment both indoors and out. Fine quality wood and leather furnishings, as well as original sculptures and paintings are throughout the property.
One of our main passions has been landscaping and over the past 24 years we have created a sub tropical garden of unsurpassed beauty. With it’s centerpiece being a black bottom salt water pool, spa and waterfall. The result is a peaceful sanctuary that allows you to experience the mind-body-spirit connection that is so life affirming and rejuvenating. Which is what a real vacation is all about! Spa's, yoga, meditation and spiritual center’s are available.
