If you are looking for that quiet get away where you can relax in a beatiful area and a neat house this is for you. There are no tourists, no traffic, no noise, and has everything you need. The owners are friendly helpful and genereally nice people. The home is on the bay with a great view of the sunrise from the deck. If you want the GuIf beach it is less than a 5 minute walk and we were there two days in a row and had it pretty much to ourselves. I have a family of six and we were very comfortable. I will return and recommend this for anyone who wants to get away from the hussle and bussle.

Perfectly Secluded Get-Away Vacaton Spot

My husband and I needed to get away for just some fishing and relaxation...we found it in this home. It was cozy and comfortable and the views were spectacular! The sun rise was awesome and a small private beach was just a few feet away. The owner was very kind and recommended some good resturants fairly close by. We will go back again soon, I hope. If you want to just relax and rest and fish...this is the place for you.

I was lucky to find the perfect home for a weekend get-a-way. The scenic view of the bay from the back balcony is simply breath taking. My wife and I found ourselves the first morning resting on the benches on the balcony sipping on coffee and watching the beautiful sunrise. The private beach on the bay is just the right size for a small picnic or just relaxing in the sand. There is a small paddle boat that we used to paddle out in the bay and catch a few fish. The owners are excellent people to do business with! They were very helpful in helping us make the reservations and took time to explain the amenities in the area. If you are looking for an affordable place offering scenic views with all the amenities away from the touristic traffic – this is your place! We will be back…………..

This was exactly what we needed to relax and get away for a week, we found the home to have everything we needed to enjoy our visit. The area is non touristy and very safe and more the natural Florida not like some of the more developed beach areas we have been to. We found that aspect to be very appealling. The views from the home, especally the sunrise over the water were spectacular and we really enjoyed all the wildlife such as birds, squirrels and raccoons nearby. The owners were very nice and helpful offering advice and information on the area, there are lots of things to do and see in the area. We plan to book another visit here later in the summer.

Very disappointed

While this property does have spectacular views, the views are not from the inside as the two sets of sliding glass doors are very difficult to see out of due to dried condensation between the two layers of glass. The outside is rustic and this was fine but the property has not been well maintained. The gas grill was so dirty that we were afraid to use it. Some cookware had peeling nonstick surfaces. The setting of the home is very nice however and we enjoyed looking at the beach and water from the deck. The air conditioners are old and very noisy but they do cool the house. If your expectations are not high you may enjoy it but I can't recommend it.

Owner response:Very unreasonavle guest, grossly exaggerated deficiencies. Its not the Ritz Carlton but much nicer than depicted by this guest. We have many return guests, there are good reasons for it.
