Immaculate, quiet and private home sitting on a knoll overlooks the forests and ocean. Watch the fishing boats and whales pass by in the distance.
Built in 2002 the 1440 sq.ft.home is light and airy. A great room consisting of the living room, dining room and open kitchen is perfect for entertaining family and friends. Up a spiral staircase is the loft with two twin beds, tv/vcr and lots of movies for a quiet afternoon. The atrium has a queen futon and sliding glass doors that open to a landscaped yard and conversation area.
Spacious master bedroom with tv/dvd looks out to the ocean and a charming "Nome Garden". Large laundry/spare room works as additional sleeping room with a pull out sleeper couch. Don't be surprised if you only want to stay home to read a book and relax.
Walk to beautiful Heceta Beach to go shelling at low tide or stop in the coffee shop/restaurant at Driftwood Shores for dinner or cocktails. Discover the many hidden paths to the dunes and jetty. Jerry's is minutes away for a great hamburger and fries. Shopping is great at the Fred Meyer's grocery/department store.
Outdoor entertaining is fun with the fire pit and conversation area overlooking the forest and ocean. The sunset view is picturesque.
The Sea Lion Caves are located north on 101. Tour Heceta Head lighthouse while on your drive. You can pick up great crab (in season). (Yum) There is so much to see and do.
Don't miss the great lakes that offer boating, swimming, canoeing, and fishing just minutes away.

Why the Owner Chose Florence
My husband and I love the outdoors and especially the mountains and lakes that Lane County have to offer. We were raised in the Mid-West and grew up with summer camping on the lakes. We were unable to find anything suitable in So. California where we now live. The Pacific Northwest is all that we miss and more- small towns, friendly people and a different take on life and what is important. It it our Decompression Home- A place to escape and RELAX.
