We just got home from your cabin. Wanted to let you know we so enjoy your home. Sitting on the porch in the morning drinking our coffee and ending the day with a glass of wine. We are looking for property in that area (or near) and hope we can luck out and run into that perfect piece of property like you did with Mountain Meadow. Looking forward already to returning in September. Thanks.

We enjoyed your cabin. Thanks for accommodating with such short notice. Love the central location. Finally saw a bear way up in a tree in Gatlinburg (Roaring Fork loop).

We had a wonderful time in the Smokies and thoroughly enjoyed your cabin! It is in a beautiful location and ranks as one of our favorites! We loved seeing the wild turkies, horses, red-headed woodpeckers and almost a black bear in Cade's Cove the cars ahead of us were the lucky ones . . . maybe next time). Thank you for sharing your home with us. It's so beautifully decorated and equipped (for which we really appreciate). We hope to come again!

This cabin is beautiful and the locations is perfect. We enjoyed feeding the horses and watching the wild turkeys. The pictures do not do the cabin justice. We loved the porch swings and rocking chairs. The local business owners and residents of the community are so warm and friendly. It was just a wonderful experience. Thank you for sharing your cabin with my family

Loved the cabin! Had everything we needed (except maybe a firepit). We have been to this area many times and think this has been our favorite place to stay and will come back again. Thanks so much!

Great trip. Cabin very nice. Maybe we'll be back with kids. No animals except Cades Cove. Well, few turkeys & birds. Maybe we'll come when leaves are gone and can see things better. Thanks.

Another beautiful trip to the great Smokey Mountains. It was a relaxing vacation. Our cousins came over from N. Carolina to visit, we haven't seen them in 25 years. It was nice. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.

Wow! What an absolutely beautiful home tucked into the most peaceful little spot! This was by far the nicest cabin we've stay in. We hiked, tubed, swam and even ventured into Pigeon Forge. We saw lots of wildlife - including the turkeys - but alas, no bears. Thank you for sharing your "2nd" home with us. I'm not sure what your "1st' home is like, but I wouldn't be able to leave this one! Maybe we'll come back to the area in the next couple years & stay again if schedules match up. Thanks again! Sincerely,

Hi Taylor! We wanted to thank you for providing such a beautiful home-away-from-home for our vacation. It was just wonderful and we hope to come back in a couple of years when we return to our favorite vacation spot - The Smoky Mountains! Once we got the hot water going, everything was smooth as silk. We read your story about the cabin in the guest book. Wow! You did an incredible job on the cabin and I'm not sure how you can stand to be away from it! Beautiful setting and a beautiful home in the perfect location.

We are so grateful that we got to stay in this cabin. It is perfect - serene, yet close to everything if you need it. We hiked (saw deer, bear, snakes, rabbits), tubed down the river, swam at the pool around the corner, and relaxed each day at the cabin. Our girls loved having the upstairs to themselves. All your hard work has really paid off with this lovely home. We hope to visit soon! Thank you! And, feeding the horses apples was awesome.

This was one of the best cabins we've stayed in! The cabin was well-maintained, very clean, and had everything we could imagine for our stay. The photos listed are very accurate. Our young kids loved hanging out on the porch, playing in the loftm and feeding the horses. We felt that it was centrally located to everything, yet very quiet so we could relax after a full day of playing. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful in leaving many brochures of things to do in the area. I would definitely come back to this little piece of paradise.

It was an amazing experience to see all the wildlife and relax for a change. I do soccer and karate so I'm always on the run. We had so much fun with the pool, ping-pong, and foosball tables. This is an amazing cabin and I would come back even if it is snowing! Thank you so much! I'm sure all the other families will have as much fun as we did!

Your home is beautiful! We absolutely loved staying here. The cabin is spotless, beautifully decorated and located perfectly. We were central to everything. One of our favorite day trips was to Ben Yoders Stables. We rode horses and he took us to the top of the mountain opposite Wear Valley Road from this cabin. Their stables are right behind the red roofed General store across Wear Valley Road and to the right leaving Headrick Drive. Wonderful Christian people. Our little girl loved the bed in the loft and called it the "Princess Bed". She begged us to sleep there every night. Having the horses nearby was a daily treat also. The neioghbors fenced in the area at bottom of driveway (below satellite) most afternoons so we were able to walk down and see them every day. The cabin and surrounding area are so relaxing and peaceful. Thank you for the wonderful time! The B. Family

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. My husband, eleven year old daughter and I loved everything about our trip to Wears Valley and being able to stay in your home was the best part. My daughter loves horses so being so close to the horse farm was heaven for her. The craftsmanship in this home is absolutely amazing. I hope we can return soon and maybe stay longer. The only thing that we didn't have that would have been nice was a hot tub. But only heaven is perfect and this home was pretty close. Again thanks for sharing. Anyone wondering if they should stay here..... the answer is YES !!!! It's worth every penny and the owners are extremely nice and easy to work with. ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your cabin is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Meadow! So many memories were made. We challenge the next families to find more wildlife than we did! We were lucky enough to see horses (they love to follow you - bring apples!), turkeys, salamandar, snakes (in the park), deer, our nightly visitor - Mr. Raccoon - rocks won't keep him away! And, yes ... a bear! We loved the games - especially the big checker board. Swinging each morning watching them load up the horses was a treat! Once again, thank you for sharing your home! We will be back!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin here at Christmas of 2010. We enjoyed all the Christmas decorations and the tree. It made my first Christmas without my mom seem like she was still with us because she loved bears and the bear theme was just perfect. It snowed the first 3 days here & the kids had a great time sleding. The games came in handy also. Thanks for the memories.

Not only were we blessed enough to spend Thanksgtiving in your beautiful vacation home, but we got to spend time with our family. From my parents to grandparents, to the turkeys and birds, our trip was completely amazing! Chilly evenings by the fireplace were such a great way to end our busy days. We were even visited by my cousin and her family while here! This was the most memorable Thanksgiving I can remember. I wanted to also let you know that we have never been to a cleaner or better constructed cabin. My parents celebrated 56 years togehter while here. The whole visit was magical and we thank you for sharing it with us! I write for our newspaper "The News Democrat" and I can't wait to "brag" on Moutnain Meadow to all of Humphreys County.

We had a wonderful time at Mountain Meadow! The cabin was very clean & comfortable...and quiet. The locatin was perfect. Close enough to everything to feel "connected," but situated in such a way as to offer peace, quiet and privacy away from congested tourist areas. We had such a nice time sitting on the porch watching the horses and turkeys. The leaves were beautiful!! Additionally, this was the first time in several years, my wife, who is disabled and has limited mobility, was able to move about the cabin with little or no difficulty - only two steps to enter the cabin and the master suite on the main level. Thank you for opening your lovely cabin to us. We had a lovely time and will definately be telling our friends about Mountain Meadow!

Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your lovely cabin. The loction is perfect - close enough to everything to feel "connected" yet secluded enough for peace & quiet. The trees were beautiful. We enjoyed watching the horses & turkeys from the porch. My mom is disabled and she had no trouble getting around in the cabin - a first for her in several years. Thank you for that. We will definately be telling our friends about it and look forward to another stay at Mountain Meadow. Blessings.

This natural setting is such a reminder of the beautiful blessings God has given and will give to us. Just as His promoise of the "land flowing with milk & honey" for the Isrealites, this countryside exhibits the richness of God's creation for us all. Lord, keep our focus on you, not on the obstacles, on what you see, not our shortsighted vision. Let us see the wild turkey and the roaming horses, not the steepness of the trail and the distance still to climb. Thank you for sharing your cabin and a piece of this gorgeous country of ours. God bless you.

Returned to our home this afternoon from beautiful Wear's Valley and your fabulous cabin!! We had a super time, and your house was more than we could have imagined!! Thank you for sharing your comfortable, well-equipped home! My husband is a forestry man and was simply in awe of your use of wood. We hope to visit again! I just wish it were a little larger so we could carry all of our family, but I guess they'll just have to take turns! Thank you again for the wonderful accommodations.
