This villa features wireless, new flatscreens, new furniture, original paintings and photographs, a selection of Civil War and natural history books. In addition, we provide a personal guide on driving to Kiawah, enjoying island activities, and eating out at some of the best low-country restaurants.
Unlike some of the Kiawah rentals on VRBO, this villa offers you the security and amenities of Resort privileges. This gives you access to Kiawah's Night Heron and Turtle Cove pools and cafes, 24/7 check in, golf/tennis discounts up to 25%, a free island shuttle, advance reservations for island dining, and the security of round the clock Front Desk assistance. We are also within a stone's throw of tennis, and the Straw Market for ice cream and lunch.
Most important, the villa is just steps away from the spectacular ten-mile beach for swimming, biking, and sunning. Alternatively, guests can enjoy award-winning golf courses, as well as miles of bike paths; and, not least of all, dining and afternoon tea at the sumptuous Sanctuary, or morning coffee at Java Joe's at Freshfields, a brand new marketplace at the island's entrance.
For variety, Charleston is just a 30-40 minute drive from the villa. This historic city boasts antebellum houses and churchyards, secret gardens, romantic walks, renowned restaurants, colorful markets and shops. Also within striking distance for the day are historic plantations and the captivating communities of Beaufort and Savannah.
