This is a newly remodeled and redecorated chalet. It has a fully stocked kitchen and a large grill on the deck. It sits directly on the very best sugar sand beach in the area. There is no road between the house and the beach, and the beach is private, and not shared. You can sit on the lakeside patio or on the beach and watch sunrises and sunsets over the clear aquamarine waters of Suttons Bay. This chalet is perfectly suited to accommodate families. There are three bedrooms which are nice for adults, and a bunkroom which is well-suited for kids. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, one has a full bed and the bunkroom has a queen and a double bunk (a bunk bed made up of double beds). There is an additional room with a Queen size futon. There are also a couple of queen-size sleeper sofas for extra guests.
The lake side of the house is mostly glass to maximize the beautiful views of the beach and bay. The beach is wonderful for swimming. It is not rocky, grassy, or weedy...just pure soft sand. It is easy to supervise the kids playing on the beach as the kitchen, dining room, and patio are all facing the water. You can sit back and relax on the dock while the kids play in the water.

Suttons Bay is a very quaint harbor town in Leelanau County, just north of Traverse City on the "little finger of Michigan". It is truly a wonderful family vacation destination. The area continues to get national attention as one of the best summer vacation areas in the U.S. because of all of the activities, festivals, sights, and natural beauty it has to offer.
If you are a boater, we have several companies that we can set up that will drop in a boat for you to rent for your week on the water.
