The cottage is 200 years old recently restored to its original splendor. It has a cathedral style ceiling with mezzanine and balcony effects throughout. On the grounds is a lovely stable used to keep horses as the property is in the centre of the famous Equestrian countryside of Tipperary .The cottage is located on .5 of an acre in the heart of Tipperary . Just 10 minutes from the historic town of Cashel, a perfect touring base for Tipperary, Kilkenny and Waterford .
The village of Ballinure is old and quaint with only a handful of houses on the crossroads which link Cashel with Kilkenny on the famous " Bianconi Route", the first organized transport route in the world. The well located in the centre of the front area beside the stables was used extensively by Bianconis Coachmen to quench the thirst of their hard working horses. Nowadays the area immediately surrounding the cottage is noted as some of the most beautiful and rich farming and nearby the world famous "Cashel Blue Cheese" is created. It is a wonderful rich farming land - Just check out the view from the side of the cottage.
