From here you can follow your spirit, be it exploring the Park and Hungry Horse Reservoir 3 miles away, skiing or shopping in Whitefish just 15 miles away, wetting a hook right over the back fence for cutthroat and rainbow trout, or rafting down the river to experience the "birds eye view",exploring the historic towns of Kalispell and the entire Flathead Valley. You are centrally located, only 15 miles and a world away from Glacier International Airport, 7 miles from West Glacier and the entrance to Glacier National Park, 18 miles to the metro center of Kalispell and 26 miles to Big Fork, a charming town on the north end of Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater body of water west of the Mississippi. Located in Hungry Horse, Mt., a charming small town, there are gas stations, restaurants, a supermarket, churches and many quaint, family owned businesses to explore at your leisure.
