The Luxury Seaside Getaway is brand new and done in the Provence style with hand cast plaster, faux paining, 10 feet vaulted ceilings and hand-selected antiques giving it both a romantic and European feeling. A reflection of the charm of the days bygone.
The kitchen is a chefs dream, fully equipped with wolf stove, sub zero refrigerator, granite countertops and custom PJ Mulligan cabinetry done in their seafoam green, a local color of the santa barbara area.
The bathroom is immaculate with limestone throughout and large shower for 2 with incredible dual shower heads. It also has a separate Jacuzzi tub that sits below a beautiful piece of stone carved art - the maiden - to relax in after a day at the beach.
The warm living room offers a 36' HD TV with DVD with expanded cable. It also looks out upon a large private encased courtyard complete with Italian fountain, chaise lounges, table and chairs and gas grill. Enjoy the California sun in-between the walks to the beach and town.
Our Seaside Getaway is located in the most desirable location in santa barbara, 2 blocks from the beach, Las Banos public pool, Stearns Wharf, harbor, world-class dining, and downtown shops, including our own local farmers market. Why the Owner Chose West Beach
We choose this location literally because it is the best. Walk down 2 blocks and you are on the sand and the Las Banos public pool is there. Walk 2 more blocks over and you are at the Wharf and State Street (main stree downtown) - so we are walking distance to all - Others will say they are but you have to walk 1+ miles just to get here. And we offer private reserved parking so you don't have to fight for a spot on the street. Finally we are in a nice residential area, not on a commercial thorough fare or next to the highway or railroad tracks for which some of the vacation rentals literally shake. One golden rule of real estate is location location and we have it.
Santa Barbara Public Pool offers an olympic and kiddy size pools and are located on West Beach, 2 blocks from our Seaside Getaway
The famous Stearns Wharf and main street downtown are 2 blocks over - so you can be walking distance to all.

This vacation property has it all - luxury, charming decor, amenities and location. Truly luxurious with a powerful raindrop shower, Jacuzzi tub, deluxe bedding, granite counters and eating area in the kitchen and a beautiful private patio complete with BBQ. The kitchen is a joy to cook in and the living room is a great place to relax. It was a very quick walk to the beach and Warf, and then the other way a quick walk to State Street for dining and shopping. Overall an excellent vacation experience. Thank you Melanie and Todd!

The Seaside Getaway was a perfect base for my husband and me. Close to the beach, downtown, and the freeway for day excursions. The decor is truly outstanding for a rental, and I am a particular person! I wouldn't hesitate to rent from this owner again.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

My wife and I travel to Santa Barbara about two to three times a year for the past 15 years. For the obvious reason it's a great romantic getaway. We have stayed at several hotels and B&B's. Now that we have found this place I doubt we will stay anywhere else. I must believe this place would please even the most discriminating individuals. The decor is rich and tasteful with very high end furnishings and appliances. The best part in location, location , location. short walk to the beach/wharf and right next to State street with all it's quaint shops.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

This is a lovely Santa Barbara getaway, lots of very nice touches, and great location. However, the bed was terrible - the mattress is very soft and squishy, and terribly uncomfortable! It needs to be replaced!
Owner response:We are very disappointed that this guest did not like the mattress and that he did not inform us of the matter directly. The bed is a new high end orthepedic and we have never had a complaint. However, this input is invaluable to our business and we will correct the bed situation ASAP. All of our customer input is invaluable to us. The good news is the rest of the review and I ask the reader of this review to take note of the other very positive comments which are consistent with the other guest reviews.

This Seaside Getaway is wonderful for a couple. The location is great, very close to State Street, Beach, harbor and Stearn Wharf, many restaurants within walking distance. The unit itself is comfortable with luxurious finishes. Great kitchen and bath. The patio with barbecue is private and comfortable. The owners really keep the property in top condition. My husband and I had a wonderful week there and although the bedroom is small, it is quiet and comfortable. I can't imagine a better place anywhere near the price.

From the chilling champagne awaiting our arrival to the truly invigorating rainhead showers (and jacuzzi!) and DVDs waiting to be watched on the large flat screen the Seaside Getaway was a real treat. Well equipped, comfortable and a great location, being only a short hop from the ocean, restaurants and shopping. And a reserved parking space! Well worth travelling thousands of miles for!
