Sea Colony East - right on the ocean with one of the best views at Sea Colony. Enjoy the view and sound of the surf from the balcony (with 4 large cushioned chairs), master bedroom, living and dining rooms, and kitchen. Short (5 minute) walk to the town of Bethany Beach, the Bethany Boardwalk, and all the shops and restaurants.
Our three bedroom (two full bathrooms) condominium is located on the eighth floor of the Georgetowne House Building in Sea Colony East. We have new furniture throughout the condo. The living room features a large sofa and a love seat as well as a Panasonic 42 inch plasma TV and a DVD player.
The dining table seats six people with additional seating for two at the bar. The living room and the entrance foyer have large glass mirrors covering the south walls. The floors in the condo are all ceramic tile. The kitchen has a large counter-depth side-by-side refrigerator, with ice maker, and a ceramic top (flat top) electric range. We have very nice granite counter tops in the kitchen and we have made other attractive improvements. We recently remodeled the closet doors in the three bedrooms and added built in shelves and drawers in the third bedroom closet.
The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed and a private bathroom. Furniture includes a dresser, two night tables, a vanity desk and chair. The second bedroom features queen-size and twin size beds, while the third bedroom has a twin size daybed with a twin size trundle bed. The second bathroom is adjacent to the second and third bedrooms. There are TVs and DVD players in every bedroom - Most of the TVs are plasma/LCD TVs and the one in the master bedroom hangs on the wall. There is also a Sony PlayStation 2 entertainment system in the 3rd bedroom.
Since this is an end unit, the second and third bedrooms have windows facing the outside (and not facing the corridor); thus, our condo is very bright and private. Our unit is also larger than most other units in Sea Colony East because it is an end unit (the 01 column).
The 2 bathrooms have been upgraded for 2010 with new tiles, new toilets, and new frameless glass shower/bath doors.
Enjoy all that Sea Colony has to offer; only steps to the private beach and pools.
Weekly rentals only, but we offer a 3-day minimum in May and the first week of June.
Please note that for all rentals, in addition to the rates listed below, there is:
1. A security protection plan fee of $55.
2. A rental agency 6% reservation fee.
3. A Sea Colony recreation fee of $15 to $35 per person 4 and older.

Travel insurance is optional.
Linens (sheets, blankets, towels) are also available for an additional fee of $121.

We stayed at this condo last year and thought it was great. It was very clean, well appointed with every amenity you could think of, and had an excellent ocean view. My husband particularly enjoyed an early morning coffee while reading the NY Times on the balcony and watching the sunrise. We have 2 kids, 1 is 7 and the other is 10. There were many planned activities for the kids. We just reserved again for the summer of 2011.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

My family and I stayed in this fantastic place in April and while not sunbathing temps, it was in the upper 60's and 70's and we still found lots to do. This place is one of the cleanest and most well equipped and maintained properties I have been in. You can tell that the owners furnish and equip the place not only for their own comfort but also for those that they rent to. The condo is updated and modern and many things looked brand new. Cleaning is always hit or miss in places we have rented but this place was impeccably cleaned. The mattresses were really comfortable which is good news for us old folks that need our sleep. The view was incredible. I could have sat out on the deck and watched the waves for days. There is something hynotic about laying in bed and listening to the roar of the surf. Some mornings you could see the dolphins out romping and playing in the ocean. I could not believe how close to come to the shoreline. The community of Sea Colony is also great and features lots of amenities like indoor and out pools, fitness rooms, saunas, play ground for the kids, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, etc. You don't ever have to leave the grounds if you don't want to. The Bethany Beach boardwalk is just a short distance away (walkable for most) with lots of quaint stores, shops and yummy eateries. (I highly recommend Maureen's Ice Cream & Dessert shop). There are other stores and shops right across the street as well. You simply can't go wrong with this condo. Priced very reasonably for all it has to offer.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

What a great location & view! The place is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need...... We had several family members join us for a weekend and we were all comfortabaly accommodated. It's a wonderful place to kick back and relax. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
