Wonderful Accomodations

Four of us, two couples, arrived Mar 3 and left on Mar 11 2012. The unit suited our needs totally. There are three bedrooms all with bathrooms and the main Master has wonderful ocean views. The other master has partial ocean views Very comfortable beds, two king size and one with two beds. Both afford great ocean sounds 24 hours a day. All three bedrooms provide privacy as they are separated from each other. The kitchen is well supplied and a really nice treat is a side by side refrigerator and freezer with a water and ice dispenser. The location is great and the Nuevo free trolley bus at the front of the building which provides transportation around the area and will take you to Paradise Village shopping and eating. We ate out three times at Eddies twice mostly because it was across the street and would not really recommend it. We ate in for all breakfasts and most lunches. There are what appear to be great places to eat breakfasts within easy walking distance. For grocery shopping we cabbed to Walmart which has a huge grocery department and fresh fish (There is a smaller market within easy walking distance).. Cab fares are quite reasonble and the savings is well worth the expense. The unit affords wonderful views of the ocean and the two separated beaches, separated by the canal into the marina, both wonderful for beach walking which we did twice a day. Access to the one north of the unit can be reached by the Trolley. The living room is very comfortably furnishled with four chairs and a sofa and coffee table and end tables and lamps. There are views of the ocean from it and of course the ocean sounds. There is a large dining room table again with ocean views and sound. The deck is wrap around with gorgeous sunsets and views of the ocean, piers and beaches. The shared large grill is great and the pool/spa area is quite beautiful and everything in the complex is well maintained .All four of us thought we were very lucky indeed to have found this unit. Fred, the owner, was very accomodating as is the staff at Ocean Vistas Residences. The other couple we traveled with have been to Puerto Vallarta area many times and think this is the very best accomodations they have had. Both couples have had all inclusive in prior visits and found we ate and drank too much so these accomodations were just geat in that we could do both with moderation. We would recommend this unit without reservation.

This is a lovely place, spacious, light, airy, with three generous sized bedrooms and three nice baths, a well appointed kitchen, large dining room and table, and sizable relaxing living room, all with nice furniture. But the "piece de resistance" is the patio, close to 1,000 square feet, looking out in two directions, directly over the beach and ocean, and south along a well populated pretty beach, with easy walks and sunsets to die for. The staff at the Ocean Vista is friendly and helpful. There are several nice restaurants within a five minute walk (Mexican, Spanish, Italian, a cafe), not to mention water taxis, and a dolphin show where you can swim with them if desired, and two nearby small grocery stores. Also a safe area, including the filtered water in the condo. It would be hard to improve upon.

It was reunion time for five friends from high school who just celebrated their 65th birthday. We just returned from a wonderful week in Nuevo Vallarta staying at Ocean Vista. We loved the spacious accommodations – three very large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a large dining table, large living room and wrap around outside deck, complete with outdoor bar. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities to make cooking and eating a treat. A large barbeque grill and palapa were also provided for our use. We had the pool to ourselves most of the week. The pool is at the ocean’s edge. While swimming, you feel apart of the bigger ocean. Two of the bedrooms have an ocean view. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset was a special treat. This little piece of heaven is a quiet retreat you can’t help but fall in love with... A free tour bus took us around the area. We took a taxi to have dinner in Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias. There were also restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend Guido’s Italian restaurant within two blocks of the residence. There is beach access and two lovely stone piers jutting into the ocean to walk on. You can walk on the beach to a nearby hotel and have a cool drink on the beach. We will certainly go back. This is everything that Mr. Mazda says it is and more. Fred Mazda is very informative and easy to work with.

I spent many months researching and planning a spring break vacation for my family in March 2008. I was very fortunate to have selected Mr. Mazda's condo at Ocean Vista Residences. We had 8 people in our group; 5 adults and my three grandchildren, ages 11, 5 and 2. The spaciousness, layout and location of the property suited us perfectly. We had vacationed in the area twice before, but nothing could compare to this last experience. The condo is located close to, but separate from the big tourist resorts which we so appreciated since we were looking to spend time together and reconnect as we all live in different states. When we wanted quiet time, the very accessible beach and pool were perfect. The condo is within walking distance to Vallarta Adventures (where we took advantage of several outings) and several very good restaurants. Taxis were easy to access and very reasonable, even for our large group. It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Mazda. Every comment he makes about the condo and the area is completely true. The kitchen was well equiped and we enjoyed many home made meals while watching the sunset. Everything we could want was provided, including a beach umbrella (how thoughtful) and two boogie boards which two of my granddaughters put to very good use. My only hesitation in giving this vacation condo 5 plus stars is my fear that it will become too popular and will not be available the next time we want it. =

The condo rates a 5 star. Spacious and a well equipped kitchen. Quiet and no vendors on the beach, was a big plus to us. The staff was helpfull, bus service within walking distance, and dining. Recommend the Mexican coffee and dessert at Eddie's across the street. The only negative side was not being able to stay longer than 1 week. Sunsets, dolphins, fireworks all seen from the balcony. Highly recommend this condo. Bill & Barb Radke

We recentlty returned from a 2 week stay at Vista Villa Condominiums. An absolutly great facility. We had 3 couples staying in the condo and with the large layout as well as all 3 bedrooms having their own ensuite, this unit suited our requirements totally. The condo is very well kept and exceptionally clean. The staff is also very helpfull. The beaches are very clean and not the least bit crowded. There were no peddlers on the beaches in the 2 weeks we were there. This condo provided us with the peace and quiet that we were looking for to enjoy a very relaxing vacation. Very highly recomended. 5 Star Accomodation.

We just returned from 10 days in Nuevo Vallarta. The Mazdas' condo was beautiful!! They are wonderful to work with. The condo is spacious and welcoming. I cook alot and found everything I needed. The views are spectacular! The is the most beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the sight of mountains and ocean. The pool was great, we grilled and ate by the pool and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets on several nights. Just across the way, a short water taxi ride, is the Paradise Village Resort. The condo has use of the resort and the children really enjoyed the huge pool and activities there. We enjoyed sitting under the huts at the beach and having reasonably priced lunch and drinks brought to us. If you're looking for adventures, there are so many within an hour north and south of the condo. We did it all! This has been the most amazing and wonderful vacation! Thank you!!

Owner response:Access to Paradise Village resort is now limited only to the Beach club and its facilities, for a per person, per day usage fee.

We want to thank you for renting your condo to us. It was so clean and so spacious. The view was awesome, not only because full beach, but the marina as well. We saw sunsets and sunrises. We enjoyed the privacy and the security. Of all the places we have ever stayed (suites, condos, hotels), throughout the Carribean, Mexico, Hawaii and Europe, your place was by far the best.We recommend your place to anyone interested in visiting Puerto Vallarta area. Thank you.

This Condo is 5 star all the way. We have stayed in PV 4 times, The westin and the Villa Preimier, This out-classed the luxury hotels in most ways. Better than Paradise Village because you can escape back to your own piece of paradise when you want to relax. The Unit is located at Ocean Vista which is very well kept up and clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. The ride over to the beach is prompt and quick, every half hour(on the button)via the Aqua Patto. The views from the unit are fantastic. Mr. Mazda is a good person to do business with. A+

We had a lovely time in Fred Mazda's condominium in Nuevo Vallarta. The facility was wonderful, the views breathtaking, and the staff extremely helpful. We joined friends of ours there so there were eight of us in the unit. With the three bedrooms and bathrooms, the large dining room, lovely living area and deck we never felt in the least bit crowded. The views were every bit as wonderful as Mr. Mazda said they would be. The condo complex itself is lovely but the access to the resort made it perfect for the kids. We would often go to the resort to use the free boogie boards, to eat out, and to people watch. But it was terrific to return to the condo to take a swim in the lovely, quiet condo pool or sit in the spa. It took a little while for us to figure out how to most effectively use the free water taxi to get to the resort but once we got our timing down we rarely had to wait more than a few minutes to get to where we wanted to go. It runs every 30 minutes on the half hour and it only takes about 3 minutes to get across the small body of water separating the condos from the resort. Do know, however, that when we were there in June, the water taxi would stop running a little before 6:00 p.m. Then it becomes a little more inconvenient to go back and forth from the condo to the resort as the drive to the resort from the condo is rather circuitous and there is no automatic service by land. We ended up taking a taxi sometimes simply because forgot to call ahead and we didn't want to wait for the land shuttle. The taxi ride is pretty much set at 30 pesos (about $3.00). The air-conditioned mall over by the resort was great and our teenagers loved the fact that there was easy access to two different cybercafes. We used the grocery store there as well and found it to be generally well stocked -- although we generally ate out except for breakfast and snacks. We did not have a bad meal the whole time we were in the area. The Italian and Mexican food restaurants at the mall were excellent (a big surprise for us) as were those at the Paradise Village resort. We really appreciated how clean and well equipped the unit was (kitchen utensils, drying rack for towels, coffee maker, blender, hair dryer). Everything seemed to go perfectly on this vacation. We all agreed it was the best place we have ever stayed. While we were a little concerned about renting from someone we did not know over the internet we would not think twice about doing busin

My family and I just experienced one of the best vacations we've ever had over this past New Year holiday in a private condominium at Ocean Vista Residences. We've vacationed in Mexico many times and have tired of the crowds and seemingly constant commotion of the large resorts. Our stay at Ocean Vista Residences was incredibly relaxing and provided everything we needed, including a quick boat shuttle ride over to the 5 star Paradise Village Resort, where we had access to all the amenities whenever we chose. It was nice to have access to the resort for short intervals and then leave it behind to return to our own little paradise. The condominium we stayed in was very spacious--had very large rooms,an airy, pleasant decor, a huge wrap-around balcony where we spent several wonderful evenings after dinner, and also we enjoyed what felt like a private fireworks display on New Year's Eve which was staged from a boat on the ocean in front of Ocean Vista. There is a beautiful pool, jacuzzi hot tub and a wonderful barbecue grill off the patio by the pool. The property is gated and secure with access to the beach through a gate requiring a key. The staff is employed by the condominium owners at Ocean Vista and they take very good care of both the property and it's guests.

We were a little nervous about booking a condo over the internet without ever seeing it. However, when we arrived we quickly realized that we had no concerns! Mr. Mazda's condo is absolutely gorgeous. The views from the balcony are breathtaking, especially the sunsets. Th condo is very large and has verything you need. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the Ocean Vista pool in the late afternoon and also enjoyed the activities going on all day at the resort pool. It's really the best of both worlds. If you like quiet, you can relax at the condo pool and if you like music and action, the resort is where it's happening. My grandaughter loved the resort pool and the magnificent beach. The free water taxi is very handy to get back and forth. My family is already talking about going back next year!! We thought it was the best vacation we've ever taken!

Owner response:Water taxi now costs 20 pesos ( $1.75 ) per person and access to Paradise Village is limited to the Beach Club

Our stay at Ocean Vista Condominiums was in every way delightful. The condo itself is extremely comfortable, cheerful and efficient. The personnel is friendly and professional and we felt welcome and secure. The views are outstanding from the spacious balconies and we spent hours just relaxing on the balcony, enjoying the location and view. Nuevo Vallarta is a nice alternative to the noise and bustle of Vallarta, and just right for a quiet time. We were able to enjoy the pool and beach without dealing with crowds, and yet able to easily drive intoVallarta for shopping. We were very happy with our stay and we're sure to return.

It was a wonderful family vacation and the condo at Ocean Vista is truly outstanding. We found the staff very accomodating and especially liked the water taxi. It enables you to travel back and forth between the Paradise Village Resort and the condo. We used it every day and enjoyed all the amenities of the resort, especially the spa. We found the Mexican Feast to be great fun and highly recommend it. Mr. Mazda has furnished his condo nicely and we found everything we needed right there. His black binder with restaurant and tour information was a big help. Ocean Vista has beautiful grounds with a nice pool and hot tub right on the ocean. Our family enjoyed the activity of the large resort but the quietness of the condos. It was the best of both worlds. We will definitely return for another week in paradise.

We found the condo in Puerto Vallarta beautiful, clean and ready for our visit in April. Mr. Mazda had taken pains to see that someone was there with the keys to accomodate our late arrival. The staff at the condo was helpful and we felt very secure in the gated residence. The condo was well suited to our party of 5 adults. The 3 bedrooms and the 3 baths allowed everyone privacy and the common rooms were cozy and comfortable for family times together. We spent much of our time on the patio enjoying the ocean breezes and the spectacular views. The shuttle to the main resort was handy, when we wanted to use the facilities there. We had a wonderful time in Puerto Vallarta and I would not hesitate to stay in Mr. Mazda's condo again or to recommend it to my friends.

At the Ocean Vista Residences, you arrive in a lovely open air lobby looking out into the ocean. You are greeted with a warm welcome by a couple of people who will be at your service throughout your stay. When you arrive at unit 401, you have already had the opportunity to admire the impeccable upkeep of the building, including all of its spectacular landscaping. The unit itself is spacious & has a great layout, which lends itself to privacy as well as a large area in the kitchen, eating & family room where you can relax as a family & enjoy the spectacular views. Not to mention the breathtaking wrap-around balcony, where you can sit and marvel about the surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely unit & also enjoyed the advantage of using the Paradise Village Resort's many ameneties. We highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a top notch vacation place to stay. A special thank you to the Mazda's for their hospitality.

This condo is everything it claims and much more. The unit is right on the beach, the view is unbelievably beautiful, etc. If you do not enjoy your vacation, it is your fault, not the condo or the fabulous resort. The Condo is new so everything is lovely. I do not cook in too much, but if you do you cannot ask for more gadgets and utensils.
