What a beautiful condo! A great deal compared to so many others in the area....

Cons (please read on!): The condo was a little difficult to find in the dark when we arrived, but we had not asked for directions and merely relied on GPS to find it. Upon walking in, the condo seemed small, but we quickly got used to the size and the comfort and cleanliness of the condo easily made up for the size. Towel rack in bathroom had 2 decorative towels and linen closet only had 2 towels to use for 3 nights (family of 5). Cathy repeatedly said to let her know if we needed anything else during our stay, but as it was Labor Day and we didn't want to bother her to request additional towels, we used beach towels we had brought with us as bath towels. Pros: Beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Online pics are very true representation of the decor. As soon as we had unloaded our luggage, we felt at home. The sofa mattress is not extremely comfortable, but would have probably been fine for children. The nook in hall was very cute and made a nice sleeping spot for our 11 year old son. When he started tossing one night (it's not very wide), I positioned my boots under the mattress to tilt the outer side up a bit and prevent him from rolling (a trick I learned on my ship in my Navy days)....worked great! All of the extras, including books, games, spices, even disposable Ziploc containers were a very nice bonus. I had remembered my Sbux coffee, cream, and even favorite travel mug, but had forgotten to bring sugar. We were so happy to find sugar in the cupboard!!! The pool is tiny, but just a few steps from the back porch. I thought we wouldn't use it because we have a huge pool at home, but due to the terrible fires at Canyon Lake over Labor Day weekend, we spent several hours in it during our stay. The other residents and visitors at the pool were very friendly and our boys had a wonderful time playing with other kids there. The view from the back of the condo is beautiful. Although the portion of the lake seen from the back of the condo is not the main part of the lake, the water is just beautiful. Because of the condo's location on a hill, looking down at the water, sunset, etc, is very romantic and relaxing. We didn't try to feed the deer, but we saw them out a few times and really enjoyed feeling that we were in hill country. Nearby Gruene, the Gristmill, Horseshoe on the Guadalupe, and the Sailor are some of our favorite local attractions. Thanks for such a relaxing, fun weekend at a discounted, last-minute rate!

We really enjoyed staying here we loved it! We are thinking about coming back in the summer and bringing some friends along. The lake was very relaxing. We really liked the porch and having a nice place to go outside and relax. The view was great. On cold nights we gladly used the fireplace and watched a movie. The pull out bed was very convienient to us. We saw lots of deer in the morning which was really cool. We would love to come back!!

It did not take much to make this place a cozy enviroment. Our family has enjoyed the view of the lake and company of the deer. The boys loved the pool!My daughter and I watched one of the movies available at the condo when she got sick, thank goodness for home movies. It has been a fun summer vacation here. Thank you for the hospitality! Loved the Zen book and started reading one of your books and put my down.

Our family just got back from staying here. We really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the convenience of the pool, and the deer grazing in the back. We spent a lot of time in the condo just enjoying the peace, and the beautiful view. We also liked having the board games available to play. Good times! Thanks!
